Path of Sin: Greed Collector's Edition is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Been waiting for this No Magic... No Heroine... No Fairies... No Spirits and Demons or other dimensions. Classical investigation work. I've been waiting for this type of games for a long time now. Also, the collectibles in the game are not OVERLOADING the game (just one per scene - perfect). The puzzles are fair I'd say (though I had to skip some of them to be honest, but they are fair and I find them in most of HOGs right now). You know what else I like about it? They don't use random glyphs for runes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Refreshingly Different I really enjoyed that it was not supernatural! One can only do so many spirits and realms. Simple story line of whodunit. Great sound effects, and graphics.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Game! I gave this game 5 stars for it was excellent for all categories. I was overjoyed that the storyline was a "whodunnit". A creative story that kept me engaged. Darn clever and the game offered a lot of hunt and seek opportunities, The map was useful. Thanks to all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great game, but The only criticism about the game is, if you are in a puzzle, and need to look at the guide for reference, you have to come out of the puzzle, in order to access the guide, which was irritating, other than that I enjoyed the game. You do all the work as usual, the Inspector just interviews everyone, you have to find out how and why the guy turns up dead, (I'm sorry about then lack of name, I just can't remember it), it's a twist in the tale. You are centred in the mansion, and have to go to different locations within the mansion, until you get to the Bonus game. and obviously there's all sorts of puzzles you have to do, some favourites, such as joining the wheels, but not over crossing lines, they I love doing. Great story line, and the graphics and figures and the voices are great, I really enjoyed playing it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love a Murder Mystery Game! A murder mystery! One with a human (sure hope it stays that way) perpetrator! Do you know how rare those are? Very! No angry spirit awoken from the depths.... no vengeful witch "eating" souls. A human murderer! A normal location! Actual reasonable tasks! YES! So, a death has occurred. The first thing, was it suicide like the island residents say, and hope? We investigate and look for evidence to photograph. There is an evidence board, with tabs for "residents," "filed evidence," and "un-filed evidence." When enough evidence is posted under "un-filed" we make deductions. I found the graphics fine, clear and fitting the locations. The characters were well brought out. No lags or glitches during play. The poor reviews are baffling to me. As per the newer HOG, there are more puzzles than HOS. Nothing extremely hard, but not numbingly easy. PUZZLES: * restore two torn photos * turn 3 pyramid pieces to form image * enter code to open another puzzle, where you follow a sequence of symbols, making a path * deducing from evidence, "What happened?" * match the alibis given (so pay attention when you interview!) * rearrange triangles to form picture (this kind always stumps me!) HOS: nice lists, and a really good progressive one (the model) containing a mini. COLLECTIBLES are a disappointment. Much too large, "in your face" out front. And, why those? I haven't found out if there's a reason. What I noticed straight off, was why such a skimpy game description? It's like they don't really want to promote it! This game is a definite buy for me It's something different, and it seems for all the asking I see players want, when we get it players find they didn't really mean it! So, who "dun" it? I for one will be more than happy to play this game and find out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun old-school murder mystery To me the story-line is always the most important aspect of a game. I enjoyed it immensely I miss games such as these Thank you Big Fish for a very fun-filled and engaging game

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Incredible graphics talent from Artifex Mundi [AM], thrilling police investigation (on demo) I am very attached to AM from maybe their very beginnings since Grimm Tales : la mariée abandonnée and the second opus which have been for a very long time my favorite HOP games because of the storylines, the beautiful flowers and a lillle otter that we had to liberate from a net. So always emotional and talking with my heart for Artifex Mundi. Graphics, settings (decors) are gorgeous. The storyline and the characters are very well defined and scenario makes sense. Far much interesting than the previous games that I tried in recent months both on the US and French Site. I removed a star, firstly bec no otter in the demo :D and second I wanted to have the dolls collection in real and not in picture book. On the demo , pretty good game maybe a little close to Eipix.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I agree with others who like this game. I bought it because, as others stated, it's a straightforward murder mystery. No monsters, no royalty in distress, no paranormal tripe, no colored smoke, no evil elves, no ghosts, no spells. I don't mind the rather dated looking figures, the less than stellar artwork, or the camera and other props. These are offset by the lack of other factors, mentioned above. Thank you developers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall, fun, murder mystery came Nothing done here is either inventive, challenging, new, or extraordinary. However, in this case, that is perfectly fine. If you like murder mystery games, this game is done well enough to keep your interest. The HOP's are pretty standard, the murder mystery is pretty standard, graphics are pretty standard. However, they all add up to a fairly engaging game. I love a murder mystery set in a large mansion, on a stormy night. A solid 3.5 star game.
