What casual gaming is all about!
Sometimes the challenge level of hidden object/puzzle games can get kind of intense. And sometimes all you want to do is have a good time and not resort to a walk-through because you have been looking at the same puzzle for an hour and getting growly about it. This game is very casual but a nice pleasant story line to follow. I had a great and relaxing time playing this game. I do hope this game series continues for a while. Finish time was little under 4 hours.

Enjoyable for all ages
I enjoyed playing this with my 9 year old and 4 year old. I found it challenging enough to hold my attention...yet not to hard for my 9 yr old to play on her own.

Not what I had hoped for..
This game was a bit of a disappointment. I thought perhaps it woukd be like the other fictions fixers: curse of oz, but it was just not as good and was VERY short. Was not worth the game credit I spent on it.
Don't get me wrong, the graphics were wonderful.. the voice overs were good, the story line rocked.. but somehow it just seemed to be missing something and was not really fun to play at all.
Also, it took me only 3 hours to complete it and that was including the time I racked up from using the skip button for a few puzzles. I think with each skip you got 10 minutes added onto your time so I would think took me about two hours to finish.
Unless you are a kid, you will not enjoy this one.

Fun without High Challenge
The visuals are lovely here, and the gameplay is varied and fun. However, it isn't a good game for hard-core adventure gamers looking for a challenge--the puzzles are straightforward and the game provides a lot of "sparkle-guidance." My 8-year-old loved playing it and didn't need much or any help. A good game when you aren't looking for a brain-workout.

Lewis Carroll would be impressed
Fiction Fixers I thought at the start was just a kids game, but as I got further into the game I found it quite enjoyable. The dialogue required a bit of reading and the voice overs were what you would expect from an Alice in Wonderland rendition. The plot is a typical A in W tale with the difference that the heros are trying to out-do the evil Illerati later known as Victor Vile and his devilish antics to try and ruin the age old story. The puzzles and mini games are many and varied with hardly any two the same. Bouncing lobsters, rotating key holes and many others to test your skills. The hidden objects range from standard hos some of which are rather challenging to gleaning objects from other locations and transferring into the game for more needed impements.
A typical kids game with a difference that will also hold the interest of the adults. A good buy.

Frustrating Whimsy
I love Alice in Wonderland and the graphics for this game are a great fit for the story. Whimsical, cartoonish and fun. The characters are adorable.
You follow Alice into Wonderland and help her fix problems caused by an Illiterati agent, who's trying to take magic from Wonderland for himself. This game is a good mix of puzzles, mini games and hidden object scenes.
Graphics: Cute and fun overall, however, too blurry and dark for most HO scenes. I hardly ever use hints and I had to repeatedly use them to find items. I don't enjoy my HO games with a side of eye strain.
Music: Fit with the story and didn't bother me at all. I hardly noticed it so it must have worked.
Length: It will take a few hours to play, maybe around 4 or 5 if you don't skip anything.
Challenge: Some of the puzzles and mini games are challenging; most are fairly simple. I did skip the lobster ocean game after my trampoline repeatedly got stuck and wouldn't move, letting the lobster fall on the ground, and thus restarting the level. No fun. The croquet game can be challenging as well. Just know that when you click the skip button, you only get to skip the course, not the whole mini game. Using a skip will add 10 minutes to your play time (in case you keep track of that).
Play Again: When I need a wonderland fix, but if I want a simple go to game, this won't be it. A little too frustrating with some of the games and the hard to see HO scenes.
This would be a great game for a child/tween. While some puzzles will pose a challenge, they will enjoy the game play and storyline.
Overall: C (I would purchase as a DD only)
