“This is an excellent game. All the components come together for a very enjoyable game experience. I usually turn the sound off, but I did enjoy the music, it was heroic and suspenseful as needed. The visuals were amazing and game play was just my speed. I would definitely recommend and will be watching for this game to come out for purchase.”  - Jack, Beta Tester

Living Legends: Uninvited Guests Collector's Edition is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 51.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely a 5 ***** Game I just finished this game (CE + Bonus) and absolutely loved it. This is my 4th in this series starting with Wrath of the Beast and this one in MHO is the best so far. Some puzzles were tricky but not impossible. I liked the fact that there were no arcacde style puzzles. As an older person my reflexes are not up to that anymore and I hate skipping. I never use hints and always try to get all the achievements. Others have done a great job of reviewing the actual game play so I'll just add that if you have enjoyed this series you will absolutely like this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I HAVE TO SAY THIS IS THE BEST GAME I HAVE PLAYED!!! Yes, This is the BEST game I have played from BF in quite a while. 4 Friends has done what no other Dev has done lately. The HOP's are different than any we have seen lately as are the puzzles. The imagination in the game is fantastic. The graphics are excellent. The story line keeps you involved. The fairy tale aspect is super and engaging. It is also a long game well worth the price of the CE with morphing objects and collectables. You will not regret purchasing this game. At least try the Demo and decide for yourself. Have fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pure joy to play I haven't enjoyed a game this much in years. The story had such a lovely ending. The mini-games were just hard enough. The graphics were very pleasing, and of course the theme music of the Living Legends series is always hauntingly beautiful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well, bless my soul-STONES! What an awesome game! 4Friends Games, bravo! You deserve a big hand! I completed the main game and am now playing the bonus game. What a game! What flow, imagination, beautiful scenes, great storyline. I'm a romantic at heart and just fell in love with this game. One little editing error was the word month which should have read 'months' (plural), but no matter, I'm still rating this game 5 stars. It is well-deserved! It's a 'must purchase' game. I love collecting two owls in each scene, plus a morphing object that can be tricky at times. I love the map, the graphics are stunning, game-play is top notch. Voiceovers are fantastic, the music is wonderful. The main game was not very long but that is neither here or there because you will most definitely enjoy playing this game. It's smart--full of fun--flows so smoothly. I enjoyed searching for the soulstones and piecing them together with the magic mirror. HOPS were fabulous. Mini-games were not hard but some were thought-provoking. Leo is a handsome character and Beatrix and Clara are lovely. The graphics are extremely pleasing to the eye. Yes, there is romance, jealousy, revenge, but was void of that dark, gloomy, dreariness in many of the games I've played. This game will not disappoint, and I highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WHAT A BEAUTY, EVEN WITH A BEAST!!! My review short and sweet! EXCELLENT rendition of Beauty and the Beast, only with a sordid twist, based on the demo. You've been invited to your Cousin Leo's Wedding, that goes awry, of course, that's the Beauty of HOGames. While trying to save bleeding victims and saving people, you just have to stop along the way, to sew a quilt and make cookies...just being facetious!..but that's the satire part of these games. Okay, I was totally engaged, especially admiring the scenes along the way... Awesome story, Incredible graphics!! Truly a Beauty!! Very interactive, and never a dull moment! It's a BUY!! My Hats off to the Developers!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best In The Series So Far I was fortunate enough to Beta this one and I ended my review with "Hope you can keep this up", and they didn't - it actually got better! For one thing, it isn't Beauty and The Beast at all, really, although it certainly looked like it at first. It turned out to be a pretty tight little mystery as well with an ending that was both logical and surprising. Pros: the graphics, as we have come to expect from this Dev, were gorgeous. Smooth game play, puzzles that could get a little challenging now and then even for experienced players. Excellent writing, excellent voice acting, characters that were not the cookie-cutter caricatures we've been seeing too much of lately. Cons: mandatory female POV that was probably unnecessary but only a little cloying. Why couldn't the player simply be The Cousin? The mystery solution felt a bit grafted on but as I mentioned, perfectly logical. Overall, a very solid entry in the best month we've had at Big Fish in quite a while. A game that keeps getting better as it goes along instead of stalling is an indicator of quality development. More of this, please!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best HOG in a long time! I am usually not a big fan of HOGs, but no other new game looked interesting. Because this game had excellent ratings, I decided to try it out. It's great! I couldn't stop playing. It has a solid balance of mini games, clues, challenge and story . The mini games were original and not simple repeats from previous games. They were also the right amount of challenge. Drives me nuts when a HOG is just mini game after mini game and they're either impossible or redundant. I'm also usually not into stories. Most of the time I find them uninteresting, I actually followed and enjoyed this one and was pleasantly surprised. The designers and engineers used substantial creativity to go after fun and challenge. I sure got my money's worth. Thanks for a super fun game!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ~~LIVING LEGENDS 5 IS ONE OF THIS YEARS BEST!!!~~ Wow! 4Friends has another incredible edition to the Living Legends franchise. You are Kate Petite, an invited guest on your way to a beautiful wedding in a castle on a mountaintop. Unfortunately, you’re running behind, but it works in your favor! As you make your way to see your cousin, the groom, you suspect something is amiss, and begin to find clues that confirm your suspicions. All is not what it seems: Beware! In this editor's choice edition an air of mystery begins to unfold before you even get to take the transport to the castle. You begin to suspect that some monkey business is going on. Clues lead you to believe that danger lurks close by. Guests are disappearing and the castle is wrought with peril. You run across a character wielding a crossbow and he fills you in on what’s going on: There’s a monster in the castle and he’s holding everyone hostage. You feel like saying, “So…there’s not going to be a wedding…?” but you decide that the hunter with eyes ablaze probably wouldn’t appreciate it. So you decide to assist him and figure out how to defeat the beast and get the castle and hostages back. And by the way, where is your cousin? The graphics in Living Legends: Uninvited Guests are lovely. A majestic castle is set upon a mountaintop while a waterfall cascades down the side into a river. Details like glowing eyes, mist, and smoke all add to the wonderful effects. It’s these minute details that pull you in – the scars on the face of the hunter, etching in the leather arm bands, grooves in the horns of the beast, and more. Each scene is filled with rich colors, either muted or bright, depending on the lighting. The ambiance is beautiful – you feel as though you’ve stepped into a fairytale. Flowing capes, velvet jackets, leather wristbands, cloth-draped tents all are reminiscent of a renaissance setting. Add a few roses, a talking mirror, and a ferocious creature in the castle and suddenly you feel a little like you’ve been transported to a scene from “Beauty and the Beast.” Although this seems to be a little darker and the tale is spun differently, it still feels like you’ve stepped into a mythological story – and you are the heroine that needs to save the day before it’s too late. Dramatic music – somewhat similar to the “Mission Impossible” theme plays softly in the background. While soothing, it also has that beat that lets you know you really need to keep moving. There are plenty of hidden objects in Living Legends: Uninvited Guests, and a whole lot to find and redeposit before you can even step foot in the castle. That’s OK – you get to step inside a mysterious tent and meet one of the characters anyway. You’ll need some help – along with a talking mirror – to make your way to face the dangerous castle, fantastical creatures, and mysterious beast that’s behind it all. There’s also a few cute squirrels on your side, there to help you out. Things are ready to stop you, so those hidden objects are important to find to perhaps open a door or arm yourself. Different creatures roam about and sometimes things animate – so watch out! Find a morphing object in each scene – it’s easy to forget with all that’s going on. You’ll also need to collect owls as part of your mission – each time you happen upon a new scene, the indicator to the left of the screen will let you know how many are there. Living Legends: Uninvited Guests is a great hidden objects game filled with mystery. It’s a beautifully crafted game with gorgeous settings and detail. Get lost in this fairytale by becoming the hero and saving the day!!! Cheers

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does this set a new precedent for Hidden Object Games? I have been on a game hiatus for several years. I still remember when the first Ravenhurst game came out. It set a benchmark for engaging story and play. I'm not usually a fan of fantasy type games but this game is breathtaking. I don't know if there are similar - no, just as good - games as this, but this to me is a new level of excellence. I notice games in recent years are more about engaging to find items rather than many hidden object scenes. It doesn't matter with this game, in fact I'm slowing down the play so it won't end!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best adventure of the year! Perhaps it's the "Beauty and the Beast" them that contributes to its popularity, but this Collector's Edition should be bought for the bonus story... things come full circle. A standard edition shouldn't be released because of that alone.
