Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Story and graphics are first class

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Sentinel and His Sister To Save Earth Based on the finished game and bonus material The Last Beyond was in Nov.2016. We waited for another one and this one is Great but a little short. 4 Chapters+ Bonus. It has quite a bit of extras and the magic number is 29. 29 flying saucers swirls. 29 morphs in scene. 29 Treasure hunt items. There is also 19 morphs in the hops. I missed one saucer swirl and I went to the collectibles and picked it up, which opened up the treasure hunt and when I finished the treasure hunt it open the Ultimate hops which I can play again. The music is pleasant and you can replay 10. You can replay 19 hops but it only had 4 wallpapers. Wanted the hops morph in the guide but wasn't. My favorite detail was the robots. The scenes are real nice. I liked the story. The bonus chapter was fun with the America Indian and pyramid theme with robot Orin. Too many puzzles in the bonus chapter. I liked how the bonus ended. Want more of this story next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THIS GAME SAILED BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS! It’s been a while since I have reviewed a game, so I wanted to start back again with this spectacular game! Mad Head always delivers on this science fiction series, and this one takes the cake! Although the level of challenge in this game was too easy for my taste, I am still rating this game five stars because the game kept me engaged and entertained the entire time I was playing. I prefer to organize my thoughts and opinions into a pros and cons chart, please note that my preferences will differ from other players. Pros: - Graphics and Audio perfectly mix to create an out of this world atmosphere! - Creative, original storyline - Cutscenes are like mini movies! - Changes from the beta really improved the game - Game is engaging and we satisfy all levels of players - HOS were varied and puzzles were original Cons: - Puzzles are too easy for advanced players - Bonus Chaper is short and does not expand on the story

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ~~~ONE OF THE BEST SCI-FI ADVENTURES COMES TO BIGFISH.~~~ This is episode 3 in Madhead’s amazing Beyond series and just like the previous games, Light Advent and Star Descendant, this latest release is another out-of-this-world sci-fi masterpiece. Madhead developers really showcase their best work for this genre in the field of HOPA gaming. Amelia has been searching for her brother Reggie since separated during childhood when he was abducted by an alien race known as the “Galactic Force” while playing in their treehouse. Years have gone by and now Amelia is grown. She decides to visit the home she grew up after receiving a letter which she believes was recently written by her missing brother. When she arrives at the now abandoned family home she encounters a confrontation with a sinister being (aka eradicators) that frightens her into fleeing to a nearby hotel. There she learns from Nico (an elite member of the Galactic Force) that her brother Reggie is not only alive but is a Sentinel for the Galactic Force, chosen to defend mankind from a deadly contagion whose aim is to destroy everything by consuming planet Earth. Now you must find Reggie by traveling into space aboard a space station and rescue him; for he is the only one who knows how to stop this devious destructive plot. This will be a monumental under taking since the Eradicators (robot agents of the Contagion) will go to extreme lengths to stop you from progressing in the adventure. Your only hope is to journey with Reggie, contact the Elders of the Galactic Union to use their omnipotent Crystal weapon power and convince them to help you defeat the Eradicator robots and bring the crystal weapon to the heart of the contagion fleet and destroy their HORRID QUEEN! From the get go, I was absolutely hyped about this latest Beyond edition and it really exceeded my expectations. The storyline itself is entertaining enough on its own, but it also helps that Beyond: The Fading Signal has a top-of-the-shelf production. The visuals in the game are totally gorgeous; the artwork is creative, the vibrant colors are attractive, and even the animations are flawless. Moreover, the music comes in a nice variety that adds elements of excitement and suspense to the game. It is a no-brainer to go for the Collector’s Edition for this game; having also included a strategy guide, wallpapers, soundtracks, character biographies, achievements, collectibles, morphing objects, re-playable puzzles, and re-playable hidden object scenes. This is one of the best games offered in 2018 and I hope everyone who enjoys this series will have a blast playing this one. I highly recommend it for players of every level. Cheers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A wonderful SF adventure I really enjoyed this game. Had a strong flavor of Andre Norton, (if you don't know this writer, and enjoy the game, check out her books) with young people adventuring out among the Galaxies. The puzzles were mostly doable for me, which is a good sign. The HO’s were varied. The alien “queen” was really Alien! Looked like a cover from Amazing Stories in the 1940’s magazine or “Astounding” magazine, (pulp fiction from a bygone era, for you young folks. The game isn't terribly long, and the sequel also was rather short, but good, wrapping up some loose ends. This is a good solid game and I highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from VOICEOVERS PERFECT AND GRAPHICS MAKE YOU FEEL "INSIDE" THE GAME! I am preparing to buy this game. Everything is so clear and realistic and the game is very fast paced. There is a lot going on and you will be in the middle of it all! I hope all you BFG gamers will give this a try. I don't usually enjoy sci-fi games, but this game is so well done, I can't resist! You will be astounded at the children as they move and talk...the very best realistic graphics I have ever seen, anywhere, except a movie with real people!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Invaders Better Pack To Go Home! Did not even bother with the demo. Just immediately purchased and jumped right into this exciting story. I know it will be excellent from start to finish. The array of collectibles and morphs is quite generous and based on my past Beyond experience, I had to go with the CE. Hooray for today's sale! I am loving the graphics and of course the storyline. The games and HOPs are really great. The Earth characters and the invaders are rendered very well, even the cartoon-like graphics seen at times are done well. I just love everything about the Beyond series. I've waited a long time for this one to come along. Not just fun, but also so interesting. Another reviewer has provided a very good in-depth game description. So there is no need for me to add more, except to say this is a high quality sci-fi game. If you are a sci-fi fan like myself, this will definitely not disappoint ! And for those of you who may be skeptical, just try the demo. This is good entertainment for everyone. Now, please excuse me, while I get back to the fun! God Bless....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Techies will like this one Let me add my positive thoughts to those who have already rated this game with 5 stars. The best for me was the unusual presentation of the puzzles and the unique items that had to be manipulated to solve them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why wait? I don't know why I started playing the demo before purchasing. I've pretty much loved every title this company has put out. About 2/3's the way through the demo, I could tell I was going to love this game too. The graphics are clear and crisp, the voices are fine and the few puzzles I've done so far can be managed without sneaking a peek at the strategy guide. I also enjoyed the hidden object puzzles. So, I'll keep this short and say I think they've got another winner on their hands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ALIEN INVASION! SAVE EARTH IN A GAME WHICH IS OUT OF THIS WORLD REVIEW BASED UPON THE ENTIRE GAME 4 Chapters plus a Bonus Chapter – Strategy Guide: 37 Pages OVERVIEW: Alien invasion! Get prepared Amelia to defend planet Earth! When you were children, your twin brother Reggie vanished in a beam of light never to be seen again – until now. Upon receiving a message from him, you are off to a deserted hotel to reunite with him. Upon arriving, you discover Reggie has been in training with the Galactic Force and is now the Sentinel protecting this planet. Now the planet is in under attack by an extraterrestrial force, the Contagion. When Reggie is injured, it will be up to you, Amelia, to save the Earth! Are you up to the challenge? The destiny of the planet now rests on your shoulders! Get ready to take on the Eradicators, a nasty bunch of robots headed by a buggy-eyed queen. Let us see if you have the right stuff to fry their circuits! OPINION: I LOVED playing this game. It should appeal to sci-fi enthusiasts. It is high tech with robots, gadgets, and gizmos which don’t exist in the real world but are fun to tinker with in this game. The graphics are cartoonish with excellent sci-fi scenes. The story is vastly different from the beta/survey game; nevertheless, I feel it is better than the one in the beta. It is a fast-paced game with plenty of activities to keep you busy. You get a “weird device” (as it is called in the game) which allows to communicate with interplanetary beings. MECHANICS: There are five (5) levels of play including a customized version. There are nine (9) achievements, most containing three (3) parts. Collect twenty-nine (29) planet-type objects and twenty-nine (29) morphing objects. There are also morphing objects within the HOP scenes. I found some well-hidden and others not. If you miss the morphing objects, at the end, you can return to the scenes and retrieve them. At the end of the game, collect twenty-nine (29) treasures as well. You must locate all the collectibles before you can search for the treasures. There are seven (7) wallpapers. You can replay nineteen (19) HOP scenes. BONUS CHAPTER: It is a sequel. Amelia is trying to save her brother Reggie from an alien infection. You are off to the American West to locate a pyramid with an underground Galactic Force base which will allow you to restore his health. I found the bonus chapter an excellent follow-up to the game. There are a decent number of cleverly designed puzzles and HOP scenes. HOP SCENES: There are twenty-three (23) HOP scenes in the game. This includes the five (5) in the bonus chapter. The scenes in this game are incredible! They are cleverly designed and the best part of the game. There is a wide variety of styles as well – lists of items, silhouettes, storybook scenes, search and replace, and matching. In one scene you use robotic arms to choose items to create a robotic prototype. In another you use binoculars to locate geometric shapes. There is an incredibly beautiful storybook scene in which you locate constellations on a star map. Superb! PUZZLES: There are thirty-five (35) puzzles in the game which include the nine (9) in the bonus chapter. They vary in style and difficulty; however, most are thematic and mechanical in nature. I wish Mad Head would provide a replay for some of the puzzles. With this number of puzzles, there are several I would like to play again. I found most of the puzzles creatively designed. However, I do feel in this game, the HOP scenes are much better designed than the puzzles. SPOILERS: HERE ARE SOME OF THE PUZZLES AFTER THE DEMO: A. Arcade puzzle. Maneuver your space capsule to avoid asteroids in your path. B. Maze puzzle. Lead a token through a maze (with moving gears which change the path), so it picks up a key and travels to a lock at the end. C. Connection puzzle. Move a green token through a path filled with red tokens. The path must be continuous passing through each red token without retracing steps. D. Maze/Mathematical puzzle. On a grid, move a token by pressing on numbers at the side which will move that token that many spaces. Arrows within the grid will change the direction. However, to change direction you must calculate the correct number of spaces you need to travel to arrive at an arrow which changes direction. E. Match-3 puzzle. Beat the nasty alien by getting more crystals than the alien. BONUS CHAPTER: F. Assembly puzzle. Build a totem pole with given pieces. G. Assembly puzzle. An awesome puzzle in which you rotate three wheels with partial symbols on each one to create a slot for five symbols at the bottom to be fit when placed upon these wheels. H. Assembly puzzle. Rotate and move hexagonal tokens to recreate a given image. I. Jigsaw puzzle. Recreate a piece of pottery. J. Maze puzzle. Move a token from beginning to end in a specific number of moves (17)
