Twilight Phenomena: Strange Menagerie is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Different in a good way! I liked twist with the combination of animal DNA. You can also choose what help you can get or none at all in the custom mode. It's not always spelled out what to do next, which is why I liked it. The graphics are a bit pedestrian. But all in all it's a good game.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from almost at the end and I ran into a bug The game takes forever. It's bit over long and I got bored after a while. Then finally in the room with the palm tree I could not work the bottle no matter what I did -- so I think it's a blog and then of course there is no hint to help. Not bad though.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ugh, not another!! The second game in the Twilight Phenomena series by ERS ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3 levels of difficulties. I actually don't really like the first game in the series, the story just doesnt make sense. And actually I was reluctant to buy this one, but I had to, as my game coupon is about to expire, so I made the risky decision to buy this game since I know the dev: ERS. OK voiceovers and graphics, didn't expect much from this game dev., their trademark washed-out colors are infamous. Didn't like at all that they use animals as strange creatures, and portraying them in being locked or abused, definitely not my cup of tea. Cannot make the sense also on inventory items used for the most unconventional way, I mean, using a cactus needle to open up a door lock? how is that possible?? I am sure I am not buying any game in this series again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 3 1/2 stars for this one! Okay game! I would still recommend it. A little off the wall a bit but a fun game. HOS were muddy in some areas, junk piles in others; puzzles okay. Solving DNA findings, silhouettes and interactive inventory items were fun, really. So there was a variety. Hint button was good; map--so-so. But believe me I don't knock these games because whether the game is an A+ or C- a lot of work goes into these games and I commend the developers no matter what. I played the SE edition and I'm not sorry I bought it. I recommend it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from missed the mark This game was just too easy. Played in expert mode and it wasn't challenging at all. A bit on the short side. 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very different I tried the ce version a few weeks ago, but didn't like it quite enough to pay full price. When the se came out, I decided to buy it. This game was so off the wall it was comical. It seems to take place in Mexico, and the whole time I was playing it, I couldn't help but wonder if the developers were smoking something from Mexico when they put it together, lol. The premice of the game is DNA and docs playing God by combining animal and human DNA to create half man, half beast species. Some of the combinations were so funny. The graphics were very good, clear and colorful. The music was appropriate and enjoyable to a point, as it was on a loop and got old after a while. The game itself was long which I liked. The hint system was very good as well and filled pretty quickly. It took me about 6 hours to play this game which isn't too shabby for an se. The hos and games were ok too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Could have been much more This game had the potential of being really good; however, I had a great deal of difficulty getting into the almost nonexistent storyline and the mini games/puzzles were way too repetitive. Hindsight being 20/20, I would have saved my money instead of buying this one. To top it all off, the ending was absolutely terrible. You achieved the last task, told good job, and game over.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very Disapointed! LOVE ERS games, but this one missed the mark. played the sample, couldn't quite get into it but bought because it was an ERS. The story line is stupid and it seemed I was just wandering around doing things that didn't make much sense. Must have hit the hint button 50 times because I had NO IDEA what to do.
