Path of Sin: Greed Collector's Edition is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Detective Game Without any Paranormal!!!!!! I am happy to report that this game does not have even a smidgeon of anything remotely connected to the paranormal. There were no chants, rituals, ghosts, demons, or witches! So what does this game have? It has a really good detective story in which we play the detective and find clues. We interrogate suspects and establish alibis. I found the game to be very interesting. It was fun playing detective. I finished the whole game, including the bonus. It is a very long game. I did use the map sometimes, because once in awhile there was an object in the inventory that wasn't used for awhile and I had to travel back through several scenes to find where it went. Mostly, though the inventory items were used pretty quick. The graphics were very good. I thought the lighthouse display was cool. There were some cute gargoyles in one part that I liked, especially the incorporation of one of the mini-games using the gargoyles. Super awesome! There were not as many mini-games in this game as I like (I love them to be in every scene) but it was still fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Game, E.F.T.G.* Elegant graphics, plain rather than otherwise and very easy on the eye during the game. Love the snakes named Blackaddar and Baldric! Collectable ghost dolls in each scene.Good mystery. The Bonus was a sequel where they round up the one villain that escaped. My only problem was the chief Detective who was a bit of a git, talking very loudly to his assistant and repeating something like “We’ll talk more when we have evidence” over and over again in a loud voice. The only time he spoke in a normal voice is when he swanned in and presented all the evidence (that the assistant had procured). Definitely a git. The game as a whole is excellent though, with lots of clues and a meandering path to find the truth. I really enjoyed it. *Exept.for.the.git.!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Murder Mystery Thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. The Developer did an excellent job in the creation of this game. Finally a true "who done it" with humans. I hope more of these games are developed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice and steady game. I do like this game. It was very good in length. not to easy but not hard. You do search around for various items a lot but not sure why this is a bad thing as some say. In other words if this bothers you then you may not like this game. As stated by others no spookiness or supernatural shenanigans in this game so it was a nice game that I could think naturally , no weirdness. Graphics I thought was good so I can't see why some complained about it. Granted it is not like a $50- $60 game but one does not pay that much for this game. If I had anything to complain about is there was no way to go back and find the 'dolls' I missed after I was done with the game and this is VERY minor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ~~ A NEW DETECTIVE HOMICIDE QUEST COMES TO BIG FISH!~~ Cordelia Games and Artifex Mundi have collaborated to create an incredibly suspenseful Homicide / adventure game! It was supposed to be a simple suicide case – a quick inspection and lots of boring paperwork. But the more you delve into this secluded island and the twisted family relations of the owners, the more complicated and unclear this case becomes. Join Inspector Abbey as you investigate the suicide of Mark Spector. A security guard employed by Billionaire Henry Bradford to protect his lavish remote Island Estate! As clues unfold you and Inspector Abbey discover more than you bargained for when residents of the island are found dead and your only clue at the start of your investigation is a suspicious suicide note... Along side Inspector Abbey you will investigate several of the island's inhabitants for what appears to be a double murder! Your list of suspects include: Henry Bradford - Billionaire CEO of Bradford IT Company. Edward Bradford - Brother of Henry and CFO of IT Company. Patricia Bradford - Wife of Billionaire Henry Bradford. Alexei Tarkov - Prominent Lawyer for Henry. Richard Jones - Henry Bradford's longtime friend. Grace Anderson - Richard's fiancé Who has an alibi and who's lying? Follow the clues, collect evidence (using your camera & evidence folder) and uncover the truth behind this intriguing story of greed and sin. Even the most seasoned sleuths won't guess who's responsible! I loved every moment of this game from start to finish...and it's a lengthy mystery clocking in at around five (5) hours of gameplay and another hour for the bonus game. Kudos to Arifex Mundi and Big Fish for this awesome thriller. I highly recommend this to players of every level who enjoy the genre. Cheers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderfully Different How lovely to have a game without ghoulies and ghosties and long-leggedy beasties for a change. Not that I don't like those - but not in every single game. Here we have a murder mystery, with no paranormal explanations at all. I am sidekick to a great detective - who usually leaves all the work to me, but that's alright, because I'm good at it. It has nice artwork, interesting scenes, middle of the road HOs, a not complicated "white board" where clues are put together, and a satisfying ending. The bonus game is a continuation of the story, and not a lame prequel as happens so often. With the exception of some buggy controls meaning hot spots didn't show up easily, I played without any trouble and was sorry to see it end. I will definitely play this game again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Been waiting for this No Magic... No Heroine... No Fairies... No Spirits and Demons or other dimensions. Classical investigation work. I've been waiting for this type of games for a long time now. Also, the collectibles in the game are not OVERLOADING the game (just one per scene - perfect). The puzzles are fair I'd say (though I had to skip some of them to be honest, but they are fair and I find them in most of HOGs right now). You know what else I like about it? They don't use random glyphs for runes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Refreshingly Different I really enjoyed that it was not supernatural! One can only do so many spirits and realms. Simple story line of whodunit. Great sound effects, and graphics.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Game! I gave this game 5 stars for it was excellent for all categories. I was overjoyed that the storyline was a "whodunnit". A creative story that kept me engaged. Darn clever and the game offered a lot of hunt and seek opportunities, The map was useful. Thanks to all.
