Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink Collector's Edition is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 96.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I want to know more about these characters This is an engaging game. I love the steampunk world Artifex Mundi has created for us - the idea that even the religion of the game world centers around science, as shown in the bonus chapter, amuses me greatly - and want to see more of it. Evangeline Glass and Dr. Ink may have weird names, but they're very likable characters and I want to know more about them, about their relationship and their past. They've clearly known each other since Evangeline was a child, but how are they connected? I love Matthew the mechanical bird too. The game itself is well constructed. The animation is smooth, the story is complex, and the voices are enjoyable. While the villain's motivations are something of a question mark, the whole thing was just really well done. Basically, I want this to be the first game of a new series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Steam Punk Adventure Well, I think we all know the steam punk genre has turned it's last loop. But this game- what a joy! Definitely challenging- pretty much two games in one . The puzzles definitely take some brain work. The imagery is top notch, but the characters are a bit robotic- who cares?! This a a great story, wonderful adventure game, and definitely challenging. Now, I don't like a lot of the new games, but I enjoyed this one very, very much!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A WIN all the way around! While I've seen the Steam Punk theme used in a good number of games, none have got it down quite so well as this one. The graphics are fantastic as well as the voice acting. The HO aspects of the game are (at least for the trial I played) fairly easy though not overly simplistic The story-line as well, is engaging and very different from the norm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long live steampunk Incredible game for those tired of fairy tales and horrifying stories. Every game element holds the highest mark. A lot of effort was put to bring out this masterpiece. Start playing to prove it for yourself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous game If you're sick of demented werewolves and bloody corpses and love beautiful graphics, daring adventure and an interesting storyline then this is the game for you. So excited to find an adventure/HO game that isn't dark and depressing but instead offers good, old-fashioned baddies and an immersive world full of wonder. I love the setting in what seems to be a Bavarian village, with German townsfolk in traditional garb and accents to boot. I enjoyed the mini-games as well, some of which I hadn't encountered before. The HO scenes were delightful too, and there were was a good balance between the two. The only minus (and this is a small one) was that the ending seemed rather abrupt and hurried, almost as if the developers ran out of time/money and had to cut it short. Still, this is only a minor bug and certainly doesn't detract from the game itself, which more than makes up for it. I hope to see more games like this on BF!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely delightful game! Long enough to pique my interest! Even though Clockwork Tales: Of Glass & Ink CE was not a very long game, it was long enough for me to enjoy it including the bonus game. The five-star is well-deserved! Great artwork, cutscenes, VOS, puzzles, HOS, music, you name it. And the storyline is about a scientist, Professor Ambrose Ink, who calls upon his protege, Evangeline Glass, to save him and the town of Hochwald from earthquakes brought on by egomaniacal Gerhard Barber. The bonus game gives you a prequel of how Professor Ink was captured. Anyway, I thought I was an expert but now I realize I'm not. Some of the puzzles, in my opinion, were tricky and I didn't get them all this time. So there you have it. I highly recommend this game. Great job Artifex Mundi!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Refreshing and different, even though one could wish for more The games graphics and sound are superb. Storyline is pleasant, at least it doesnt start in a naive or dull way some of the games do. System is very solid, riddles are not too difficult even on expert level. Game could be bit longer and one could expect a collectors edition to have more than just collectible steambugs. However, one has to say that the bugs themselves and their descriptions are amazing and very well prepared, connected to where they can be found in the game. I would very much like to see a longer, more challenging continuation of this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I should have waited a day for this 1/2 price sale but I couldn't LOL Others have described the game play very well and I usually just play the demo and then wait for a half price sale. This one I was enjoying it so much that I bought it anyway! Then, of course, it came on sale for 1/2 price today! Of the list on sale I have them all except the 3 TD & TM games :( Anyway, I am enjoying the game - not too difficult but not easy either. A great way to spend a Sunday. Try it you might like it and with the 1/2 price sale well worth the cost :) Enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great game Just finished the demo & immediately bought the game. Although I was dissappointed that the demo ended long before my "free" hour was up. I play a good number of games, but still consider myself a casual player. I often get frustrated by the difficulty of the puzzles & HOGs. For me in this game both had the perfect level of challenge. I loved the graphics, music & story-line-even though I am not really sure what steam punk is ;-).
