Royal Detective: The Lord of Statues Collector's Edition is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 275.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Old Fun on Windows 10 I think this worked better on windows 10 than the one after it-Queen of Shadows. I found this game fun and entertaining. I like the traditional Hidden Objects Games and this has plenty of them. I think the statues are fun and the rooster funny. The map works really well. I'm glad I bought it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GOOD GAME IN A GOOD SERIES With 266 reviews and counting, there isn't much I can add to everything that has already been said about this game. This is a great game with all the right things expected in a CE. I played the casual mode and did not need any hints in the HOS. I did skip a couple of the puzzles, though, which kept me from winning one of the achievements. Either that, or I used a hint outside the HOS instead of using the strategy guide to find my way. I found all the collectibles fairly easily, but I did use the strategy guide to make sure I didn't miss any. A good, enjoyable. game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game In Brief***** + Bonus Content Review **** BASED ON COMPLETED GAME Last count, 262 people had posted their reviews for this game on Big Fish. So there really can’t be anything left to tell you that you haven’t heard before. Here are the high points for me about one of my top ten favourites of all time: *Exciting and breathtaking videos, full of spectacle, sound and activity. *Excellent graphics and sound track. Especially the ‘chimes’ music. *Delightful animations of unusual assistants and impressive bad guys. *Interesting and different story with hidden complexities. *Choose your own ending! My only complaints are with a draggy cursor (okay with system one but not as much fun), and an inventory panel that is not lockable. BONUS CONTENT REVIEW **** BONUS CHAPTER The main game ends satisfactorily. The bonus chapter carries on easily with either ending, and is not at all needed for either. This bonus was disappointing. After such a brilliant game, the chapter has only 1 old location and 4 new ones, 4 new HOPs and 4 new puzzles. It took me only 30 mins to complete, and even allowing that I skipped 2 puzzles, I only did so way after the skip became available. The story was a total nothing. Achievements did not continue through this chapter. GALLERY ITEMS I love Elephant’s wallpapers because they are actually designed, not just glorified screen shots. You get the necessary room on either side to have a couple of icons! The concept art is nice too, and you can save it. As well, there are replayable videos and music. . ACHIEVEMENTS & COLLECTIBLES There are 10 achievements, 5 story related, 5 accomplishments (some of these have levels). There are also collectibles, with their own ‘show case’. These are the 26 miniatures of various characters in this game and from other Elephant games. Excellent fun, each different. (And if you find you’re unable to close a close up screen, look for one there.) FAMOUS LAST WORDS Brilliant game, the other bonus content makes up for the offending bonus chapter, I’m thrilled to own this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One caveat away from brilliant… Well, as much as I am about to rave about this game, I must say the bonus chapter was fairly short and ended rather weakly. It did have different locations and a few pretty good puzzles. The main game has a conclusive enough ending; the bonus play does nothing to enhance it. The SE would be quite satisfying, IMHO. Now for the raves… This is a beautifully presented, well structured game with some very unique use of inventory items. It was truly enjoyable to play. Play in Hardcore, and this will be very much an adventure. Take notes, there are a lot of locations and tasks. There is a map that will transport you from place to place, but in Hardcore the map does not indicate where there are achievable objectives. Play in Casual or Advanced using the map, this game will be much more about the puzzles and the HOs, than the tasks, more an activity than a memory game. Either way, there is no denying how stunning this game is, visually, and in content. Except for one transition I thought was obscure, the game flowed comfortably along, aided by a captivating story. This was one of the more satisfying games I have played in recent weeks. I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a magnificent game! I'll make this short and sweet as others have probably said what I want to say about this game. I don't usually chime in with a revew, unless I think the game is really, really good. This game and the Eternal Journey: Atlantis... game are the best two games I've played, probably in the past year. The graphics were just spectacular, I thought. Usually I play games in 1024 x 768 mode, so as not to make the objects too small. But, once in a while, I would try this at 1080p, and man, the graphics and vibrant colors would just blow you away! Of course, the graphics in general are getting better with each new generation of games. But what else can I say? It's a fun game to play, challenging, and I love the interactive map which takes you straight to a location when you click on it, and also shows you were things need to be done. I wish most games were similar to this one. Just a fantastic piece of artwork, story, and programming. I don't know about the CE vs SE on this one, as I haven't played the bonus game yet, as far as value is concerned. But, I think I bought this CE on one of BFG's half price week-ends, and it was worth every cent and more! Plus, the game seemed fairly long for me. So grab this one, if you're looking for a beautiful, fun, challenging game to play. If you're anything like me, you won't be disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from There was only one thing that disappointed me When I played the demo I had to get this game but thought the Collector's Ed would be worth the money. It wasn't. It was a super short bonus game and it didn't seem to resolve anything but left me confused.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another winner This is another great game from Elephant with excellent graphics, nice storyline and some good puzzles. And, a bonus for me, the music fitted right in and I didn't have to turn it down/off! There have been plenty of other reviews, so I'll just say a few things. (Note, I played in the advanced mode, I really like it when games give you a choice). * Crisp graphics and very good animated sequences which really help to give the game character and help the story along * A very good story idea well carried through with the statues helping or hindering in some quite creative ways. I liked the idea of carrying a useful mining dwarf around with me. * The map gives you a hint of where to go if you're stuck, is beautifully drawn and enables you to jump from place to place. * The achievements! I liked the way these were presented and enjoyed collecting them and the figures. As with Surface, they had a bit of a sense of humour to them too. * Good gameplay -- you don't go back to any of the HO scenes, and these, though somewhat piles of junk are actually appropriate to their setting, so you get things that might be found in a chest, in a cupboard etc. * Although of course there are lots of locked doors you don't get the feeling as in some games that the developers have put the puzzles in somewhat randomly, but they have thought about why doors/gates etc should be shut and it makes sense. * Two endings! I would play it again anyway, but now I'll have to so I can find out what happens on the other choice. My only slight negative would be that the bonus play wasn't all that long, though I enjoyed it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blooming Marvelous!!! Oh what another delightful game to play, Elephant games are just getting better and better and just as good as ERS these days! What a delight this game is, the graphics are outstanding and the storyline is wonderful. The HOS were interactive and crisp and clear and of course the map being interactive is another bonus for me. The downside is the game is a bit shorter than i thought it would be, but the work and imagination that's put into this game more than makes up for that. Achievements are always a bonus for me and i enjoyed being on the lookout for miniatures which were quite easy to find. Fabulous game and one of my favourites :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Good, I Just Had Submit a Review! It was fun. It was different. I just loved having the Rooster, the Archer, and especially the Miner at my disposal. The Miner was comical. I am addicted to these games and I have never felt the need to review a game. And trust me I buy alot of games and I always by CE editions. But this playing this game for me, reminded me of the first HO game I ever played or purchased: "Puppet Show: Souls of the Innocent CE" because of how beautiful it was and how truly different ithe game play was. Sorry that this is not technical, hopefully my passion speaks for itself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OMG, best game ever! I was not very convinced with this game when I tried this on demo, the graphic is awesome but the mouse is draggish. I took a risk by buying the game during the CE sale a few weeks back, and boy, I was so happy that I did. This game is super amazing! I think this is one of the best games I have ever played, alongside MCF: 13 Skulls and Phantom of the Opera which are my top faves. This one, is so great in storyline, graphics, and I especially love the rooster! I didn't know there will be two different ending and I feel bad that I can't find out what happen if I choose the other one. I love it that the map is interactive, there are lots of places to explore and each is so wonderfully drawn. There's only one drawback, however: the CE bonus gameplay is very very short in my opinion. It should have been longer. Just that one point and this game will be flawless. Needless to say, this game is a must-buy, definitely.
