Weird Park: Broken Tune is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 154.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 31 Hidden Object Puzzles Fun at the Amusement Park. Everyone is gone but you and your Hops. If you don't like hops, you won't like this. It's old. I think from Oct 2011. The hints take along time. Your hops scene is used more than once. I Loved It. 31 hops, almost one after another. I have Windows 10 system and I had no problems. I liked the shooting range also. Skipped all puzzles were you had to fool and fool with it some more. You also have to wait a long time to skip. This was normal in 2011.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Weird and unique but excellent fun!!!! I was really impressed with the imagery and story-line of this game. Once you've played this game you'll want to buy the sequel: Weird Park - Scary Tales.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Game, Great Graphics, Creepy Story Wonderful game set in an abandoned amusement park with a very troubled past. You must find and rescue the missing reporter, while an ominous clown haunts your every move! Graphics are great. HOS are pretty easy and I liked that. You will return to each a few times. HOS are well lit. Someone else commented that some items were mislabeled, but I only noticed one. A flat file was called a nail file. Mini games are varied. Generally, not too hard, but fun. I did skip one (you can skip after so much time has elapsed.) Hints work in the HOS and in the game play. Hints recharge quickly, IMHO. There are some FROG scenes. There is no map, which would have been nice, but wasn't necessary. There are lots of areas to explore and nice carnival additions. (the popcorn machine, the fortune teller, etc) Just when I thought the game was over... You get transported to another dimension with significantly more game play. Overall, this is a wonderful game. I highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quirky, fun, satisfying This one will be put in my top five favorites. The graphics were great, puzzles and HO scenes were good and the story was interesting. There's a spooky little jester that pops up every now and then which added to the weird/creepy circus atmosphere. I enjoyed the last part of the game (I won't give it away here) but I will say it's a nice departure from the usual HO games where you basically stay in the same "setting". I will say this: If you have a marked phobia of clowns (especially the evil looking ones) it's probably best to stay away from this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally Enjoyed This Game Lots of Ho's, mini games good and plenty. So many areas to explore! Clear scenes, music was good and not a lot of chit chat. Really happy with length of game - I always read reviews when I'm trying a demo and find them very helpful. Thanks for that. This is my first review, just had to share!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Weird, yes, but much fun This game doesn't need another good review, but I enjoyed it so much, I had to say so. Quirky but fun. Not too hard, not too easy and I love the weirdness (very Alice in Wonderland strange.) I hate games with too much HOs, but these were kind of fun because of the scenes and they were a little bit different. The puzzles were interesting. Overall just a fun game for a rainy afternoon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice game with beautiful graphics! This creepy story comes with wonderful graphics! The HOS are not junk piles; the objects are easy to find. The puzzles are quite easy but interesting. It's more a HOPA than a HOG. You have a journal and no map; but despite a lot of to and fro, you won't get lost. You also have to find pieces of a record. The hint system shows you the way. The game is not very long; it took me a bit more than 2 hours. But with these graphics and sound, I had a pleasant time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun to play over and over again. No matter how many times I play this game, I always have just as much fun as the first time around. I love almost everything about it. The only improvements that I would suggest are having voiceovers for the imprisoned guy and the clown at the end. Both characters are animated with moving lips, yet we have to read what they're saying while they gesture about. We get to hear the sounds of the jester and the grunts of the clown when he makes his sudden appearances during the game, but when he's talking at the end we don't get to hear him? In my opinion, this is a major oversight that would have added some tension to the clown's speech at the conclusion. Another thing I would have liked is a better ending to the story. Without giving too much away, I would have liked to see the three puppets have a more lively ending, if you get my meaning. As for the game itself, I found it fun and the going to and fro like what you do in an adventure game was not bad at all. That's what an adventure game is supposed to be and the good thing about this one is that the areas are small enough so that you don't lose track of where you are. I found the brilliance in this game was in how you found the needed items and where you used them made you remember how to traverse the park and it was really easy to picture the layout in my mind due to all the travelling around I had to do. Everything made sense and followed a logical sequence. I never had to consult a walkthrough as the hint system did its job and the minigames, although easy in what you had to do with them, was based on logic or manipulation of objects. Some puzzles took longer to complete than others but there was always the handy skip feature when I got too impatient. The one hiccup I found was the game where you play the musical notes in sequence. No matter how many times I tried, the notes would play at random and not how I was playing them so I always have to skip this one. Perusing the forums later, I learned that this was a frequent complaint of others as well. I'm just surprised that no update has been written to fix this quirk. Other than this one quirky minigame along with the lack of voiceovers and a better ending, I enjoyed every other aspect of this fun game. I particularly liked the carousel with its various hidden pieces out in plain view. The first half of the game is great fun but it gets even better in the second half with its twisted dreamlike scenes. Contrary to the game's description, there's nothing scary about it but then I don't scare easily. I just have a lot of fun with it and I think you will too. As always, demo it first to see if it floats your boat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Near *PERFECT* Game!!! Subject Matter: Clowns & abandoned amusement park. Excellent creepy FUN! Storyline: Terrific, a sad, revenge story, but sprinkled with humor (via various newspaper clippings) Well done. Graphics: EXCELLENT! Well done mix of Gorgeous locations, with background motions (lights flashing, flowers in the breeze, etc.), interspersed with AWESOME Surprises (evil clown in the mirror, sinister mini-jester running thru the scene, etc.) Reminds me of those fun days of the early classics, like Phantasmagoria or 7th Guest/11th Hour. HOS: Excellent, all objects are of normal or large size, perfectly visible & reasonably named. Hint Button: Recharges quickly & works for ALL aspects of the game (HOS, Navigation, Puzzles, etc.) Puzzles: Sure a couple may seem familiar, but most of them are pretty imaginative, different & never too difficult. I especially liked how you found pieces of a record, then played it on an old victrola to open another dimension. Great stuff. Gameplay: While you traverse the absolutely beautiful scenes, you never get bored. All the scenes are interesting, as are the things to do within them. There are some real creepy objects & puzzles as well. All of them are logical. You almost always know what to do once you locate an object. Pacing & Placement: Everything in the game is well placed & well paced. For example, in one puzzle you must create a recipe, then carry it with you. Well not far from the cauldron is a clever water puzzle which yields a bottle, with which to carry the completed recipe. Challenging, but with almost no annoying backtracking or endless wandering. KUDOS!!! Atmosphere: I love mysterious goings-on. This game over delivers on expectation. Some examples include a mysterious cassette tape, creepy video tape, interaction with broken down amusement park rides (roller coaster, ferris wheel, etc), a couple of mannequins & best of all a version of the classic Harry Potter changing staircase. INCREDIBLE!!! Lastly, the balancing of the game was right on point. It was Always FUN. An upbeat mix of horror, fun colors & clowns. What could be better. And if I had to pick something negative, I would say while you do come in contact with one person, and it never really felt too lonely because it was so fun, I kind of wish there was at least one or two more PEOPLE to talk with in the game. For instance, they could have had you phone a friend back home via cell phone (with video chat). Or perhaps a detective could have visited you from time to time in the park. That small enhancement aside, this game is Absolutely PERFECT!!!!!
