Web of Deceit: Black Widow Collector's Edition is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 69.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Deceit In This Game This game delivers!!! I have to say it is one of my top ten and I have played hundreds of these. I played the demo when it was first released and could not get into the story. I downloaded it on my Android recently and bam! I could not put it down. This game is engaging and has a great story. HOG's are a little too many for my liking. I loved the puzzles. Although some of them were tedious, I rarely skipped. I absolutely loved the bonus chapter. Wow, Blamgames read my mind. There is a transportable map pretty good considering when this was released. You do have to go through the journal to get to the map though, which was kind of pain. There is a SG which is awesome for mobile games. No glitches of any kind, no problems. This game is long and I love that. Especially when the game is good and keeps your interest during the game play. I loved this game so much I palyed it again after I finished it. Awesome job Blamgames!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SPIDERS EVERYWHERE WITH SPOT-ON TODAY'S STORY Three modes: casual, advanced and hardcore professional. Journal; interactive map. Mechanical spiders with live actors create a mysterious atmosphere that grabs your attention right away. Storyline was more interesting and unique than I thought it would be; and it’s spot-on today as bullying is a hot topic these days. Graphics are world class – usually the color palette is bluish cast for this type of story; here the colors are vibrant and worldly. Interactive HOS with useful hint system. Wide variety of puzzles with varying degrees of difficulty. Well thought-out story and gameplay. Not too much backtracking. Game will hold your interest throughout.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome! I played this one when it first out and never give a review. So I'm just say, I do really enjoy and having fun playing this game from beginning 'til the end. Love it! One of my favorite list games I ever played. Thank you Blam Games as developer you do make a good job! I hope the next sequel will be good too or even better!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Game for Arachnophiles As I absolutely love spiders, I really enjoyed this game. I bought the Collector's Edition and really glad I did because that part tells you how the little girl Morgana becomes the Black Widow in the main game. Her little spider is really cute. Anyway back to the main game. You are a detective and go to Andville where there has been a series of murders. Everywhere you look there is evidence of spiders, huge webs and people who have been cocooned. The mysterious lady called the Black Widow is responsible for all this. I especially liked the video scenes. The fight between a massive metal spider and a huge wasp on top of the radio tower was one of my favourites. The actors were a bit wooden and slow I thought. If you buy the C.E. you can look again at these cut scenes. There is also the usual wallpapers and music, screensavers and such. You can also replay the puzzles. I found some of the puzzles so tricky that even with cheating with the Strategy Guide. I still ended up skipping them. Some of them were too long and laborious for my taste. Still I think the game has some replay value. As you can use the three settings, Easy, Hard and Difficult as in most of these kind of games. I will reiterate what other Fishies have said not one for arachnophobes! Enjoy. Luv Cam

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Game! First off, I hate spiders, so I played the free trial in case it creeped me out, which it didn't, after all, it's a game. Like another reviewer, I was hooked after 30 minutes. I bought the Collector's Edition and love it. I was impressed with the graphics. Each scene is vivid and beautifully rendered. The overall mood is wonderfully errie and sinister. I love that if a puzzle is too hard, I can get hints, or skip it altogether. Game play is easy and help is always available. The strategy guide is nice to have in case you need/want to use it too and the journal is very useful. I didn't mind some of the characters dialogue being slow because I could skip it if I wanted to move on. I was very pleased with the entire storyline and the villainess was especially fun since she's so incredibly diabolical, intelligent, and beautiful. I haven't enjoyed a game like this in a long time. It reminded me of "Titanic-Adventure Out of Time" only on a much smaller scale. I don't want to reveal any details, but I really, really, REALLY want to see a sequel to this game, for obvious reasons the authors will understand. And let's see more of Morgana this time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Game and I hate Spiders LOL I just finished playing this game and the bonus content. The story line was awesome, graphics as well. The only thing about the game that annoyed me is whenever you click on something, even if you don't have what it needs, the text "i could use something here" came up. After a while it became redundant. Otherwise I loved the game. Bonus content really glued it all together. Mini games were good too. A game worth buying to all of you HOG addicts like me :) Happy Playing!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was fun! Love the graphics, good story line, some puzzles where easy and others a bit harder. Because of the many going back to previous scenes, it was nice to have a teleporter map. Like everyone else, the actors portraying the characters spoke too slow not normal speed, found it easier to just read the dialogue and hit the skip button once done reading. I also like the the fact that it had a nice balance of hos and puzzles. I would recommend this game, I played casual mode but I can see playing a harder mode would be a good challenge to those that play at expert level.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST GAME SINCE THE RAVENHEARST SERIES! OMG...I was SO impressed with the quality of this game; the graphics are so stunning and detailed, it's as if I was there, wandering the web covered streets of Andville, dodging that gorgeous but deadly woman in black and her 8 legged minions. I applaud the designers vision and artistry in this game. The story is unique, the characters fun, (I got a kick out of the bumbling firefighter# the mini games original, and the HO scenes had just enough challenge. The other reviewers go into more mechanics and detail, but I wanted to make sure it got 5 stars from me! This is definitely one of those games I will replay several times. I HIGHLY recommend it! I hate spiders, #but not as much as bees) but didn't mind the ones in this game. The absolutely gorgeous scenery, interesting objects and spooky atmosphere ease the fear! Definitely worth the price!!!! Thanks, BF! Something super awesome to tide me over until MCF in November!!! =-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A riviting game, perfect for a rainy Sunday ! This game was great. I was sucked in to the story from the very begining. I think spiders are very creepy but it did not bother me that they were a major player in the game. The story line was very well done and the bonus game was the perfect prequel to the game. I like it when the bonus game is a big part of the story, it makes the CE well worth it for me. The graphics were stunning. i found myself pausing to take in the scenery throughout. Music great, voice overs great. No compaints here. I played the whole game in one sitting and loved it all. I think all of the player should enjoy this game. thanks again BF, we are getting spoiled lately with great games. Yay for us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SUPERB GAME I was hooked right from the beginning. Very creepy tone to this game. The spiders make me squeamish but that is the fun part of this game. I feel like they can come out of the screen at any time and wrap me up in their cocoons!!. Just the fact this game is loaded with all kinds of bugs makes it fun because that what makes this game so unusual. Good story line, good graphics, loads of fun/different games. The only thing I do not like is the characters in the story...they talk too slow. They look good and are appropriate for each scene but I would like the dialogue to go faster. This is a great game if you want to be on the edge of your seat at all times. I know I am.
