Vampire Mansion: A Linda Hyde Mystery is rated 2.3 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Actually a fun game Actually, the mini game with the window is quite easy. You have no need to flip the pieces. Though, I would only play this game if you have a high level of patience and do not get bugged by many pop-ups. You can delete them right away though...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lind Hyde Vampire Mansion Collector's Edition I like playing the, the chapters are very interesting, but I have not been able to find any game cheats or hints to help get to the next chapter.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money!!!! Played a few minutes. To hard to find objects. I had to strain my eyes. So don't do the same. No purchase for me at all. You should think about that to.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Skip this one, it's a total waste Delving again in BFG's treasure trove in search for the pearl of a game I came across this one. Not my lucky day ! There is an awful lot of dialogs, all scripted, many veeeeery long, so much of it all I ended up skipping them as I played the demo. Not a loss really as I didn't find the storyline particularly interesting, and it develops far too slowly anyway. The music is extremely annoying and weird. Most graphics are blurry, the HO Scenes in particular as if they were enlargements of low res snapshots. Some HOs are not too too difficult to find, others are. One HO Scene is fiendish: you have to find 43 tiny pieces of stained glass followed by the reconstitution of a broken stained glass window, as a minigame, using... you guessed right.... the 43 bits in question. Small problem: you need to rotate these pieces by double clicking, but it didn't work And so ended my 1 hour trial. I was hoping the other minigames would give this game a sparkle of excitement. No way. I only saw two which were repeated over and over throughout the demo. As for the heroine, it would have been better not to show one than drawing her with that permanent stupid expression on her face. A game in which everything looks amateurish, which is apparently glitchy, and which doesn't contain anything that, for me, would justify a purchase even on the Daily Deal

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mostly Unrecognizable Hidden Object Loaded OK, but difficult to play. Cursor does not always register with the item. Sometimes have to click several times on an item to get it to register. Game does not save where you leave off. Have to exit when at the beginning of a new scene, after the mini puzzle is done. Awful HO’s. Often junk piles and items don’t look like the object you are to find. Could not have completed the game without the hint button. The image of Linda is awful. I couldn’t help it, but the minute I saw her, all I could see was one of those adult sex dolls that had clothes painted on her. And Tom looks like a vampire. Wouldn’t want him as a boyfriend. Perhaps that is intentional. The Bonus game is short, with just a few HO junk scenes. What I find curious is how this game managed to get a collectors edition status. I bought it for that reason without looking at the reviews. Others have probably done the same. This game was worse than all of the SE games I’ve played. I’ve come to trust the CE title. Is that foolish of me? I hope this was a fluke, and that the CE title was not given in order to get more sales. To be fair, Big Fish sells it only as SE. SPOILER ALERT. Following, are clues to some of the difficult spots. I couldn’t seem to get 3 stars into slots made for the 3 stars. I managed to get the sun and moon in, with many trials. Having read some readers comments, I positioned the stars almost ¼ in. down and to the low right of the slot, and got them in (several attempts). Same is true with the candle stick and the two clips around the painting in the church. Glass shards do not need to be rotated. Just place them as they are. With the note pieces, the right button would capture the paper, the left button rotated it. To open Tom suitcase, you have to place the red notes you found in his jacket to the center lower part of the suitcase. In another church, place the halos (in inventory) on the heads of the two paintings found on each side of the altar. Place the cross on the black tiny stick on top of altar, left. Place the gold cap (?) on top of the chalice on top of altar, right. All other problems can be found with the hint button.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Eye strain all the way. This is a bad game. Conversations are TLDR, have to click all them to scroll. Items are small and hard to find, sometimes hiding right behind the list of items needs to be found. If you pop it up, you will get items on the list one by one. Hard to see and way too much pop ups. Graphics are bad and low quality. The main character look like someone just goosed her and no animation of characters.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The Worst Big Fish Game I Have Ever Played! I always love most of BF's Games but this one was sooo disappointing. Before I purchased this game it seemed like it was going to be really awesome but boy was I wrong. It was so boring, the graphics where horrible, too much dialog and not enough play (honestly if I wanted to read instead of play this game I would have picked up one of my paranormal books), the plot was kinda lame. Sorry Big Fish but this one was so awful. I will start playing the trial version on every single game from now on before I buy!
