The Myth Seekers: The Legacy of Vulcan Collector's Edition is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from ~~A ROMAN MYTHOLOGY MYSTERY YOU MUST EXPERIENCE!~~ In the first episode, The Legacy of Vulcan you play Amelia who works for the Myth Seekers agency. Journey to Italy where an ancient Vesuvian Codex helps you uncover a two thousand year old mystery that revolves around the Roman God, Vulcan and stop the evil Bellona Conti from enacting her scheme with catastrophic consequences. Travel to Rome, Pompeii and other beautiful real life destinations on your mission and come face-to-face with four mythological figures and their powerful artifacts. The Goddess Maia and her Cornucopia, The God Mars and his Helm (Helmet) Goddess Venus and her Tiara, and the God Janus and his Key. You need all of these items to aid you along the adventure as you encounter unexpected dangers! This game is a must-buy for me. It has a great plot, fantastic hidden object scenes and challenging puzzles. I give it 5 stars for it's original concept and imaginative creativity! Casual gamers of every level and lovers of ancient mythology will enjoy every moment of gameplay. Cheers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a good game It's been a long time since I hadn't play such a good game. Mini games need to think carefully, the story line is interesting and make sense and graphics are nice too. Thanks to the developers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Historical with Italian Kitties and Roman Dieties The setting is really good and well drawn, nice to look at and interact with. I loved the friendly feral cats. My favourite feature of the story, itself was all the incredible details of items created by or for the gods and goddesses and their specific qualities and gifts. These things can all be made up and I will still find them fantastic to read about and play with. I think all the detail in the story makes it better than most, as do the cats in the cat scenes. I also liked when the gods would come out in disguise pretending to be plain folk to work mischief. Mars is beautiful. The other deities need better polish at least. Game play is really good. I haven't finished playing but the challenge level is just right. It has kept me guessing at times but there seems to always be a clear logical connection between the unfinished and its answer. That is what makes a game good. Everything works smoothly. I would have liked a screen saver with some of the little cats walking around outside at night. Nice to have the morphing objects! These are perfect, too. I kind of like them to be worth looking at when their found.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from i was waiting for it my type of game ! A high-quality one with a good storyline about Roman mythology and archaeology at the time of Mussolini. No gimmicks nor strange things out of place here, there is some magic with divine artefacts but also much logic involved, that made the plot immersive. Beautiful graphics, and good audios. We visit Rome, Capri and several places of Italy, caves , temples and volcanoes, including a short journey in the past before Pompeii disaster. The mini-games are pleasant to solve and the hidden objects scenes beautiful. This game is not too long (others would have prolong gameplay time with lots of useless fillings and tasks) nevertheless it has a correct duration and is not difficult. Highly recommanded.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was ready for adventure Based on the Completed game with bonus content 4 Chapters + Bonus We are in 1929. I was crazy for the cats in the town. The mythical beings and the magical items. How often do you see a cyclops? I liked that she was rewarded for good deeds. I didn't have a problem with the art. I think they made the gods stand out. I think every thing was nice artwise. I think the extras are shy. Only 13 morphs. But better morphs than no morphs. Only 15 collectibles. The replay of 8 hops and 8 mini-games. Seems like small numbers to me. In the achievements they have Meta game items that only pictures the five items of the gods that you used. They also have a book that pictures the 13 morphs. I did like the 9 pretty plates from the achievements. The indicator was good and served for both collectibles and morphs but you didn't know which one. The morphs seemed senitive. I had to click several times on it after I saw it change for it to register. The bonus chapter is what happen afterwards. I liked the story but I thought the gameplay was harder. I didn't know why I would do some things. Overall I loved the game. I'd like to see what they come up with next time. I didn't have any problems with this game. The game is data rich at 1.4 Gs. Bonus content-8 concept art, 8 backgrounds, 6 characters. In achievements-Meta game items, morphs and 15 collectibles on a mural. No info. Replay 6 cutscenes, 8 hops and 8 mini-games.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great story! I am really enjoying the story in this game! It is interesting and engaging. Overall, the game looks beautiful and has some challenge to it, but the story is what keeps me playing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Something a little bit different After playing the free trial, I literally cannot wait for pay day to buy the full game. I love the feel of the game, so much so that I felt the need to write this review (which I don't do very often). It provides something a little bit different from other games of this genre. The visuals are crisp and lovely and the storyline narrative engages you with its old-school feel. The controls have a logical feel and the puzzles are difficult without seeming impossible. I can't wait to see how the story progresses!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ONE OF THE BEST GAMES FOR 2017 COMES TO BFG 4 Chapters Plus a Bonus Chapter – Strategy Guide 61 Pages OVERVIEW: Return to 1929 Rome, Italy. Play Amelia, part of the Myth Seekers. You are called into action when a fellow member, Phillip Miller vanishes. He was searching for Vulcan’s hammer, trying to locate it before Mussolini. The power of the hammer is immense, having belong to Vulcan himself. Before his disappearance, he was in possession of the Vesuvian Code, which is somehow tied to this hammer. In a great cloak-and-dagger game, find yourself in the aftermath of a full-screen earthquake (watch your screen shimmy and shake) trying to locate the code and working against time to keep Mussolini from getting Vulcan’s hammer. This is a true cat-and-mouse thriller with a plentitude of cats throughout the scenes. However, like most cats, they are very independent and will not help you -at all! MECHANICS: This game will appeal to all levels of gamers, those who love suspense, and/or those who are interested in Roman mythology. The gaming script is well-written. The pace is excellent. This story has more twists and turns than the mountain roads of Italy. The graphics are beautiful and well-depict the Italian countryside. There eighteen achievements – nine which are skilled based and nine which are story-based. You collect twelve pictures of Roman gods and goddesses. There are thirteen morphing objects as well. You can also replay some HOP scenes and puzzles. I have been awaiting this game and it was an automatic purchase. META POWERS!!! Your helper in this game are five METAPOWERS! In the beta you receive the first one, a cornucopia. You should be able to defend yourself throughout the game with these handy dandy items. HOP SCENES: There are only two in the demo of this game. One of these is a silhouette in which you locate items. However, the other is a new style of HOP scene! Instead of searching for items, you interact with the scene until you get the inventory item. I have seen variations of this in other games, but never one which is solely interactive. It is beautifully designed. PUZZLES: The puzzles are all easy or moderately difficult. There are quite a few storybook sequences. My only slight complaint is that the Roman myths concerning Vulcan and then the Vesta Virgins, are a little too much. A great deal of time is spent in expounding on these two tales. FAVORITE PUZZLE I did like a tangram puzzle in which you must restore a picture by placing tangram pieces in place. However, the background is a complete picture and the tangrams blend in so well with the background, they are difficult to see. LEVELS: Casual, Advanced, Expert, Custom Hints in HOP scenes: 5 to 60 seconds. Hints in the game: 5 to 90 seconds Skips: 5 to 120 seconds EXTRAS: Map is provided as you play the game 18 Achievements – 9 each of story-based and skill-based. Collect 15 Gods and Goddesses 13 Morphing objects HERE ARE THE DETAILS (SPOILERS) FOR THOSE WANT MORE INFORMATION ON THE HOP SCENES AND PUZZLES IN SEQUENCE HOP SCENES: A. Interactive scene. Relatively new. Not exactly a HOP scene nor a puzzle. Click are items and use them within a scene to locate a doorknob. B. Silhouette. PUZZLES: (1) Easy 2) Moderate difficulty (3) Difficult (4) Challenging A. Switch puzzle. Switch books to recreate a scene. 3X Rating: They increase in difficulty B. Storybook puzzle. Rotate tiles to learn the story about Vulcan. Rating: 1 C. Assembly puzzle. According to a diagram – set a table Rating: 1 D. Assembly puzzle. Sort and place items with like items. E. Connection puzzle. Lead a fireball through a maze without crossing lines along the way. Rating: 2 F. Sequence puzzle. Replicate a sequence on a door as per a written code. Pushing one buttons affects the others. Rating: 2 G. Two-part. (1) Slider. Slide 3 rings to create an image. (2) Switch puzzle. Switch rings to match up with their tokens. Rating: 2 Very creative. Rating: 2 H. Zap the Cyclops. Manual Dexterity game. Align two beams to center on the eye of a cyclops. Rating: 2 I. Maze puzzle. Move a marble through a maze. Rating: 2 J. Jigsaw puzzle. Create a fresco by manipulating jigsaw pieces, rotating them and placing them in the proper location. Rating: 2 K. Variation of a tangram puzzle. Move pieces to restore a picture. I found it difficult to move the pieces and use them as they blended too much into the picture. Rating: 2
