Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Game for Christmas Time “Shopping Clutter: Christmas Poetree” is a nice way to relax and to have a little rest as well as to get a festive mood. This time, the Walkers decorate a Christmas tree in their living-room both using classical decorations and inventing some unique ones while telling various funny stories from their life. And the player has to go in search of a required item. Each of 20 chapters has its own quest item that can be received at the end of every chapter. Every chapter has 7 “clutter” levels, and 1 puzzle where the player has to gather a picture by swapping, rotating or turning over tiles. The first levels are rather simple where large objects are used. A part of them is already familiar from the previous games, the rest is quite new, e.g. toys, various Christmas-tree decorations, new gift boxes. The next levels become more complicated – in some of them the player has to gather 3 or 4 objects instead of 2, in some of the levels there are only silhouettes of the objects, and what is more the objects can be of different colors or different sizes (somewhere the same objects can be of large size or middle-sized or even very tiny). This is a rather difficult version when the objects move along the given path and it’s impossible to push them aside. It’s also interesting to play on the levels where an object is divided into several parts of different colors that must be gathered together. In the game there are 2 difficulty modes – the easy one has no time-limits, the difficult one does. I like the idea of the game with changing of tasks: the player can have a short rest on the levels where the objects must be simply matched, and then rack the brains on the levels with different colors or with constant shuffling of the objects. On some levels from time to time there appeared bubbles with items inside flying over the field. That’s a little bit annoying, because it makes the game more difficult. Actually, I wanted the challenge while playing in the difficult mode. So, that’s okay. The music in the game is very joyful and festive, very suitable to Christmas time. That’s what we need for having good mood. The pictures and general background create a special atmosphere, too. Also the majority of objects on all levels accentuate the Christmas atmosphere, but there are neutral objects, too. Generally, I’m very pleased with the game, its Christmas atmosphere, new tasks and modes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay game Not the best (to me) of a clutter game. One thing I don't understand is the scoring in the game. I am playing on easy mode and the few things I do not like is the solid colors and the items moving around in the bubbles. Just playing it to get to the end. Give it a try, you might like it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from WALKER FAMILY TREE BALLS Here a ball, there a ball, everywhere a Tree Ball, yes those Walkers have some balls, E-I-E-I-Oh-my! I have fun playing Shopping Clutter for a few levels but after the introductory tutorial levels running through the different Clutter styles, it just gets repetitive and boring. The items are huge, so large they can be spotted from across the room and they are the same items in every level, in fact, they are the same items in the four previous games as well...and a good chunk of them aren't even Christmas related! I will admit that this dev tries to come up with different styles but they aren't challenging and when a game is super easy, it gets super boring :( You can choose between an Easy or Difficulty Mode, but as I said earlier the difficult mode is worthless because the objects to match are so large. The Easy Mode is an Untimed mode and the Difficult Mode is simply a Timed Mode that gives you extra points for completing the level, +10 points for every second remaining on the timer, and +500 points for every unused Hint feature. There are 140 Clutter-type levels that can be replayed if you want to earn a better score. After playing 7 Clutter levels, you can play a Puzzle variation such as Square Tile Swaps (adjacent, diagonal, etc.) or Sliders (20 Total Puzzles) Clutter Variations: ?Matching Pairs ?Triplets ?Related Items ?Themed Items (Tree Balls-Animal Toys-Sweets) ?Transparent Items ?Same Size ?Different Size ?Same Colors ?Different Colors ?De-Clutter (move items from piles & match) Some levels have objects that can be moved out of the way. some continually move along a path. Each scene has a ton of GIANT Sun Emblems scattered among the junkpiles to recharge the Hint Meter. Rated 2 out of 5 by from virtually impossible For a clutter game, in my opinion, this series of games used to be quite good. I prefer to play in difficulty level because easy is too easy. Christmas Square 2 that was released last year, followed by SC Blooming Tales, were excellent with just enough challenge to make it playable. This one is frustrating because of the limited time given to clear some levels. Seems like the developers tried to reinvent the game to another level of challenge and for some reason make it really difficult. This hasn't worked Maybe they should have 3 levels - Easy, Difficult and Really Insane. Fortunately, I used a free coupon to buy this one hoping that it wouldn't go crazy impossible as the game progressed. Well, it has which is a shame. Two positives are that the Christmas music is quite good and the concept of play is excellent but, to repeat myself, it's too hard. Makes me wonder if the developers have actually played and tested it to see that some levels are impossible to clear. Unfortunately, I won't be buying any more from these series and replay the ones I have.
