Fierce Tales: Feline Sight is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fun game, but... This game is well produced and is fun to play. It's too bad the story is so awful with more holes than Swiss cheese. Who is the "bad" sister? The guy is going to get medicine for his wife, but he ends up working in a bookstore? A real mess. I know this is just a game, but you'd think the developers would take at least a shot at some authenticity. Mixed cultures abound. Roman columns and arches in a Native American (NA) setting. Mixed NA cultures - Mayan, Aztec, Inuit, you name it, it's there. What a mess. I guess if you ignore this mess, the game is OK.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just not an exciting time in Snowville. Now that I've played both the CE version AND the SE version, I'm afraid I don't like the game any better. But, my perspective of the things I disliked AND liked are a little different. If that makes any sense. The story opens with an old woman who is standing in your home. Your HOME, without knocking, with a sick cat she is leaving your character (who is a vet). Done. Who is the old woman and what is her place in the story? Already, I think I may have a clue and the game hasn't even started. The graphics were good - not great. Haven't found a dev yet who can "get" that nightime/dusk without that over-using the magic blue crayon. But I liked the snow and the snow leopards. The voice overs were ok. Not great. The lip syncing at the very beginning when the t.v. report was on was out of "sync" and it made the start of the game very disconcerting and "off". There are 4 levels of difficulty, including "custom". There are a LOT of changes to your game play you can make in "custom" mode, including opting out of the tutorial and disengaging the skip penalty. One reviewer in the CE said that couldn't be done but, yes, it can. And so can a multitude of other things. There is transportable map, which shows where you are and where tasks need to be completed. It actually shows SEVERAL areas where tasks need to be completed, I like that a lot. I did not see a journal. And, your being a vet, I was surprised that your "vet medicine box" was an Inventory item only used once. Missed a bet there DEVS. The HOGs were the same old, same old that we are used to seeing and I know there are more innovative ideas out there. Same with the mini games, same old, same old games. Nothing here to make this game more enjoyable. IMO, albeit the demo being extremely short, the story had no flow or cohesion, just a lot of things going on that were related only by the snow leopards but not a "story". For instance, why does the sheriff only show up once? Why do you have a walkie-talkie at the beginning of the game and it's never used during the demo? Why are you in dangerous scenes with snow leopards but never attacked? Even at the end of the demo when it SEEMS you are attacked, you aren't. I wanted to love this game as a CE but I didn't. I waited for the SE and hoped to "like" it more, but I really don't. I wanted to give it a stretch of 4 stars, but I can't. IMO, with the holidays coming up and the game choices probably being better, I can't even justify using a coupon for this game. That's really too bad. I own the first in this series, but after that, it went downhill progressively. Again, too bad. This is a great game for beginners. Experts, I think, will be disappointed in both the story AND the ease of the game play. I do encourage everyone to try the demo for yourself. After all, this is just MY interpretation of the game. I do, however, appreciate everyone who takes the time to read it. Thank you. Enjoy!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from So implausible! I love felines of any species and really wanted to like this game, but couldn't get beyond the lack of reason behind game actions. To start, the vet leaves--unrestricted--a sick cat in the same room as her pets, then gives it milk (which causes digestive upset in most cats) plus medicine in an open dish in the same area. She keeps her vet kit in the barn, not close at hand in the house, which she then uses only once. It's "eternal winter" with snow falling and there's a huge hole in the cabin window after the leopard attack, but there's no effort to repair or cover the window, just a comment "I hope that leopard won't bother me again." When not playing challenging strategy and/or TM games, I like fun, relaxing games, and I usually like games from Blam, but I wasn't interested in continuing to play this simplistic game, even with the Daily Deal.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nonsense This game had NO challenge, voiceovers were silly and story line made no sense AT ALL.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from BAD CAT i didn't even last long enough to finish the demo! I found this to be an awkwardly conceived and unintuitive game. At least one mini-game could not be skipped. I had to repeatedly use the hint button, and the constant black bar comments -- "Well, that didn't work." -- were extremely annoying even though I had turned them off in the custom options. Plus there is a short click-error penalty in the HOS. This is not a game I would ever buy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It is a Game I really love cats. We've had as many as six in our household at a time. I get the distinct feeling the developers of this game do not. The storyline leaves SO MUCH to be desired that I won't even go there. There is nothing in the story to make you care about the vet, animals, or even your character's own pets. Everything else about the demo and the game is very pedestrian. The mini-games were blah, HOPs average, and the rest of it totally forgettable. I Suggest you try this for yourself. Maybe you will find something I missed. In the meantime, I can't recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from One word: Lame I loved the first two Fierce Tales. This game dragged out what little story there was. I just didn't get drawn into the story line like the previous Fierce Tales. The game itself was so easy I had to increase the difficulty just to make it interesting, but all that really did was make the puzzles harder. I quickly deleted the game after finishing.
