The Unseen Fears: Outlive Collector's Edition is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 29.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trial: Reality Show: The Good. The Bad. The Ugly! Good introduction that pulled me into the game. I liked the modern approach and somewhat different theme versus the typical fairy tale or macabre story line. This game provides hope for a change in some of our appreciated great developers’ mindsets to explore different themed story lines. Graphics are a bit on the bright side but didn’t distract from the game. Sounds and music were fine. Humans had great voice overs, excellent design/development, great scenes. Hints were great. Hidden Object game items were clear and detailed, interactive and enjoyable. Not a fan of Mini Games, but I actually enjoyed some and liked that a few offered a different approach. I will purchase this game, but I suggest give it a test run and try out the nice option of “trial.”

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fans of Survivor will love this game! I Loved this game! I thoroughly enjoyed the heck out of this game! I don't normally purchase the CE edition of games unless I think they are going to be very good and I felt that way about this game so with the sale I purchased it and I do not regret it at all! I'm really not sure of the low reviews from most who didn't even play the game but I played the entire game, the bonus game, and the other mini bonus game and I thought it was all great fun. The game progresses and plays like every other game we have here on BF but the story was really fun and different. It's basically a bit of a rift on the show survivor, someone with a broken heart finds what they think is an immunity idol but in the end, it turns out she unleashes a very old very baddddddddddd evil entity. Your job if you choose to take the case is to flush this demon out and lock him away again forever! I love the locations they are all regular everyday modern environments and jungle locals. I love being in regular modern, everyday settings instead of the same old same old, overly colored fantasy lands, or dark dreary, broken down, ugly, bug infested environments which we see a lot of. I wish we had more games like this. Many games lately have bored me so it takes me days sometimes weeks to finish a game, this game I started yesterday and finished today, I just didn't want to stop playing The mini-games are not really my thing but I found I played and enjoyed at least half of the ones in this game, the hidden object scenes were fun and varied, the music was appropriate for each setting and the locals as I stated before were really nice. The best part was the story you find out little by little what the story is and it becomes clearer and clearer the more you play, many games you lose the thread of the story if there ever really was one, not this game you know what you are doing and why you are doing it. You get things in your inventory and you use them within a reasonable time frame. You don't drag junk with you the entire game! I truly find it shocking and very hard to believe anyone would give this game a one star especially after all the actual duds we've been given this past year. I highly recommend this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Experts should play this on Hardcore or Advanced I played the whole game, Bonus chapter and Hidden chapter. I found it enjoyable and the puzzles relaxed. Just the way I like it. I counted 18 hops in the main game and 4 in the Bonus chapter. They have some new type hops that are like graphic novels. There are more hops in the later chapters. Some lists which I love, are used twice and I Loved how pretty they were. My favorite one is in the jungle and has a orange frog. This is a fanasy game so if you want it true to life this isn't for you. You have a shapeshifter, wise man, like a voodo woman and evil spirit. If your not into this, this isn't for you. Enjoyed collecting 72 masks. A nice number. I think that is two per scene and they are in the bonus chapter also. Some are easier than others. I had to use a magnfier on a few. You can go back and get the ones you missed but it's not real easy. You have to collect all of them to unlock the Hidden Chapter which is hops and jjigsaw related and very short. The bonus chapter takes place 2 months before our main story. I liked the throwback to another of their games. Whispered Secrets: Forgotten Sins was on their pinball machine. The art deco decor in the beginning is wonderful. The jungle is beautiful and the pet hummingbird is great. It's not your pet. The emeralds are the wrong shade of green. The light green are peridot. A bird in the jungle kept saying bob white over and over softly. There is a boombox and frig in a hut. Do they do this to keep it interesting? Or is it just gameland? They had like three matching in all the whole chapters, and I think they could have a lot more. Some in the right order, rune matching symbols, maze, loved the curse/antidote puzzle, baggage control puzzle, the claw machine and just all the fun one that you use your brain for. In my opinion, you use your brain for all the games on BFG. I bought this game without trying it first. I loved the first one in this series. It was a gamble but it worked for me this time. Quote " Stay indoors and avoid watching TV. I don't like to know much of the story line before I play and I skip reading them in other reviews. I think BFG has enough info for the story line for my taste. I only include info that I would like to know in my review. Main game+ Bonus Chapter+ Hidden Chapter. 5 Chapters. Achievements, 32 Movies, 8 Music, 10 Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art. Replay 15 Hops and 16 Mini-games.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from UNSEEN FEARS: OUTLIVE CE WHAT A GAME RIDE! Going from movie studio to jungle scenes and back again was incredible. The HOP puzzles and the "slide scenes" find with placements were GREAT! HAVING A BONUS GAME AND A FINALE GAME made buying this "collectors edition game" absolutely worthwhile. Generally, I enjoy the BF GAMES, this one was just outstanding!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and fun I absolutely loved this game -- I didn't have to think too hard (which is handy right after the holidays :)) and the graphics and gameplay were superb. I don't understand the negative reviews at all, and I'm looking forward to the next in this series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great game I don't understand all the negative reviews. This game is new and fresh. It has some really different HO styles and the story is intriguing. I particularly liked finding the object silhouettes in different segments; when you replace some another segment might open up for you to search; you slide back and forth with a slide button at the bottom of the screen. I have never seen this before....I love it when something actually new comes up! The story is really outside the box, which is refreshing. Give this a try; don't take the bad reviews at face value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can see you.... Welcome to Outlive – the survival show! A reality show with a special: the participants fight for their lives on a deserted island. The main part is over by now and the season finale is about to be broadcasted from the studio in reality show format with the winner present: Fleur. When you enter the Outlive Fan Bar at LA, all guests are eagerly waiting for the start of the show and their eyes are focused on the big TV screen above the bar. You can get some information on the show and your drink, then the show starts. But the interview with Fleur is interrupted by a crash, the TV screen bursts and a radiation emanates from behind it on all watchers in the bar. They are hypnotized and paralyzed at the same time. You are not, as you play as Nathaniel, well known from your first adventure in Amsterdam, where your psychic abilities came handy in solving a case of ritualistic murders. Due to those abilities you are immune to the strange radiation. After managing to switch off the power, the radiation stops but the bartender and the others had collapsed, their life force has been literally sucked out. What now? Your first objective has to be the studio, where the show was broadcasted. The intro has already shown, there is someone or something, wanting revenge. In your investigations you use your special ability to see, what is hidden by magic. You don’t need glasses or another device, you only have to touch your tattoo. So you ‘find’ the studio: the scenery arises out of nowhere, so to speak, the studio, the streets, a fountain on an previously empty square. The transition from the hidden to the revealed happens smoothly, like a scene change in a movie. So the use of the tattoo to see behind the curtain is no additional task but adds to the fast paced flow of the plot. HO scenes are variable and creative, puzzles not very challenging, though quite solid. Dialogues have a choice of reaction on your side. I don’t think your choice will influence further action decisively. Language is used here as an additional entertaining feature. Dry comments, such as ‘Time, to get to the bottom of this television caper’, almost bring a sense of more or less black humour into the story. As in the first game of the series, we have the main game plus two bonus chapters. It is a refreshing variation of the theme ‘investigator of the supernatural’.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outlive an exiting Game I love the games of grandma. They are not too heavy and you can play with ease. Well, the story seems a bit confusing at the beginning but then develops only really later. The graphics I find very well also the animation of the characters. This game got completely through and can only say I like it.
