Labyrinths of the World: A Dangerous Game Collector's Edition is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor little boy...and what he had to do to stop his Dad from killing !!! This is a very exciting game to play...you will encounter Trolls, the Elven race and Dragons while playing !!! The game starts out with a very sick young man in a bed...and he's telling his father that he's scared !!! You and your friend Christine are in Greece doing some exploring when you come across a glowing stone where they eventually discover a board game...I tell her not to roll the dice but she does anyways...silly girl...because that's when all our troubles start. As you meander and fight your way through the game you will encounter 3 different races...Trolls...the Elven race...and Dragons...each one has some chores for you to do before letting you pass !!! You will encounter lots of puzzles but mainly HOP's which are very creative...they are very unique and offer a challenge or two during your travels !!! There are many trials and tribulations that you need to go through while playing this magnificent game !!! The story in this game is enchanting and it captures your heart and soul from beginning to the very end. I cant say enough good things about the artists that put this together and the music is so fitting to the game. Whoever wrote this story needs honorable mention...as I read through each scene I could not stop...I just had to know what was next on the agenda !!! I highly doubt anybody will be disappointed with this game...its so very well done in every aspect !!! This is a magical game that I think everyone should have at least one in their library and I know you'll enjoy !!! I highly recommend this game !!! Have fun all !!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Let the Game begin! You collect, based on your glowing menu, artifacts, cards, and gold nuggets. This game has so much detail that it wins you quickly! Plus, if offers a good 7-8 hours of beautiful gameplay and cute artwork. A definite 4,5!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What would you do for your son? I think it's a magical story of a father wanting to save his son and for that touch of magic and fantasy with talking dragons, elf's, and a twist on trolls ... I highly recommend, but keep in mind you must play the game through to get the full effect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pulled me in better than any game in years I haven't reviewed many games, but this one comes as close to perfection as any game I've played in a long time. I can't remember the last time a game pulled me in and didn't let me stop. I have no idea how I missed this series and publisher, but I'm definitely going to take a look at their other games. I love puzzles, and am thoroughly bored with standard HO's, so I was pleasantly surprised to be able to play decent puzzles on "hard" mode. (NOTE: Even on hard mode, these puzzles are only moderately tough. I found the puzzles in Medium Detective to be harder). The HO's also held my interest, since there were quite a variety of them, and they often contained puzzle elements. The collectables were great, with cards that explained the characters you met and a room you could furnish by buying furniture with "gold nuggets" you would find along the way. It was also quite good about letting you know if you had found all the collectables in an area, a feature that is on my "must have" list after playing so many where I would miss something, and not be able to get back to it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best game so far in this series I've always loved this series and look forward to new additions. This was by far the best (so far). Engaging storyline... even if it did reek of a "Jumanji" rip-off. But it was engaging, nevertheless. I felt bad for the villain and felt worse for the reasons behind his actions. The graphics were beautiful and colorful. The voiceovers were very well done. The characters were wonderful (especially the dragons!). I really didn't want the story to end! Luckily, it was a fairly long game that continued brilliantly with the bonus game at the end. Definitely worth the price of a CE. The HOPs were challenging, but not impossible. The puzzles were a mixed bag. Some were hard, some were VERY easy. I have to admit that I did skip one of them, as I didn't understand what I was suppose to do and the guide didn't help. Overall, a fun game with lots to do, lots of action and re-playability. I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ELVES, DRAGONS AND TROLLS! 3 of my favorite magical characters! i just love this one ... the mini games and HOs are pretty typical, but the storyline, characters and gameplay is excellent ... i would have liked more music throughout, however ... one of the best i've played in a while ... even though i had to play it on the MAC side as Domini games just don't work on my windows 10 ... regardless ... BRAVO!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Try .. it is worth it !!! There is a bit of Jumanji and the Elves came from The Lord of the Rings, but all together a beautiful game. Played the trial and for me it is a winner. Lovely storyline, well made up characters, bright colours and stunning art work. Nicely done Hop's , which can be played as Match 3 games. Good puzzles , where you can choose between hard and easy mode. To collect during the game are : artefacts, gold nuggets and cards. For sure a game for all levels and ages.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE GAME OF THREE WORLDS A vacation in Greece with your best friend Christine, it just doesn't get any better than this! After a quick tour, the two of you decide to meander through the Sanctuary of Apollo, the site of the ancient Oracle in Delphi. In no time at all, Christine's curiosity gets the best of her when she discovers a hidden cache within the ruins. After a brief lapse of judgement, the dynamic duo discover what appears to be a board game, but this is no ordinary game, this is A Dangerous Game! (:don't roll those dice,Christine, please don't roll those dice, too late, zap!:) I know that a lot of people don't care for this series, but I really love the story lines they come up with. (;and this one would make Robin Williams proud;) For the most part, they are pretty original, and they choose locations that are real, which is a unique concept, and many of these locations are surrounded with conspiracy theories. A Domini Games Collector's Edition never skimps on the bling either. There are collectible Notes from previous pawns of the game, hidden Artifacts, and lost Deck Cards that give you insight on the characters you meet throughout this wicked game of survival. There are also Gold Nuggets to discover, and can be used to purchase virtual items for a virtual room. There are icons on the inventory bar that light up when one of the collectibles are nearby, and you can click to enable alerts on the interactive map as well. The Hidden Object Scenes are varied, the scenes are clear and bright, and are located in interesting locations. There are Interactive List finds, Silhouetted Shape finds, and Multiple finds, as well as several smaller Zoom Zone HOP's available. You can opt to play a Match 3 game instead of the HOP's. The Mini Games are in abundance, and most are available with an Easy or Hard difficulty mode, which is an awesome feature in my opinion, because you can choose the mode you want on each individual game. There is an option on the Custom Settings page to select either Easy or Hard game modes, but I'm not sure how this works. I didn't select either one, and I was given this option on each game, so I'm wondering if you choose either Easy or Hard on the custom setting page, if you then don't get to choose the mode on each game? Here are some brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo: 1) Use directional arrows to align the blue tokens so they match the pattern shown. 2) Swap puzzle strips to recreate the image. 3) Light up all points of light from beginning to end without using the same line twice. 4) Choose 3 icons that relate to each character. 5) Use directional arrows to allow each color coded head to drop to its matching colored body at the bottom. 6) Choose the color and then select the puzzle sections to color that must be adjacent to one another. Then click on the sections that need the color removed to match the sample shown. 7) Scan the area to reveal symbols and select the correct symbols in the order shown. 8) Repeat the sequence of flashing eyes by choosing the leaves corresponding to the statue's eyes. 9) Use directional arrows to move the token to the end, if a token passes over a colored cell, the token will teleport to that colors space.
