Arizona Rose and the Pharaohs' Riddles is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT INLAY PUZZLE If you love the inlay grid puzzles, your going to love this one. I play it over and over. It is a long game, making it soooo worth the money. It gets to a 25x25 grid pretty fast. There are some hidden object games and some other types of puzzles. But mostly the grid. I highly recommend this game to everyone. Music isn't bad, but I put on my headphones and rock out! while working the puzzles. I think after your trial you will be hooked.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Starts out easy, but gets really HARD!! If you do the demo you will probably think that this is a simple game, but if you keep playing it gets much harder with 20x20 grids. I really enjoy playing this game, there are a LOT of levels!! I have been playing for several days and there is no end in sight!! I love it, very addicting!! The story is not that great, but I do not really care about that, I just like the puzzles!! If you like grid puzzles you will like this one!! I also like that it automatically has the different colors on one grid so you dont have to do all the colors separate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best of its type. Now that I have completed the game, I will review it. These puzzle games are my favorites. Lately, the others that have been released have had guessing at squares. That, to me is a big NO-NO! Both releases from this developer (Anawiki) have had no guessing at all! It did take a while to get to harder puzzles, but they are there. If you like these pic cross (or whatever they are called) puzzles, this game is a must (as was the first Arizona Rose). I'm already looking forward to the next release. I read a couple of negative reviews and really don't understand why. To say that Fantasy Mosaics is better is almost laughable (guessing in a majority of puzzles). You will not be disappointed with this one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Fine Arizona Rose! It's been quite a while since the last fine Arizona Rose game, so today's release is a most welcome one. I knew before I began to play the demo that I would not be disappointed...and I wasn't. This is a superb game of its type, maybe even the best yet. Everything about this game is very nicely done, and I could not find fault in any aspect. Excellent sharp graphics, pleasant ambient music, superb game play, and a good storyline. The sound effects whilst playing the boards are very muted, in keeping with the concentration that is required whilst playing. There are two modes: Casual and Hard. Thinking myself to be a seasoned player, I dived into Hard mode. But alas, I got stuck right from the outset. What threw me is that each square in the grid, instead of being unmarked as in other similar games, has a hieroglyphic on it, and consequently it was not clear which were the cells I was keeping and which were the ones I was crossing off. So immediately, I started again in casual mode and went through the tutorial. After having done that, it was clearer, and I advanced very well. There are over 170 levels and over 10 rewards to earn. Points are awarded as you play, with more given for better play. You are [generously] allowed 5 mistakes and 4 hints on each board. This may change as you advance in the game. Interspersed with the boards are mini puzzles and hidden object scenes. These were easy and of a minimal number in the demo, and fitted nicely into the game flow. No doubt there will be more difficult ones later on. Options include: Full screen Widescreen Custom cursor Adjustable music & sound volume Overall, another superb game in the genre, and one which is highly recommendable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Enjoyed game I enjoyed this version of Arizona Rose, but I missed the "jewel" puzzles you had to put together in the first Arizona Rose. Maybe the author will bring them back in the next Arizona Rose. Can't wait!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great mosaic game! I LOVE mosaic games and the Arizona Rose series is one of the best I've found. The colors in the pictures are so beautiful. The deduction level is good--I only have one small complaint--most of the puzzles are symmetric so you can guess with a high percentage of accuracy. I was disappoint in the "To Be Continued" ending but not enough that I won't replay this game more than once.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Harder Game I played the Arizona Rose game with the pirate theme and really enjoyed it. This one is similar in that it plays with the same rules with a few exceptions. Those exceptions make it more difficult, and at times frustrating to master. When you have a row or column with repeats, it doesn't indicate which one you solve when you manage to solve one of the combos. This means if you have a row that has several blocks of 2s, you can isolate a block and the game doesn't tell you where it falls , first, second, third etc. It takes longer to score the helper icons so you can use one to help you solve a whole column or row. The puzzles to get the helper icons are harder to solve. There is no helper Icon to allow you more misses. If you hit the number of errors allowed, you get booted and must start over. I'm not saying the game isn't fun, just that it is harder. The story is interesting. The tetris like game has been dropped and replaced by the pipeline game where you have to get a current from point A to B. The fit all the shapes into a mold seems harder to me. So go for it if you like this sort of game. It will definitely challenge you. I haven't been able to do this one with no errors like I did in the pirate adventure. Maybe if I used the hint buttons and the other icons more often...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love these puzzles I love these kind of puzzles. I find that yours are more logistic, If I keep looking I can find at least one row that makes sense to solve. I love the graphics. Keep up the good work.
