Customer Reviews
Tasty Jigsaw: Happy Hour is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Some people like food These puzzles are great. The people who don't like them probably want 1000 puzzles of trees or something as boring. The only problem I have is that if you regularly buy these games the puzzles tend to repeat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mostly Great I'm a fan of these puzzle games, and this one has the same great gameplay and lovely, high quality images. Some of the photos have been reused from other games, however, and the way the pictures are sorted into the categories doesn't always make sense. Also, as has been their norm lately, there are a lot of people and those puzzles are never fun to work. Otherwise, as food puzzles are my favorites, I'm loving this one!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very enjoyable Jigsaw Having been mostly isolated for 10 months now, I found the photos of people gathering around food to be very enjoyable. The pictures are bright and vivid, well photographed, and the variety of options - changing number of pieces, shape of pieces, sorting, edges only, and more to make for a very nice pastime. I'll buy this one. Love this developer's puzzles. Only suggestion would be to allow the puzzler to change the size of the puzzle with a simple scroll. That would make it 5 stars for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from it is ok... it is ok for a jigsaw puzzle game, nothing remarkable.. i don't know what the first few reviews are all about, have they actually played the game? it's not all food pics.. i quite like jigsaws with food pics, it's all the happy snaps of people i don't like.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's getting stupid now What on earth is going on? This is the 3rd Jigsaw offering from this developer in 2 weeks and the previous 2 got less than 2 stars so why more of this rubbish ? And what makes it worse is it is nothing but food, Many of us are stuck at home and need great games to keep us amused and all we get from this outfit are hundreds of food puzzles which is great for any weight watchers.(Not) Really , please, we are absolutely scraping the barrel now and surely there has to be better than this ?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from IS FELIX ON VACATION OR DID BF RUN OUT OF GAMES TO OFFER? Once again, we get another worthless puzzle game by the same developer who mass-produces cookie-cutter games at a break-neck speed. Just when I thought they couldn't possibly offer a game with more uninteresting images than the last game, they prove me wrong! This game is chock-full of ugly, uninteresting, staged pictures of food...you heard me right, this is a jigsaw puzzle game based entirely on food, 100 jigsaws for Breakfast, 100 jigsaws for Lunch, 100 jigsaws for Dinner, 100 jigsaws for an Afternoon Snack, and 100 jigsaws for Supper! Why on earth would someone want to pay for 500 puzzles of nothing but food, has BF run out of games to offer? If any of the images offered in this computer version was a real, physical retail boxed puzzle, sitting on a shelf in the puzzle aisle of the store, it would still be sitting there 20 years later, until some kind employee decided to show it some mercy and throw it in the recycle bin! Even if they put a huge sign on it that said "Free To A Good Home" it would be declined by even the most desperate puzzle geeks, bored out of their mind during a Covid lockdown! You know the drill, nothing ever changes (& never will). There are Achievement Trophies to earn and a Top Scores leaderboard. There are no options to access any of those features to find out what achievements you are striving to achieve. You can save your puzzle progress but you can't save the completed puzzle image nor can you download the image as a screensaver or wallpaper, but then again, who wants wallpapers of food? There is a box to store extra pieces, but there are no options to categorize, label, or sort these stored pieces, nor is there an option to fetch or retrieve certain pieces because you can't sort and label these stored pieces. The current sort option simply scrambles the pieces to the correct area, such as the top, bottom, right, or left side which feels like you're cheating...that makes no sense? Wouldn't it be nice to have the ability to sort them by the correct rotation, color variations (zebra stripes, blue sky, green grass), or shape of the puzzle piece? At least it gives you the option to choose the Border pieces separately, but there is no available option to sort the border pieces by shape or color. There is an option to post a Pictured Image of the puzzle you are working on which also allows you to choose three different sizes of x1, x2, or x3. You can also opt to Ghost the Image on the Background (the puzzle is assembled on top of the ghosted image) It doesn't, however, give you the option to choose the Opaqueness of the Ghosted Image to make the image more or less visible, depending on how difficult you want the puzzle assembly to be. The "ghosted image isn't "ghosted" it's simply a large, stationary picture. There is an available Magnifying Glass to enlarge sections, as well as a Hint feature in case you get stumped. You can easily become "stumped" because the puzzle connection tabs connecting two pieces together, never appear as an actual match (the tab on puzzle piece A looks nothing like the opening in puzzle piece B) most of the time the colors don't even appear to match up because they are using cheap software. You can also choose the Resolution, opt for a single Custom Cursor (a tiny cursor at that!) or change the color of the background to a pastel shade of Pink, Green, Blue or Gray. Even though they are pastels, these basic color options tend to be too dark with most of the puzzles, so being able to adjust the intensity of the background colors at the very least, makes sense, doesn't it? Here's a fun fact: Even the oldest monitors can EASILYdisplay 16,777,216,256 different colors, yet we are only given an option of Four of those 16,777,216,256 colors to choose from as the background color! Any Puzzle offered can be modified with Size options, the Shape of the puzzle pieces, and whether or not you want the pieces to Rotate, but even then, it's not optimized to allow you to assemble a puzzle much bigger than 300 pieces. A 300 Piece Puzzle purchased off the shelf would be labeled for ages +5 five years old and up! There's an old jigsaw meme that says "I just completed a puzzle in one week and the box says 2-5 years"...great motto for Jigsaws by this developer? Once you complete a Jigsaw Puzzle, you're done, the party's over, you get about 2 seconds to admire your work before the image disappears and the stats pop-up...probably for the best! Just walk away and come visit me on my new forum thewoodsforum.boards.net

Rated 1 out of 5 by from You've Got To Be Kidding?! Whoever thought this was a good idea, is in serious need of a new thinking cap!! There is no way I will spend money on puzzles with pictures of food, food and more food. I had no desire to assemble a puzzle or check out any of the features. The graphics are sharp, the colors are nice and bright, there are 500 images to keep you busy. Maybe these puzzles will appeal to chefs, bakers, restaurateurs, caterers. This really takes the cake (pun intended)! Please, Big Fish! You can do better than this for your puzzle-loving fishies!
