Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great and creepy story! I loved this game! the ending cut scene was so suspenseful. like Matt is obviously becoming a vampire and the vampire lord didnt care that he was dying, but knew who she was and gave her a box. WHERE IS THE COLLECTOR'S EDITION OR NUMBER TWO FOR THIS GAME?????

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very creepy and fascinating This developer keeps getting better and better (I used to love a certain pachyderm, but no more). Starting with the millenium secrets series, going through the wonderful Hercules games, it now creates the best chiller games. The story flow is perfect. We get snippets of information here and there, until the complete story takes shape. The visuals are what creepy story visuals should be. There is no pointless going to and fro. Each episode has a few rooms, and when the episode ends, you do not go back to them. Each episode has its own challenge, and after that, you get more of the story. The minigames and HOS are good (I love the interactive part of the HOS). At the end, we still do not know the heroine's past, and she has gotten a glowing box. I hope we get a sequel quick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Good. Very different and a little scary. Interesting scenes and storyline. It's similar to the Siberia games. Great game to use your free coupon on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Creepy Game I found this game to be interesting and creepy; especially in the Dungeon. This game has some different features to it. Your HINT, SKIP and Main Menu icons are hidden in the upper portion of your screen. To get to them, just place your mouse pointer near the top of the screen. You can "Skip" HOS scenes. I have never played a game that has allowed me to do that. For those of you that do not like HOS, you can "skip" them. You still get the extra item either way. Most of the game features are the same as any other game: Inventory pops-up/down when you place your mouse pointer near the bottom of the screen. You can still go back a screen, by using the arrow near the bottom of the screen....when you place you mouse pointer near the center/bottom of the screen. You can exit "zoom" areas by clicking on the "X" or clicking outside of the "Zoom" area. The graphics are very clear and have a nice color. The characters have voices and there is some music. Try the game for yourself, you might like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TWO FANGS UP! Soooo, I don't know what all the early bad reviews are all about...I really liked this game. I played 40 mins before I gave in and bought it. Yeah, some of the graphics for the monsters are only so-so not so great, but the rest is pretty good and realistic. I liked the HOSs and the fact that if you need something you go find it and use it. Some games lately make you carry around some dumb item and expect you to remember to use it two hours later, as if. Plus you get to burn things and blow them up, SOLD.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A lot of fun to play! This is a super fun game, with the kind of "real" people I like to see moving around and the kind of mysterious and creepy places I like to visit in games. I'm hopeful for a sequel to find out more about Vivian! The vamps are horrible and the monsters are dangerous and the bats are plentiful!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Game! Based on the trial, I liked this game. It had a nice, smooth flow to it. The art work was well-done and it was just simple fun! I will buy it ASAP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from vamps galore i really enjoyed this game, the graphics were not the best ive seen but that is its only down fall, the storyline was entertaining and the puzzles were not very dificult but that didnt take anything away from a very good game. id recommend this game if you love vampires and a bit of mystery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Old Style Adventure Game With Lots of Excitement While on a trip with your fiancé Matt, your car is blocked by an obstacle in the road and when you exit the car you are attacked by a horrible beast. As you are desperately trying to escape you fall into old ruins – probably an old castle, and now you must find a way to find a way out and reunite with Matt. Be prepared to face danger and excitement as you meet with other obstacles and find your way to safety. Dracula’s Legacy is rather basic and offers only two modes of gameplay casual and advanced. Game settings are fairly minimal as well but the game did open automatically in widescreen. There are lip-synced voiceovers that at times seem stilted as someone is reading the text but overall they are not bad. The voiceovers were a bit of a surprise because at the beginning of the game there is no dialogue with Matt, only a bit of grunting as you run from the beast. The user interface is a bit different than usual and consists mostly of buttons that appear at the top of the screen. In many ways the game seems more like an old-style, large file adventure game. When it comes to tools, there really are none except those you find during your adventure. There is no map but there is a button in the user interface area that seems to highlight available areas when clicked. The HOPs seem minimal with items that are not too difficult to find but some interaction is required to obtain a few items. The puzzles also seem easy very early in the game and are fairly typical such as spin rings to complete a picture to open a door. Hopefully the puzzles will become more difficult as the game progresses. I don’t have any true phobias but did jump once or twice when I came upon a hissing snake or other creepy-crawlies. The beauty of this game is in its adventure as we try to make our way out of the ruins. Early on in the game we are warned by someone we meet that we need to escape before nightfall or we will be in even greater danger as the castle’s occupants awaken. Even though the game is not super polished it is what I consider a great game. The story and the style of the game grabbed me, and I knew within the first fifteen minutes of gameplay that Dracula’s Legacy is a game that I will love. Although I find this an excellent game, as always, try the demo to see if this is the type of adventure game you enjoy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Creepy is an understatement I am loving every loving this game immensely. The VO's are done really well and the game play is downright fun. You have two modes of play Casual and Advanced. Casual you have the sparkles and shorter hint time, and Advanced you have a longer hint time and no sparkles. But with the hint time, I didn't really see a difference between the two. You do quite a bit of exploring in this game which I really love. There is no gadgets to use or nothing like that. Story: You start of by seeing the couple driving down the road until they come up on this tree that's blocking their way. They get out of the car I guess to see if there is some other way to go. Out of nowhere a big wolf creature goes running after them. As they're running back to the car, she ends up falling into a hole and that's how they get separated. On her way to finding Matt she runs into a nice ghost who's willing to help her to get to the city to find Matt cause the ghost said that's where he is. Near the end of the demo she gives you the whole background of how she and Matt came about. Graphics: Absolutely awesome. Really done a nice job to enhance the spooky factor. Music: Creepy. Fits the game really well. It doesn't get overly excited like in some games. H0GS: I think I played around 3 or 4. You do more exploring than H0GS. They're the list type. Mini games: On the simple side which I love the change. Very nice ones and nice variety. Tanagram puzzle, turn the rings to get the image, pipe puzzle to unlock a lock to name a few. Hint system: Helps you really well outside the H0GS. I can't foresee at all getting lost. They also have another type of hint a button with a question mark and 3 arrows. Press on it and it will tell you also where you can go. Not sure if it is in Advanced Mode or not cause I didn't try. They said one of the buttons isn't in Advanced Mode. All in all a game I am totally looking forward to completing. Kudos to the team for a job well done. I highly recommend this game.
