Solitaire: Elemental Wizards is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I BUY ALL SOLITAIRE GAMES BY THIS DEVELOPER...NO DEMO NECESSARY! (I have never been disappointed :) I purchase every solitaire game by this developer sight unseen, no trial necessary because they have everything I want in a solitaire game...and I have NEVER been disappointed! They always have beautiful graphics, a delightful story, challenging obstacles, and more importantly, they have all the must-have options I want...and I love the Morphing Bonuses that appear briefly on the cards ? You can choose from 4 Card Graphic Styles and 2 Font Styles (a large font & a themed font) and there are 11 Trophy Achievements, 5 Extra Story Levels, 10 Wallpapers, and 10 Mini-Games (I believe they are all 40 piece Jigsaw Puzzles but I've only unlocked 1 so far) This is a Higher/Lower Solitaire Game and the goal is to earn all 3 Stars (levels can be replayed) You will earn 3-stars if all cards are removed, 2-stars if two cards remain, and 1-star if three cards remain, 0-stars if 4 or more cards remain. Combos start at 6 cards to increase the Index Multiplier Bar, and each level gives you 1 Undo. As you progress, you will earn Jokers and number specific Wildcards. A single click will add them to the pocket for later use, but the slot only allows for 4 cards so once full, the cards on the board will be played when clicked upon. Jokers & Wildcards can also be purchased in the Shop with the coins you earn, you can also purchase a deck card counter and upgrades to the Four Elemental Wizards Power-up Cards. There are four Elemental Wizards that will help you as you progress via a power-up card and each card can be upgraded x2 by purchasing in the shop with the coins you earn. *Wind Essence: changes the card in the deck to a useful card. (upgrade x2 $10470 coins) *Earth Essence: removes any selected card (upgrade x2 $8000 coins) *Water Essence: randomly removes 2 cards from the board. (upgrade x2 $11150 coins) *Fire Essence: shuffles all cards on the board. (upgrade x2 $6280 coins) As you progress, Morphing Bonuses will appear on some of the cards briefly such as an Eye that reveals 2 facedown cards when the card is played, Coin Cards that adds 50 coins, or one that adds 2 deck cards. Obstacles are also added to the mix such as Boards that require two plays to remove, or locks that require playing the key cards. I've never been disappointed by a Digimight solitaire game, they are always hours of solid entertainment and never boring. Give it a try and I bet you'll be downloading all of the games by this developer too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buying This solitaire game is a must for me, you get to play all the cards and clear the board. I didn't have any issues where the game played the cards for me. Played the whole trial, loved where I could go back and replay, to get the 3 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Where Soliaire meets entertainment I like solitaire games with stories. I have several good ones, but this one went to the top Just kept on playing. Really liked it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lots Of Levels, Beautiful Graphics I bought this solitaire, being familiar with the dev's reputation for quality games. It displays beautiful graphics, a fun challenge created by the obstacle cards, quick morph bonuses that appear occasionally and there is a variety of options available. I like the mini game jigsaws that are not too EZ-PZ and there is a cute story that comes along with Elemental Wizards; High/low is my favorite of solitaire games and this one suits me just fine. It offers fun, interest, strategy, challenge, and extras that make it a good purchase. I do like Elemental Wizards more than the last two solitaires released on BFG. There are a couple of flaws but they weren't annoying enough to prevent me from purchasing. I wish there was an extra undo. Plus, I noticed that several cards at a time on the deck would occasionally flip over, which can make a difference in reaching your 3-star goal. It creates an unfair influence on the outcome. So, when it happens, I replay the level to be sure I have not been shorted of any deck cards. Haven't been shopping yet because it takes a long time to be able to afford the bonuses. It costs way too much, in my opinion, to purchase the upgrades to the power-up cards. So far I have not needed any. I have been playing for quite a while now and find it quite entertaining. A good solid game that provides much of what I look for in solitaire. Give the demo a whirl, hopefully this will be a good choice for you, too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice little game..couple of fault's, but I bought it This is what I would call my 'goldilocks' level of solitaire. Not too hard or easy..'just right' The game has a good selection of card options, bio's on the characters, achievements (trophies) wallpapers and minigames as well as the solitaire which is pretty good for an SE. I had no trouble with the game playing smoothly but I took off a star for two fault's I found. I could not find any way to get an extra undo, it is not offered in the bonus buys. I play solitaire late at night when I am often a bit dopey and most games give you the option to buy extra ones. The other was how long it takes to earn the money to buy anything, and some bonuses dont open until you reach a certain level. And lastly I dont like games that make you use a feature in the tutorial. Although they seemed to give them back to you shortly after. But it is a nice bright game to play, I really enjoyed the one minigame I have managed to open, a jigsaw with that 'just right' amount of difficulty and I have had to use strategy and repeat the odd level. I like the bonuses that appear on the cards while you are playing and there are good amount of obstacles to overcome and things to find to unlock etc.. Always try the demo..but this one made me come back for it after I passed at first..so it got me!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from AVERAGE SOLITAIRE GAME Others have described in detail the mechanics so I won't go into that here. I found that if I didn't care if I received three stars I could complete each level within one and half minutes. Although, I did obtain a lot of three star levels. Yes, there are obstacles but you can repeat levels if you want to -- I didn't. I was disappointed that on some levels you were not given enough cards and the price of "helpers" was high. I did like the mini-puzzles under Extra, but they were not too hard. Always try for yourself.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Liked it, Did not love it. This seems to be another game where some had no problems playing it then others did. I encountered a few problems that although I liked this game, they prevented me from buying. I had problems with the game selecting another card on several occasions and because there is only one undo this became a problem for me. I want to be able to have the choice which card I want to play not have the game decide for me. According to another review using a mouse will help. I also did not understand why several cards would sometimes shake when you had made a move or picked up a card from the pile. Normally this means you have missed a card but not this time, sometimes 3 or 4 cards would shake for no apparent reason. Although there is only one mode you can carry on if you run out of cards and not get the 3 stars. Some levels I found only getting a small amount of cards which mean't I would need to keep replaying. Some will like this some will not I just wished they would cater for all tastes and provide more than one mode, perhaps the option of more cards for those who want a more relaxing game. So for me this is a no buy but do understand why others are loving it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks good but what is the point This game looks really nice and promised much but as I played it and got to level 99 I had to say I do not see the point. There does not appear to be any challenges to meet and beat, build anything as in some others. You just play hands and have the usual cards that you have to get rid of to continue. I was not impressed I have to say. Shame as the music was not offensive and the look was very nice. Not sure if I will bother going on with it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't waste a credit. This game is dull and boring in my opinion. Everything! Story, music, game play, and power ups. Plus some of the obstacles were hard to decipher and some of the numbers were really hard to make out. I do not recommend spending money on this game or wasting a credit. Just my opinion! Happy gaming!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rather Boring Played for about half the trial and just couldn't go any further. The story was recycled and uninteresting. The game play was without problems for me since I use a wired mouse for these solitaire games after I discovered that the multiple card flips didn't happen when I switched to the wired mouse. **Don't know why but it works** This game is so similar to all the other games by this developer, including the music that just couldn't get excited enough to want to purchase or finish the trial. Try it for yourself, though.
