Kensho is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly Addictive Loved this game. I can't stop playing it but I need to write this review. Not really sure if I'm good at this game or not, but progressing through the levels. I think that sometimes it works by luck and sometimes by my working it out but either way it's enjoyable. The only annoying thing about it is the music. Apparently it's good to play with headphones but the music to me is quite repetetive so stuck headphones in socket but not listening. I don't know how far I will get with this one as it's getting quite difficult early on but will keep on until my head explodes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Every once in a while... ... a game comes along that provides a new twist to an oldie but goodie. Kensho brought back memories of the little slider puzzles and Rubik's cubes that I whiled away the hours on when I was young(-ish!). This is such an enjoyable and beautiful little puzzle adventure! And just like a previous reviewer mentioned - be sure to use your headphones and lose yourself for a while!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Game If you're familiar with 'Journey' or 'Abzu' you'll love this games atmosphere. I suspect a developer of those games was involved in this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loved it accept for the 3D graphics I really enjoyed the clever gameplay. The developers used great imagination to create unique puzzles that hold my attention, and which challenge me -but not too challenging so that its impossible to figure out. The colors and scenes are wonderful. I loved everything about the game except for the 3D graphics which caused me to feel nauseous. I understand where the developers were going with this, as it can create interactive game play. But, my eyes/brain can't handle the 3D movement for some reason. Its not a buy for me for this reason. Try it out. If you don't mind the 3D graphics, you may really enjoy it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A New Mind Puzzle Similar concepts are around but Kensho gives them a new twist. It is part slider, part M3, part Sokoban and some other stuff thrown in. Figuring out what to do is incorporated as part of the game and only with the help of a visual cube character. Nice graphics and better than usual music complete this mind-bender. I usually play the whole demo, then decide. This time I bought after the first few rounds. Kensho becomes more challenging as the game progresses and IMO worth paying for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very beautiful, and great music! **Reviewing after the demo** This is a great game to while away the time. The instructions were definitely enough to get me through, and there were a couple of times where I wasn't sure if I would be able to finish the level. So the gameplay was worth the price of the game. There's a request to play the music through headphones. Even if you only play the demo, DO THIS! The music is beautiful, and (again) worth the price of the game. The graphics are amazing! Yeah, the time taken between levels is a little long - sit back and enjoy it. And (3rd times the charm) worth the price of the game. Unfortunately, it's the smaller games that tend to make laptops overheat, so I can't play it more than a few minutes at a time. Otherwise I would buy this game in a heartbeat and lose myself in it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from GREAT GRAPHICS, CATCHY CONCEPT, REALLY REPETITIOUS First of all, kudos to the graphic design department, they are beautiful! There isn't much to tell here, it's a very simple Match 3 variation where you drag square tiles up, down, left, or right to move them 1 cell at a time to try to align at least 3 Squares Vertically or Horizontally to remove them. (note that if you align 3 tiles and others of the same color are grouped next to the match they are all removed) The Goal is to remove 5 tiles with Key sections to unlock the next Levels Door. The difficulty comes into play with the fact that when you move one tile, they all move together. To make things a bit more challenging, Unmovable Obstacles are added to the board which can help or hinder your progress. A single tile is added to the board after each move you make and the next tile color is shown to the left to help you strategize your moves. There's no time or move limit and no penalties that I noticed, but I'm assuming that you will lose if the board fills to capacity? I was really enjoying the game because of the strategy involved but after 3-4 levels it just became repetitious and began to feel like a chore.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from To short - not very challenging You can almost finish the game in the 1 hour trial. The game was fun but there is not much more to do after the trial. It was not very challenging. Visuals were good but a bit too much between levels - which is pretty much the only reason it could not be fully completed in 1 hours. Disappointing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Big NO for me The game play is awkward to begin with. Then even if you don't manage to match 3 and the blocks all break, the next task is made to insure you get the next "key." So, the game seems to move forward regardless. That said, the lightening and sound effects between each level is unnecessary. I found this game a bit annoying.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for me Gave me a headache right off. Beautiful graphics and music, but definitely not my kind of game. Games should be fun, not work. This is too much like work and fixing something broken.
