Lost Lands: Dark Overlord Collector's Edition is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 67.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the CE price There is only one reason for me to buy CEs, extra game play. Sure the other things are nice, but I never look at them for the most part. This has a looong bonus and it is worth it! You won't need a snorkel to save the underwater kingdom. It's beautiful and if you enjoy the main game, you will love the bonus!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Masterpiece Wow! Can't believe I bought this a while ago and only got around to playing it! Beautiful, beautiful graphics. About 9 HOPS with 3 more in the bonus. Just gorgeous. Interesting from start to finish. Loved every minute, AND the bonus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CRYING THAT I DIDN'T PURCHASE COLLECTOR'S EDITION Here I am crying over here on the CE section because I've replayed this outstanding Lost Lands and other 5BN Games again and again. Do you think Customer Service would allow me to, say, do a trade? All the kidding aside, 5BN pays so much attention to detail that it's exhilarating. They are such the best kept secret on BFG. Move over other top developers and meet one of the best! No skimping or jerky movements. Colors are bold and spectacular without looking ostentatious or out-of-place. The meeting of worlds--humans, dwarves, wizards, you name it BN5 has blended these worlds so intricately and so creatively that gamers who've played the "save somebody you love" theme is completely reinvented and exciting. 5BN Games has presented more Lost Lands games and they've not only maintained their highest quality and excellence, they have actually honed and surpassed themselves! There's a little bit of all of their games in each one without having to play each in succession. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Review of a finished game AlI I can say is BRAVOE....This game is a 10 in my book...Every little detail..They took their time w/this game in every way. Move your cursor slow around each scene, and your hand will open up to pick up everything you were supposed to have. Loading is fast. Visually Beautiful .as well as Sound Quality. Extras in the CE. Worth every dime..The only bad thing I can say about this game is it ended...game on gamers...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Class - Beautiful - Excellent!! The series of Lost Lands games are exceptional!! Loved them! They are the most beautiful games I have seen in a long time. Such a pleasure to play well thought out, beautifully designed, challenging games. I hope there will be more games in this series!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great and long game Found myself enthralled with the story along with the mechanics. Our story is a familiar theme of a young mother who searches for her lost son inside a world of enchantments. Great Visual and Sound in this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lost Lands: Dark Overlord Very high quality graphics and excellent background music. I played most of the mini games. They were challenging but not overly so. I play to relax and don't want a lot of stuff I have to really think about. The HOS were varied and I liked that instead of just always a list. For me this was a 5 star game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bravo! I had missed these gems somehow until the 3rd in the series came out this week-I decided to play them as a trilogy, and I am so glad I did! Five-BN games has put a lot of effort and thought into these-they have created a whole world with a history and cohesive storyline! The controls are set so they can be customized as you like. The graphics are really beautiful. The story is interesting and keeps your attention. I can't praise the game enough!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it!!!!! This is a good one; so very interesting, and much fun!! Great story, great graphics, great puzzles. Journal, with tasks. Good map; needed for necessary movement.Lots of back and forth, but area is not large. Lots of good puzzles, with little HOs, which are much more clever than they used to be; more fun, as well. Game seems to be fairly long, not gory!! Bonus story is very good, as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Diamond In The Rough Now, here's a game I happened to look at and think hmm thats not for me but I needed to use some game credits and bought it later on and I'm so glad I did! What a diamond in the rough this is. I have never heard of this developer before but if this is what they are offering, I cannot wait for what else they have coming up! Game is a fantasy type adventure hidden object game. There are 3 different kinds of HOGs. Put the object back in the right place, find items from an interactive list and silhouette that you find and use within the scene until you pick up the last item. It was all very interactive and I liked the variety. I was never bored of the hogs like in some games. The puzzles were fun too. None of them were very challenging but there were a good variety and some I hadn't seen before. There are items to collect and they are a bit hard to find. I played with the map showing me nothing except where the collectors items were and even then I found them challenging. I love when developers have that option to see where they are on a map. I played the hardest mode and even though there were a few black bar hints, I was mostly on my own. The items to collect were 4 different collection sets of 8 objects. Snakes, pinecones, skulls and something else I can't remember. I liked finding the extras but even without them, I would have loved this game. Some games need extra fluff to be good but this one had the storyline and game play instead. The main game had about 6 chapters. I realized I was on chapter 4 after I had only played about 2 hours. I thought this game was going to be short because of that but the game was actually really long and had so many things to do. There were lots of things you left to venture farther in the game that you had to return to later. I love games like that. Games where you never return to destinations are too linear for me. You get a map after you enter the other world and it is very helpful. The graphics were extremely lifelike as well. Usually I don't care for fantasy games but this one was something special. Instead of having a bunch of cutesy characters, it had characters with personality and realness. There is a helper although for the longest time I didn't realize it was there because its an owl and stays in your inventory. I think I used it twice so it didn't bother me as much as other helpers. At first I thought it was a statue! LOL What I liked most about this game is something a bit weird. You get a dagger early on in the game and you get to use it MULTIPLE TIMES like all game instead of throwing it away like in other games and having to pick up 10 other ones along the way. I got to keep the dagger and use it as needed. I never understood why in other games you wouldn't keep a pocketknife or a handy tool. This game makes sense. The bonus chapter was fairly long as well and even though it started in the same place, it takes you away to a underwater world so different scenes. The bonus is not needed to understand the main game. The main game did end sufficiently but the bonus was fun nonetheless. Don't miss this gem of a game!
