Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This Series & Now Even More with the CE Version The quality of these games just keeps getting better; I find myself not rushing to finish a scene just so I can enjoy the little details and extra actions of critters and other scenic details in every HOG scene. Now with the CE version I can extend that fun by playing even more of the puzzles that I love between the great HOG scenes. I really love the "turn the tiles" puzzles as well as the flipsaws. The only puzzles I consistently skip in these are the ones where I have to spin the rings to make the picture; I just don't have the patience to figure out how to get everything just right so that the rings that affect other rings end up right. Also not a big fan of the move the tiles around puzzles, but I was so bad at those actual plastic ones as a child that this is no surprise. All in all, I highly recommend all of these as well as the Cruise Director series. Just straight up FUN!! What would be so very cool is if the developer could go back and compile all the puzzles for more CE versions or just a "puzzles only" game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I did not like it but I was really disappointed this was released as a CE. What I liked about Casual Arts games is the simplicity of the games. I play for mindless entertainment. But I bought it. Played in casual mode and thought Dear God this is tedious. Finished the game then played extreme mode that changed my mind it was great. Extreme Mode has a timer but it is their version of Find All loved this game in Extreme Mode

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these games!!! Own all 9 plus all of the Cruise Director and Christmas Wonderland ones. These games are great to just sit back and relax to. I love being able to play these when I want without having to remember where you left off when you come back to it. Storyline is simple, but that is what makes these games great. Just to be able to sit back play a game without having to think. Thank you for making a game that you can play at the end of the day and relax.

Each game builds on the previous so you get to "know" the characters. Enough challenge to be satisfying. Music adds to the overall enjoyment. You truly get you money's worth from Vacation Adventures: Park Rangers games!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Let's Give These Guys A Raise! For at least 9 years, my family and I have vicariously enjoyed vacations at Pinecreek HIlls, Christmas in Springfield and several years of cruises. The experiences have been filled with good, clean fun and my children are learning to play hidden object games, as well as valuable lessons about wildlife conservation and preservation/protection of habitats. They are also learning lessons in logic, math, and observation and focus. We enjoy playing through these games together and the time we spend with them has become precious to us. This 9th release has improved graphics, less trash to find, offers a new level of challenge, and includes almost all the puzzles from previous games. It has more levels, new locations, one new game element (photo album) which I enjoyed and is more challenging than you think, and some new story lines. Considering all the games this developer gives us in a year, every year, I think they'd deserve the price increase, even if they hadn't included any extras. The cost of developing a game is quite dear and the price of making improvements even more so. IMHO, these games and these developers are worth it, especially if we want to keep them in business. And I, for one, want them to keep making these games.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful games as usual except for one glitch I always look forward to this series and purchase without a trial. Really into the game when it stopped and I could not move forward. Screen minimized and could not get it to maximize again. Asked if I wanted to start a new game. No have not finished the first game. Deleted the game and downloaded again. Still not working. All other games are fine so not my computer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the vacation I needed after this past winter! Park Ranger games never fail to cheer me up, and this one is especially welcome after one of the coldest winters I've ever experienced. As an added bonus, we finally get a Collector's Edition! I've been wishing for that for a long time. There are some nice touches in this 9th edition: The parents finally change their clothes! (the mom is still wearing the same necklace she's been wearing for years, no matter which game franchise she's in - Park Ranger, Cruise Director, or Christmas Wonderland) I do have a couple of quibbles. The native museum displays have mixed up at least a dozen different native tribes from all over North and South America. They can't possibly all be from whatever area Buffalo Valley is. And part of Pinecreek Hills seems to be located in Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada. My only wish for this game is that it had included a guide to where to find the trash and wildlife! Some of those glass bottles are practically invisible, and it's annoying not to be able to get a perfect score.
