Eternal Journey: New Atlantis is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 177.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from one of the best games I've played this is by far one of the best games I've ever played, and is the best science fiction game by far.. great story line, graphics, sound, etc simply the best. it is a 1GB download which is why they were able to go mega on the effects. if you like sci fi games you can't do better then this. and even if you don't but want to see what really good graphics look like, try it out

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best HOG Ever This is one of the best HOG's I've ever played. Sometimes, it felt like I was playing one of the more expensive, epic and popular first person shooter games out there. It's got everything. Lush graphics, atmospheric sound effects and voice overs, riveting and well executed cinematics and cut scenes. Good storyline, strong believable characters and good game play. Good user interface. It's not too short and not too long and there's a satisfying, rewarding ending. I think if Goldilocks was at the three bears house, she would think this particular game was just right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't miss this game! I believe this game was released in 2012, but it's still one of my very favorites that I've played many times - for me, sort of like the "comfort food" of games - something familiar and likable when you want to kick back and relax. Nothing taxing here, just enjoyable. Since there are many different locations, the hint button is a great help to get around when you get lost. I agree with most of the reviews that it's nice to have a different story line other than fighting demons and dragons and wizards. This story has a wonderful supporting character which I won't reveal. Play the game. You'll love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get it! This was an awesome game - interesting story, better flow and more intuitive than many hidden object object games so I could remember oh yeah, I needed another button back there (or whatever) , good help when needed. Looks like theres a sequel coming - can't wait!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent game! It's a RELIEF to find a decent game that doesn't include "darkness", evil, death, ghosts, vampires, UGH! The story line was entertaining, and as I played, I didn't feel as if the creators were simply putting in silly fluff to make the game longer - the length was perfect, and every moment was a revelation. Also, although the tasks were challenging, they weren't "ridiculous" ... they fit into the story, and weren't merely random tasks to give the player something to do. Excellent game! They left room for a sequel ... does anyone know if there is one, and if so, what the name is?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought this Jan 2013 and just played it again March 2016 -still EXCELLENT This is an excellent game with an actual story line and it shows how ahead of it's time it was because 3+ years later it still beats many games out there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eternal Journey: New Atlantis SE This is one of the coolest sci fi games I have played in a long time. Probably because it is an older game released by one of my favorite devs, who are famous for this genre of game. The story begins far beneath the ocean's surface, the city of Atlantis has been discovered, Amrite Stone is an archaeologist who makes a fatal discovery. Thankfully, she is revived, cryogenically preserved, and sent on a new mission to explore Mars! It doesn't get much better than this! (actually, it does get better in the Collector's Edition) You are equipped with all kinds of high tech equipment, such as a transporter map. Even though this is the Standard Edition, you still get to collect 18 Digital Memory Cards which tells you useful information about the different equipment you discover and bios on the different characters. The Hidden Object Scenes are Interactive List finds, many of the items are hidden within several zoom in areas. The Mini Games are mostly simple puzzles requiring you to find the solution in the scenes first which are recorded in your journal, and then applying that solution to correctly solve the puzzles such as selecting buttons in the correct order or arranging tiles to the correct symbols. If you like sci fi, underwater, space themed games, this game won't disappoint, enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my all time faves Love the storyline - so different from all the others. Gameplay and mechanics work really well. Really wish they would make a sequel to this one.
