Archimedes: Eureka! Collector's Edition is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 29.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun and Challenging I've grown to love TM games, through the years, but I've found that the newer games are typically much easier than their predecessors. So, I was truly delighted to have found this game. It is challenging (requires math and logic skills), but you can play beyond the timer (as long as you want) on each level, and, best of all, there are a massive amount of levels when compared to recent TM games! The graphics are crisp, with beautiful colors. The story-line is a little odd (some major plot holes and/or jumping around), but I loved the narrator's voice and enthusiasm enough to not want to skip the cut-scenes and actually want a little more story. Once you get to about the 20th level (for me, at least), you're probably going to need to replay the level in order to get 3 gold stars (if that's your goal - again, you can play each level with no time penalty). There is a strategy guide, as well. I'm still working on getting 3 stars on certain levels without having to look at the guide, yet. Will see how long that lasts, lol. Overall, I love this game and highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 100 levels !!!! First of all, please excuse my poor english. There are 100 levels in this game... Fantastic ! Many thanks developer ! I played a lot of TM games during the last years. I like challenging games, and my pleasure now is to beat the developer's records. This game is the most challenging TM game I played in a while ! I had to use my brain and to restart some levels many times to beat the developer's records, and that's exactly what I am expecting from this sort of game. (I beat all the records except 3 of them which resisted me despite extensive trials) There are some perfectible details, (especially the way to demolish buildings), but I really like this game. I hope there will be another game in this new series, with the same level of difficulty, and 100 levels too !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Archimedes Rules - Literally! My favorite mathematician finally comes into his own. This game is definitely a timed strategy game. To get 3 stars on all levels can be quite challenging and you have to think and rethink how you do things. There is a strategy guide for those who use them, but I prefer to do things on my own, which makes the game lots more fun. And then after making three stars on all the levels, you can go back and attempt to beat the developer's records, which is even more fun. The graphics are great, the game play is very fluid, and I found nothing amiss. I always turn the music down on such games because I find it disturbs my thinking, but I absolutely loved the game. I thought it stimulating and challenging and the best I've seen in the past couple of years as far as new, challenging and worth the money in play time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you love Royal Envoy! This feels like a very high quality Royal Envoy copy -- in the best way possible! Similar gameplay and similar challenges, in that it's not just about accumulating resources as quickly as possible but in choosing the right strategy of which kind of buildings in which order to achieve the goals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The more I play, the more I like it Time management is my favorite genre and I like games that are challenging and require multiple plays to get 3 stars. This is definitely that game. It's nice to have the guide within the game instead of finding walkthroughs online. The instructions help you get 3 stars, though I sometimes find other ways work best for me. There are also many levels, making this game a really good value. Hope there's a sequel!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a Strategy Game As my Title states, this IS a Strategy Game, not really a TM Game. Graphics are crisp and clear Controls are fairly responsive Storyline is cute Muted the Sound, so can't really comment Level of challenge is Excellent. Caution: Had to play almost every level a minimum of twice, to figure out what was needed and then develop a Strategy. One can get 3 Stars on every Level. It just takes effort, trying different strategies, and in my case, some cussing (oops). Didn't mind the extra clicking on the Home or Facility Buttons, as many games of the Genre have that feature. You can queue up actions, which is a MUST for me. Another note: Carefully read the comments provided during the Game. They give Hints that can be used later on. One example is: Demo an existing Building to get Money back. I like the challenge of this, and will be purchasing If you aren't into intense Strategy, this may not be your cup of tea. It may be very frustrating for those new to the Genre. Give it a try. Just put on your thinking and patience caps first :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best one in a long time 100 levels of increasing difficulty in a good pace. Many have to be replayed to achieve 2, let alone 3 stars. It's been a long time since I've done little else but try to beat level after level this way. Good, easy gameplay, lovely graphics. Good old fashioned, non 3-D TM game. Awesome. Thank you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Archimedes: Eureka! Love the game and the difficulty, would like to use the strategy guide everyone is talking about, but I can't find it in my collectors edition. Very disappointing and I have several levels I can't get all my stars on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from you have to get used to it In the beginning it seems to be boring and much to easy - but one level after the other it will be more harder and more interessting! Nice Game and a little bit different then usual
