Buy at your own risk
If you get this game get the guide or you will not have the help needed to get past page 7. No hints, no help, no fun. I would not recommend this game and am sorry I paid for it before I read the reviews.

Dire Grove sucks
there is no hints to help. what is with this game. i have played these types of games many times, yet i never played one as hard as this one, i feel i wasted my money.

I would not reccomend this game there is not enough help during the game if you get stuck and guide does not help.

Mystery Case Files: Dire Grove ? Strategy Guide
This is my first Big Fish Game purchase and I am truly disappointed in the lack of help given. I don't want it to be easy, but this is just not what I expected.

wish I had seen the reviews
I wish I had known you would need to purchase the guide to play this game or at least had seen the reviews that are based on others trying to play. . I saw the reviews on the game itself and purchased it based on that I am really upset that to play I now need to buy the guide. this is only the 2nd game I have purchased from Big Fish and am really sorry I bought this one. Probably will not spend anymore money on this game and will not finish it, due to lack of interactive help within the game itself.

Don't buy this for a laptop
I got stuck and there are no clues to get unstuck. The Strategy Guide cost 6.99. We have several Big Fish games for the ipad and they are just fine. There are other issues but this is not the place to complain about them. I would like my money back. I high bar ratings are because, if the game worked properly it would be rated excellent. Maybe the one for the ipad works better.

Mystery case files: Dire Grove
I like the whole story line but you get to a stage where you get nowhere and are thus forrced to buy the strategy guide. I don't think that is fair. The hints are few and far between. I move to all the places and there is no hint to guide you.

Dire Grove
For everyone who was complaining about the game being too difficult and forcing you to buy the strategy guide, that's just being lazy. The game is good. It has an atmosphere to it, the graphic designs are visually stunning and the game play is pretty decent. Everyone gets stuck at some point in a game, and there are plenty of people out there willing to write walk through's to help out other gamers. I rather enjoyed this game.Then again these kinds of games are my cup of tea.

a very nice game but difficult.
it was a great game and exellent movies and drawing. but it was way to difficult, luck that i could get help in the free strategy guide, because you shoud not be forsed to have to bye the strategy guide. sorry if my english writhing is incorrect, im not an english speeking girl:)))
