Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally Worth It! This game's story line and challenges all make sense. The collector edition bonus chapter is totally worth it. Never a boring moment. Great story, good games, and the bonus keeps giving....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A New Take on an Old Formula The horror genre is pretty thin these days, relying heavily on gore and jumpscares. A good HOG horror that manages to get creepy sometimes is even more rare, as this genre relies heavily on more-or-less static scenes that are more restrictive than the point-and-click adventure genre they're derived from. And yet, here we are with the first game of a horror HOG series that manages to keep things interesting. The game has a decent atmosphere, excellent SFX and music, and even adds a welcome sense of danger by allowing your character to "die". The story is one that's been rehashed over and over, yet it somehow feels different enough to keep things interesting. I won't say the voice acting's all that great, but it does better than a lot of games out there. The puzzles have a nice variety to them and, while none are too hard, they can hold your interest because you rarely get the same thing twice in a row. The Special Edition really outdoes itself, with bonus puzzles, extra achievements to earn outside of the main game, and access to the surprisingly large soundtrack. No game is perfect, but for the opener of a new horror HOIG series, this one really hits the ground running. It's well worth the extra few bucks to get the CE, and the series itself really helps fill in the void left by Artifex Mundi's departure from the genre.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Suger and spice ,not this girl. I don't usually get these type of games but since this was one of the free ones I thought I try it. Why is a little girl always creepier than a boy or an adult. To me anyway. The voice actress for the little girl was very good .Had me a little creeped out on some parts. A good long game that was for me at times not sure what to do but I do not get these disturbing type of games I don't care for them since most are just not very good . This one is very good though. Want a creepy game with a good story line try this one. The bonus game was ok. Being a little confusing for me to a point that it seemed like a different game maker. Who's that behind you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Creepiest Hidden Object Game! What a game! Fans of horror movies and psychological thrillers will enjoy playing Maze: Subject 360. The storyline unravels slowly and takes you to many unique locations, picking up clues and playing mini games along the way. There are plenty of creepy moments throughout. Occasionally I would get stuck in certain places when the mouse didn't turn into a magnifier or hand in order to guide me to the next task. I found myself aimlessly clicking to see if an object would apply before having to click for a hint. Other than that, I am very impressed by the game's story and art. Many hidden object games come and go out of my memory, but I'll never forget 'Subject 360!'

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very creepy like staying at the hotel in The Shining and meeting the Chucky doll Ok that was hands down the best creepy kid voice acting I've ever heard in my life! I recommend doing the bonus Christmas tree jigsaw puzzle just to get threatened by the little thing again. The soundtrack was beautifully done. The Hidden Object puzzles were fun and nicely designed and sometimes interactive. The other puzzles were thankfully not too challenging and I only had to skip twice. I also liked the storybook puzzles. The storyline was pretty interesting and kept me entertained for two days. I really liked having a bonus chapter from a different character's perspective that revealed more about the story. I also enjoyed the slight "choose your own adventure" style moments where you could choose an action to take. I recommend this one if you're looking for a game that's spooky, weird, intense, creepy and fun. I would love to see this demented kid in a sequel. I strongly recommend disregarding the reviews claiming it's not scary and decide carefully if you want to play. I personally didn't find it terrifying, but it's definitely a creepy thriller that gave me some anxiety that stayed with me after finishing the game and I had to drink a cup of camomile tea to recover. It is listed as a psychological thriller, but there are some horror elements like disturbing visuals with a little blood, gore, creepy dolls, skeletons and dead bodies. The maze is haunting and might make you feel panicked or claustrophobic. It's the game I wish I played on Halloween. Mad Head Games has made some of my all-time favorite Hidden Object games. Thank you so much for giving this game for free and encouraging staying at home and social distancing to reduce the spread of COVID-19!
