Wanderlust: The Bermuda Secret Collector's Edition is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 67.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun, Funny, Ironic, and Hip! Engaging story line, great and quite different characters--especially the self-ironic and hip Collins!--excellent bling, challenging puzzles, nice scenery and music--and you get to keep your knife! This game felt fresh and new! It's great to actually laugh and have a good time in a game!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A WONDERFUL POURING OUT OF IMAGINATION I wont write a long review, so much has been said and I just want to put myself on record too as having enjoyed this game immensely and to pay tribute to the developers for putting so much attention into every detail visually and in the story which is like a last sky rocket in a fireworks show firing stage by stage until finally filling the sky in a glory of light and color. I would urge anyone who did not complete the game to still do so and anyone who has not played it yet to not miss this wonderful act of gaming imagination!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesomeness overload This game is sooo different from cookie cutter games of late. It has a great story line, interesting characters and some really difficult puzzles and HOPs. I really enjoyed it and hope Mad Head sends us more of this type of game. It's also hilarious! I enjoyed every minute.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from That Was So Much Fun! What a clever game! I enjoyed every bit of it. There are so many fun characters. I especially liked Collins and was thrilled to be able to see him again in the bonus game. The bonus section was packed! Way worth every penny for the CE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Collins Saves The Day! This One's For Gamers The secret is that it's really two games - there, I've said it. I had the good fortune to beta test this one and I can attest that the demo doesn't even give the player a clue where the thing is really going. Our POV heroine endures a by-now customary plane crash in the Bermuda triangle and is off to save her friend from...wait, what's that, a ship floating in the air? Pros: Nearly too many to mention. The atmosphere is exotic, especially the vertiginous cloud city our heroine begins in (and leaves too soon). We have a zip-line paradise, an aircraft carrier turned into a bazaar all floating among the clouds, and a weird island that is the source of overpowering magnetic effects that have entrapped an entire population. It's a fairly conventional adventure game from this point on, with a nicely-developed cast and some excellent voice acting. Puzzles are a high point. Music is really good on this one. The writing is fairly ordinary so far, but pretty soon it won't be. Cons: Some tedious sequences that don't really work very well - our heroine finds herself dangling in the air and must talk her friend into building a trampoline contraption in a sequence that makes no sense at all, in a rolling-viewpoint environment that is clumsy at best. I'm guessing this might be the source of the bad reviews. Some other small things - why, for example, everyone at the bazaar speaks a subtitled native language but on the island everyone is speaking fluent English. Language lessons from the interlopers, perhaps? Mid-game scenery is elaborate and colorful but shamelessly junkpile. And one item that isn't really much of a Con, but it's true - don't bother with the SE version, you'll miss out on the fun. More: So there we are, approaching the climax of a short, colorful game that is getting all too common these days. Then the valiant explorer - he wouldn't fib about that, would he? - Andrew Collins shows up and the game kicks into overdrive. So many games of late with so little humor, but it's here in abundance. The interplay is excellent - our heroine uncorks a few tart remarks she's probably been suppressing out of politeness all game long, and what was borderline ordinary turns into a hilarious romp. The A writing team has taken over and the rest of the game is a love letter to gamers from the Devs. The Fourth Wall is not only broken but shattered. I won't give away a single joke but they're plenty and they're good. Bonus Game: After some really wild riffs the game ends very satisfactorily, some leaving the island, some staying...including one Andrew Collins. He's after his love Julie and it's been a three-year wait, and he won't be denied. We have a return to the floating city and its less reputable inhabitants, and Collins proves somewhat difficult to kill - when he swims out of disaster and started poking buttons for the player I will admit to laughing long and loud. Now that's a hero! Overall, a weird, beautiful, and quirky adventure game. This one's for experienced gamers who will get the in jokes. There are flat spots, but it doesn't matter, it's really good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally an original game!!! It's such a relief to have something different to play. I applaud any effort to create a unique experience. The digital world can take us anywhere, anytime but it seems BF games always center on the same old tired story lines. This will make a fun addition to my library. Keep it up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes being lost a joyful experience! Sure can't figure out the people who wrote the negative reviews the first day or two after this game came out. Just as some others have done, I'm writing a review only to increase the overall ratings for this beautiful game and to encourage others to give it a try. I've loved Mad Head from the beginning (except for their lead female actor -- Mad Head uses her too much and she can't seem to do certain emotions very well). I enjoy the icons indicating if there is a collectable and/or a morphing object in a scene, so we know they are there, but it's sometimes quite a challenge to find them. I like that. HOGS with a morphing object are also fun. I am having some problems with getting the inventory to move across the screen, but I'll check out the forums and see if someone has come up with a solution for this glitch. Great game. And it appears to be lengthy, always a bonus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best game in a long time More games like this please! the standard of games lately has been wanting. All the same problems/games to solve but this is a much better thought out game with better puzzles. The art work and sound is way better that what ive played lately showing what should be being produced today with the technology at hand. Amazing and funny when you meet a certain character turning the game inside out!! very cleverly done!!! Loved this game and need more like it well done fathead games!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from At last a great game to play After years of being a Hidden Game addict I was on the verge of cancelling my subscription due to the mundane, uninspiring Hidden Object/Adventure games that we have been presented with over the last few years which neither tested my skills or excited me, when along came this game which although a traditional hidden object game also has enough new play puzzles and quirks about it for me to find playing it thoroughly enjoyable and hoping that other game makers will take note that we more challenging puzzles to keep us old stalwarts interested. The graphics are great. Highly recommend this game and hope more of the same and even better come along.
