Spirit Soup: The Queensbury Curse is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice game, but way too short My reviews are all based on full gameplay. I bought this (or rather used a free game code) because I liked the old-style feel of the graphics and the overall simplicity of style. There are no hidden object scenes per se, rather several lists of items you are given to find. There are also ocassionaly items to collect in the scenes. The puzzles are challenging and the whole feel of this game is different to most of what is out there. There's also a bit of humour which you don't often get. It makes a refreshing change. However, I have one major criticism. This game is much too short! I'm not sure I would have bothered buying it had I known that. I reckon that it didn't take more than two hours to play the whole thing. I think that you should at least get 3 1/2 to 4 hours for a game. Beyond that, it you don't mind the length of a game I would still recommend this one if only for its change of pace.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Expections Not Met! I found the story line confusing; hints quickly recharged; game not challenging -- just relaxing to play.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay, low budget game. No bells or whistles here. This is a small-house production, as evidenced by the half-page of credits. The computer graphics are crude, the characters have no depth at all. The story is cobbled together. Gameplay is okay, kind of fun. I had a lot of trouble with the sailor's puzzle, which unfortunately is repeated three times. Not sure it's a reasonable puzzle, or if my mind just doesn't bend that way. Decent but not great game play. In short: if you get it, get it on sale.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A little fun, but very short game! I liked the game, but it was too short for me to spend so much money on it :(

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dead end and no help in sight This game was fun until about 2 hours into it I reached a dead end and there is not walkthrough or forum available for help. Every available scene's hint said there is no more I can do in this scene; search elsewhere. I spent another hour searching for a breakthrough but ended up stumpted and clueless. I wasted my money on this game.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fun, Too Short This is a good game that I'll keep for my kids, but I found it to be so short that the story didn't make sense. I won't be looking for the sequel.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't finish the game I quit playing this game finally, just out of sheer frustration. I tried everything I could think of, looked everywhere I could think of, clicked everywhere I could see, and still was unable to move forward in the game. There is a forum, but it's not very helpful. There is no walkthrough for the game. I really didn't like the art work for the game. It just seems kind of flat, with no excitement. So I gave up and quit playing. I definitely do not recommend this game!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A trial sized game I played the trial and liked it enough to buy it. After that hour though, the rest of the game was practically one type of puzzle in a few different places and then done. They knew just how far you could get in your hour trial and after that there is no more effort put into this game. Enjoy the trial but don't buy it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hilarious Story Line?? Nothing funny about the story line Unless you like to laugh at something pathetic Terrible Game Two things destroy it.. its so short if you are expert in puzzles You could probably finish it in the demo time period The game is one puzzle after another Nothing wrong with that Except the game is so very short Puzzles are easy to intermediate Second Issue is that the Story is terrible There really is no story The town is cursed you have to stop the curse You fetch ingredients for your grandma You locate a recipe Then you fetch a couple more ingredients Make spirit soup Pour it on the cursed areas Game over

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stuck I've been stuck for hours. No decent walkthrough. I've been stuck trying to get in the temple to get a piece of cloth needed. Hints everywhere say there is nothing to do.
