Heroes of Egypt: The Curse of Sethos is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from TONIC I love time management games. This game was very challenging! With a little perserverance, I succeeded every level with 3 stars! Love the game. Graphics and storyline could of been a little better, though!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never a dull moment This is an extremely inventive game that makes you scratch your head wondering HOW you are going to get what you need. And of course there is a way, but you have to look a lot and think. Usually time management games when in relaxed mode can be dull, as the main challenge is to make it in time.. Not here. It is challenging of itself. Add to it that the graphics are gorgeous and this is a real winner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Remake but Better It's colorful with good graphics and animation and is essentially a remake of Tales of Inca 2 - New Adventures. It differs some what in interfaces. I have yet to finish the last level of Tails in 3 star time where in Heros I was able to do it the second go around although it is just about as complicated. I was able to finish all levels of Heros in 3 star time in normal mode. It was very challenging. What's better of Heros is the mood music is much better and more motivating. There are no puzzles or easter eggs. So give it a try, you may really like it. I hope they have a collectors version of this game in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Enjoyable TM Game For a Standard Edition (SE) game, I thought this game had a lot of potential and I wasn't wrong. The various levels became more complex and at times I was scratching my head at how I was going to move forward in some levels. It took me a bit of searching but, managed to figure the levels out. So much going on in each level that it held my attention. I liked the music. One of the music bites didn't seem to go with the Egyptian theme and sound more like a spy movie from Mission Impossible. Not that big of a deal. The visuals were clear and color perfect for desert scenes. The characters were charming and the villain very dark and foreboding. I enjoyed this charming game and will play it again. The

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just the right amount of challenge. I love this format of game. This one was just right, with repeated attempts on levels I got the three gold stars on every one. I know the difficulty is a personal thing but for me this was just right.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Game but improved..a little. I recently bought Heroes of Egypt and thought it was a great game, and I read it was a series and bought Heroes of Rome. Just a little FYI. Please make a choice which game you want to buy because they are the SAME GAME! Do not spend money on both. The levels are the same. I have never seen this by Big Fish and a little disappointed. They are still great games...but it is simply a new story over the same game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have a soft spot for this series. Quite good. If I compare this to the big players of TM world, this game is not the most outstanding one. However it is very strategic, it offers gameplay that involves you really thinking about your direction and the challenge is always very high. The graphics are a bit ordinary, but the tough timer and the 'don't make one wrong move' approach do make it enjoyable for me. Strategy is utmost. There are three modes of play relax, normal and hard, and you can actually toggle between them when you decide you 'give up' and wish to move on. I say this because in all of this series I found it near impossible to get to get the last levels done in timed mode. They were just too hard, and I am no slouch really. But I don't mind repeating levels and trying again paying more attention and learning from my mistakes. I appreciate the ability to control my own game so to speak by being able to toggle and move on, go back when I finish, and have by then become a master lol, and try once again. The characters are cute, they move smoothly, and if you are playing in 'multiclick' mode (also an option) your red advanced ticks will automatically turn green when you have gathered what they need. I quite like that also. There are priests who perform rituals and can often only gather their own special ingredients, bridges, holes, buildings, bushes, fishing holes, merchants etc common to most gather resource TM's. So not the greatest TM in existence, but it is an SE, and its good enough to keep me quite engrossed and pitted against the clock. There are rewards to gather too. Try the demo. I cant see how many levels there are, but history would suggest there are plenty as usual from this developer. Enjoy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Finally..... I love this type game, but unfortunately, there are not many to be had. This new TM is just another version of the previous 2 versions, same field layout but things have been moved around and screen reversed on some, so it makes you feel you're playing a new game, but I've played the others so many times, new is always welcome, no matter how little. Keep these coming and I'll probably always buy, but would be nice if you tweaked it a little more so it wasn't so similar

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprised for another TM Not often do you get 3 TM's in a row , that is fine for TM fans but feel they should provide for everyone by varying the games. As to the game I echo what Joybelle2 is saying. I quite like the fact that it is not up there with the top TM games yet this series has it's own style and challenges. Not happy that you have no idea how many levels there are but I am sure there will be enough. It is also not a CE so no decisions on which one do I get ? so am sure this will be good value for money. In the earlier games from this developer there was a lot of waiting for resources to restock. They seem to have fixed that now and I am enjoying this game. Try the demo and see what you think. As I always say if you start in relaxed then you can get further in to the game in the hour demo to give you a better idea, then after that you can set it to your own liking.
