Mystery Case Files®: Fate's Carnival is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 132.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super long, challenging Loved it! As my usual, played on "custom" of only hints and skips. This game is quite large and plays long; 12 characters to rescue. Thoroughly enjoyed the difficulty of the "boards". I sooooo recommend this game!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5 Star Plus Without a doubt the best and most intriguing game I have ever played. The graphics are fantastic and the challenge unbelievable. The puzzles are different from all others. Kudos to the game developers. You will get your money's worth and it will keep you occupied for weeks as there are many different levels. A 5 Star plus rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 6 out of 5 stars. One of my top five games. Challenging. Superpuzzle. Very long. Currently I’m playing some of my old games. MCF - for sure - is, one of my top 3 series, nearly every game is excellent. Even the old HO-only games, were quite interesting to play. Remembering the challenge of the MCF games at that time -10 years ago - I can say, I‘ve improved my skills quite nice. Back then, Madam Fate with 18 superpuzzles was one of the toughest games. Now - even still interesting to play - it's not too difficult anymore. At least compared to Fate’s Carnival. This is certainly one of the most demanding, challenging games. One has to think very hard. And out of the box. And a lot. 10 very hard superpuzzle: I love best. You can choose between 5 difficulties, I’d played the second easiest and this was still tricky. In the second part, you’ve to discover and play 25 location, a lot of them about most of the game. That’s nice, because the findings are not obvious. You’ve many objects in your inventory and time will show, what is needed. Thus, not an easy going. The map is quite helpful, when you’re stuck. I used it sometimes and honestly: I skipped 2 puzzles. And needed once or twice help and round about 11:30 hours. Though I’ve played it already at the beginning of 2014. From my point of view are the current games mostly too easy and far too short. I’d like more games like this one. The story is creepy and dark, but this is because of Allister Dalimar. He is a dark one. He and his family. Again and again. Will they ever been stopped? If you like puzzles and are interested in using your brain: try this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best of the best - 2018 review If you are tired of the same old do yourself a favour and play this game. The demo should be enough to entice one and if you love puzzles and complain that they are short and too easy - well, JustTheFacts and pennmom36 reviews say it all. It is a long game - well worth the money especially on this bargain. There are 2 Madame Fate games - both excellent but this one is the 2nd - Madame returns from 2013. enjoy, matouks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So happy This is probably the best value SE I've bought in a long time. The game is like an adventure game in that it's long and takes some dedication to finish, but the emphasis is more with the tasks than the story. There are HO scenes, puzzles and super puzzles. I loved the super puzzles. Really good job!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my Favorite Games I really enjoyed this game, but what stood out for me were the mini games. They were hard, but I really enjoyed trying to figure them out. I had to get help sometimes, which usually frustrates me, but not this time. The entire game is challenging in a good way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy this game! You'll definitely get your money's worth! Longest game I've ever played and I still didn't want it to end! Some of the puzzles were very challenging and required time and thought to figure out, but they were lot of fun to work through and I couldn't wait to get back to them if I was interrupted. Those particular puzzles reminded me of the old mouse trap game where you have to build the solution and one thing affects another. Very satisfying and cool! Really loved this game, it is one of my new favorites. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best I've played Great game. It took me many hours to finish, and I go through these games fast. There were a lot of different mini games, some easy, some challenging! Definitely recommend. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kicking it Old School I loved this game - it was an exceptional length when you compare it to other games - even when I played it the second time around. Well worth paying for it! It was very reminiscent of games I played when I was younger - such as Monkey Island, Sam & Max, Day of the Tentacle, etc. It's not just HOD over and over again. If that's your thing, this game probably isn't for you. But this also gives you an overall bigger puzzle to solve. Similar to Love and Death: Bitten or Charlaine Harris: Dying for Daylight. I'd love to see more of these published - maybe even giving them their own genre! Conclusion: great value for money, excellent writing, clear graphics and SO much fun!
