See what our Beta testers had to say:

“I like this series and think this episode is the best yet. Although I do not always like little helpers, I have always been fond of the little scarecrow character. This newest game in the series is also packed with things to do and interact with at every scene. Great job on keeping the charm and atmosphere of the series while enhancing the gameplay and visuals.”  - Kevin, beta tester

“Love the game so far. Can't wait to see what happens next! Simply lovely graphics and wonderful story line so far. Totally sucked me in and would not let go!”  - Aleska, beta tester

League of Light: The Gatherer Collector's Edition is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 46.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun and addicting game I got this game while it was free (Play Apart Together promotion), and I have to say it's super well put together and addicting to play. In fact, this game inspired me to purchase the other LoL games in the series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kept me intrigued until the end Outstanding graphics, story line, everything. Wonderful.. In the bonus it said that there was objects to be found but I found nothing, No owls, morphing items, puzzles pieces, statues etc. nothing. Other wise it was a Very Intriguing game. Never a dull moment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If i could give 10 stars, i would!!! There are almost no words to describe, what a great pleasure it is to play a game from Mariaglorum. They are all excellent and this also is. I bought it without even using the trial, as i know, i do get high quality from this developer which makes my heart sing! These games are so extremely well built that you almost never need the hint-button, as gameplay is smooth and this give so much pleasure. And the graphics... don't get me started on them, they are more than gorgeous... and this game has this nice twist with a scenary with a ship too - and the cute little helper - who really is cute... i just wish, Mariaglorum had a facebook-page, then i could write them all the times, how much i love their games. They are unique and great and perfectly built.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Throwback to the Good Ones! Great little game! It reminds me of the games from a few years back---the ones with mid-level mini-games, the ones we still replay. The storyline isn't especially noteworthy, but the hidden object games are each a bit different. Most important, the game isn't a mess of confusion that requires constant use of the Hint button. League of Light is definitely a series I will continue to buy. More like this would be well received.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent game In my opinion a really excellent game, Mariaglorum did a good job. From the first moment your attention is kept by the story and atmosphere: graphics are dark, but very detailed with excellent environment sound (rain, birds etc). Strange things are going on in town and you have to find out who is behind all this. The little scarecrow helper (already appeared in Wicked Harvest) comes back - and you are going to have some funny moments with him. Very nice mini games. I highly recommend League of Light, the Gatherer CE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Game I normally just review graphics and game execution rather than plot or story. That said, this is a beautifully done game. Graphics are more towards the detail and quality of a few years ago (that's a good thing!) I am about 1/2 way through the purchased game and I'm really liking it. I'm hoping this is the beginning of a move away from the "moving cut-outs" and way too many pencil drawings of recent games on BFG. For me, the cut-scenes move the story forward and build excitement, so when the quality of those are poor, games lose my interest quickly. Thankfully, this one is very well-done in that area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Series! So this is the fourth game in the league of light series and I am delighted with the game. It is actually a sequel to their second game wicked harvest. So if you haven't played that one you can still figure this one out as it's pretty straight forward with the story but if you played the wicked harvest first you have more backstory for you to go on. There are four levels of difficulty to choose from casual, experience, masterful and custom. You also get to choose your gender and unlike some of the games out there which ever gender you choose actually has a voice over dialog. Although I have to say the female gender's voice sounds a lot like the woman who voices Nancy in the Nancy Drew games but that could just be me. Speaking of the sound this game's music is great. There is a section where it begins to thunder and it was so realistic to me that I actually thought it was raining and thundering out by me and I only realized it was the game when I took off my headphones. There was one part of the game when a character was speaking and it was very light and had a echo to the voice but I wasn't sure if that was supposed to be like that because of where the character was position from you or if that was just a bad recording. The game has a great mix of hidden object's and puzzles they start off easy but most of these games do . A quick run down of the demo is you come to the town to help a father and son but as you get there you find out someone is impersonating you and you can't get in to the town. Mistaken identity happens and you wind up in jail and you have to find a way to break out, basic story so far but it gets better. You get a helper during the demo and it's a super cute baby scarecrow (I wish I had one). You also need to keep a look out for hidden owl's in each scene to help you finish some of your mosaic pieces for a puzzle in the extra's section. The extra's for the game included an obvious bonus chapter. A collection area (this is different from the owl's that you look for), music, wallpaper, concept art, and achievements. In the achievement section you will find the mosaic puzzle along with an achievement that requires you to take a quiz to see if you where paying attention to the game. Which I think is awesome and they tend to do that in this series. All and all I love the game and the series and I'm off to go buy this one ;-) hope you guys enjoy it too but if you haven't played the series before I would start with the first one Dark Omens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will be one of favorite,as "Wicked Harvest" I've played Wicked Harvest many times and this will be the same-one of my favorites! Thank you, Mariaglorium! I loved the beautiful graphics, the almost continuous music which lends to the mood of the game. There is a great story and storytelling with voiceovers using chapters through pictures.I'm so glad my little scarcrow helper is back. Finally, I enjoy the list hos better than other types, some thing I seldom see any more.Too bad developers have pretty much left those of use who prefer list hos and little helpers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well-desgined and FUN game! Hooray... So, I don't this game is lacking anything at all, to be honest! It's really-really fun to play, it makes use of all the potential items you have to gather and combine, it has a slightly different take on the mini HOGs and to top it all, its story is actually well thought out and draws you in. I wouldn't mind having a longer bonus story to complete, duration-wise, but all in all, this was truly FUN and the game-play reminded me kinda of a adventure game, rather than "just" a HOG one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this game i love all the leagues of light because its relaxing. it may have some things that people don't like but it is still a relaxing game. all games don't have to be perfect to be a good game. if you dissect a game of course youre going to find something wrong with it. overall its a great game.
