Grim Tales: The Stone Queen Collector's Edition is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 87.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This game is way better than 99% of the games released after 2013! This was my third playthrough and I realized that I haven't reviewed it and recommended it. This game is a true gem that I will be playing every couple of years for the rest of my life. It is very lenghty with heaps of places to explore, and lots to do in each place. It has some challenging puzzles, a few that I had to skip, a good challenge game. The storyline is so original and awesome, you'll love it! You have to try it! :D

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic game I thought that I had found the perfect game in "Grim Tales: the Legacy," but I was wrong. This game is even more fun to play and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I liked it so much that I got the Collector's Edition. I will be buying the other Grim Tales C. E. also. What a super-fantastic series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it!!!! BUT, OH SOOO HARD!!!! This is a great game, difficult in hardcore mode!! I think this is may be one of the hardest game I have played so far; but I love a challenge!! (or either, I wasn't in the mood) You really have to use your head and figure out many things on your own. I had to walk away from the game, many times!! This is more of an adventure game than HO. Storyline is very good. VOs was great, as well. Puzzles were excellent, but difficult; I had to skip one and I NEVER skip puzzles!! Not many HOs and they were clean. The graphics are beautiful! Good interactive map, but no journal. No collectibles or achievements. Game is pretty long and the bonus is, as well! 3 modes of difficulty and no help in hardcore. If you like a challenge, with good puzzles; this is your game!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Graphics, Good Game, New Ideas Loved, loved, loved the graphics on this game. The things you had to do weren't always obvious and they came up with some new ideas I'd never seen before. When it started I thought OH NO I have seen this plot 1,000 times, but they surprised me. Fun new creatures and lots to do. You think the story is over ... but it starts up again! Great fun! First time I have played the bonus content in awhile because I liked the game that much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my favorites in recent history I like more adventure and less HOS and this game was perfect in that respect. Unlike others, I like having lots of stuff in inventory and having to figure out what to do next. That is part of the fun. Puzzles were a mix between hard and easy. I also like the fantasy story lines versus the horror ones. Enjoyed the bonus game play also which I thought was pretty rich.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's not grim when the amount of characters increases! The previous 3 in this series focused on one type of monster. This one has varied creatures of all sorts. This is a psychological visual trip! The real world is right next door to the fantasy one like uptown right next to downtown. Use the map to jump to places and you find yourself going from the human world to the Stone Queen world. The queen's world looks like a theme park. It's like going to have fun for awhile and leaving back on business. I can understand why some fans of Elephant are disappointed, but to me, this is their MOST ADVANCED WORK YET!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stone good Great story: the stone queen is ticked off and she is turning everyone in town into, you guessed it!, stones. Brandon wanders into town looking for gas, and has to stay to solve the mystery. Good characters, with VOS HOS, interactive Transport map Good puzzles, short skip Cool animals, especially the 3 headed dog Great little helper gnomes Excellent graphics Good length: 5.25 hours casual

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A New Grim Tales The "Stone Queen" is a new Grim Tales that does not seem to be continuation of the previous three games in the series. As is the case with this developer, the graphics are high-quality and the voice overs are excellent. Everything in this games is top-notch. Since I knew this would be a quality game, I purchased it outright without trying the demo and it does not disappoint. The storyline is very interesting and I can't wait to solve the mystery of "the Stone Queen". Although the game doesn't have achievements or morphing objects, the story, graphics, IHOS, mini puzzles, and interactive map make this a game worthy of the CE designation. Thanks to BFG for starting the new year with this high-quality CE. Kudos to the developer who I am sure will provide us with many more excellent games in 2013.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best one yet This sequel is so far the best in the series. There is plenty of things to do; it isnt short like many other games. The biggest plus for me was there was a map! The map made it so much easier when you had tor return to certain areas. There was a lot of areas to cover too. Brandon (the little boy and the baby from previous series) is now all grown up, injured, and is in love with a queen who can (and does) turns people into stone. Things go wrong when a greedy man comes in and shuts down the mines for his own use. The graphics were excellent. The music went well with the game. The little elf-like creature (like Dobey from Harry Potter movies) as well as the other creatures/characters were well made. The HOS scenes were easy for the most part, some items were a little hard to find, but were able to still be found. The puzzles ranged from easy to somewhat challenging, but none were impossible. The bonus play was well done. It was pretty good length, plenty of stuff to do. In the bonus play, the queen's evil brother escaped from the underground prison and has taken the queen captive. The HOS and puzzles in the bonus were also pretty easy with a few somewhat challenging ones. Overall, excellent game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is what I had hoped for. This game is what I had hoped for in the "Grim Tales" series. My grandmother and I both love this series. The artwork is exceptional and the story is very unique. Some puzzles were more challenging than others but the challenge was satisfying. The characters were very interesting and I loved the pet that you obtain. Not an overwhelming amount of HOS. I believe you never do one HOS more than once. The map was very helpful and I loved the fast travel. Although my map would sometimes show objectives that I had already completed especially on the bonus content. The music was a little lacking considering sometimes it wasn't there. I really like the journal feature in games and this time it wasn't there. But I don't think that took away from the game at all. I highly recommend any of the Grim Tales games.
