The Legend of Eratus: Dragonlord is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE THE DRAGON As others have said this is a good solid Match 3 game. When you buy power-ups you still have to do matches of four to activate them. The only thing that I didn't care for was having to fight the "bad" dragons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I TRULY LIKE "THE LEGEND OF ERATUS: DRAGONLORD"! There is a definite storyline to this game. The graphics are bright, clear and colorful and there are many things you can earn to help you on your way. The tutorial is there, but isn't the usual pages of solutions. You have a definite goal to aim for, so there is purpose to your moves. So far, it isn't difficult at all...you can't choose "easy" or "difficult" so, so far, it is easy...but I can see it getting a little harder with each level. You and your dragon friend have a clear goal...Get rid of the fire engulfing the village, re-build the village and get rid of the evil dragons. Heck, with all that's going on with our precious planet and all our people, we don't need the stress of a difficult game...just a light challenge to keep our minds off of things for a bit. At least you should give it a try. Take good care of yourselves and those around you. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from POWERUPS AND OTHER STUFF Firstly, a helpful hint: To find the powerups: Click on the upgrades button. At the top left of the upgrades page there are three tabs: World (for purchasing upgrades) Tools (for purchasing powerups) Extra (for purchasing Avatar attire) I am quite enjoying this little game. It is NOT the fastest moving M3, but today its pace suits me fine. The gameplay, for me, is smooth with no lagging. The graphics are bright, clear and crisp. I really like the music, and find it soothing. The storyline is nothing really new, but I do want to see how it ends. As with all games, it comes down to whether you like it or not. I have already purchased the game.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from THEY CHANGED THE BOARD LAYOUTS BUT EVERYTHING ELSE REMAINS THE SAME The Match 3 games by this developer are really good...at first. The problem is, they offer a new series, The Enthralling Realms, The Chronicles of, and now The Legend of Eratus, but they are all the same game with the same features. The only thing that changed, besides the Title, is the board layouts which floored me because they never change those! They also reverted on the difficulty feature taking it back to an Untimed Mode only, why? This is a Swap type of Match 3 game, where you swap tiles to make matches of at least 3 identical elements. You must make matches over all of the Gold Cells, twice on Red Cells, and make the required number of matches of each Element shown at the right side of the screen. Elements inside of Bubbles, Morph (I think they appear when you make large matches, but I'm not positive) which allows you to pop the bubble when the desired element appears inside the bubble. There are the usual Obstructions of Chained or Double Chained Tiles that require one or two matches of whichever element is chained, and those infamous pesky Spiders have returned that will spin Webs over the tiles if they aren't removed by making matches under them. The webs can be removed by making matches with the tiles covered in webs. Some levels require you to collect Artifacts by dropping them off of the board as you make matches under them as well. The resources and Amulets you collect during the Match 3 levels are used to purchase Power-ups, and the power-ups are recharged by making matches of 4 or more tiles to fill the Mana Meter. The larger the match, the faster the Mana Meter fills. Resources are also used to upgrade Aurora's gear (Leather Armor~Knight's Armor~Dragon Rider's Armor) but the armor doesn't appear to reap any benefits? TOOLS (power-ups): *Axe: destroys a single element or chain of your choice. *Magic Pendant: destroys a 2 x 2 range of tiles. *Dragon's Tear: destroys a 5 tile horizontal line. *Dragon's Scale: destroys a 5 tile range horizontal line. *Rider's Hammer: destroys an entire horizontal line. *Rider's Staff: destroys an entire vertical line. *Spiked Shield: destroys tiles in a cross formation. *Rider's Spell: destroys all ties on the chose tile. *Dragon's Breath: Reshuffles the entire board. *Rider's Shield: destroys 20 random tiles. *Bomb: destroys a 9 x 9 tile range. *Dragon Soul: destroys a massive square radius. The Stars you collect on some levels allow you to progress the story about Arroura and her Dragon battling against the evil Queen who is using dragons to destroy villages, including her own. Each chapter has 4 story progressions, and each story helps to rebuild the Village. There are 5 Chapters total, and 20 Story Upgrades available, and you are required to complete all 4 restoration upgrades to unlock the next Chapter. I'm not saying this is a horrible Match 3 game, all of the Match 3 games by this developer are excellent, HOWEVER, they are all the same with the same features. The obstacles are the same obstacles in every Match 3 series game, the game mechanics are the same, even the power-ups are the same, they just give them different names from game to game. Therefore, I have already played this game several times under different titles with a slightly different plot, and for that reason, I can't give the game 5-Stars as a reward for repetitiveness! But IF you haven't played other games by this developer, I think you'll enjoy it :)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Eratus I was glad to see a match 3, my fav of games, but I found this one boring. The play is a little slow, which isn't good on match 3's. You can make upgrades to restore the village,, but it's nothing you can create or choose, other than you get to choose an upgrade. I didn't see any timers for the play, although it shows how long a time it took you to play a level. I didn't like the spiders,,,I've seen those too many times on match 3's. This game is very similiar to their other games as far as the lay out goes...plus the spiders, again. I won't be buying this one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cut to the Chase. . . It's another Match 3 game, much like the last Match 3 game that came out. In fact it looks eerily like the last one I purchased, and I don't need another. Please check it out for yourself.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from frustrating I have been on level 3-13 now for FIVE (5) Days!!! you don't get any tools to help you overcome things either. there are 5 individual vertical boxes and it gets stuck and you keep repeating the same thing over and over. I won't be playing anymore!!! have a tools place but it NEVER gives you any to use. Don't waste your money!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Could have been so much better This had the makings of being a good game but oh dear, where do I begin. The levels take forever to play as they are very slow and there are no instructions apart from the odd pop up but nothing to really explain how this works. I played 8 levels and not one offer of a power up. When you match 4 or 5 nothing just a bit of energy to fill up the ball on the left hand side which never seems to accomplish anything. If you go in to tools there are power ups to earn but how on earth you get them is beyond me.Where are the instructions.? The one thing I did like was the tiles in a bubble which kept changing tiles until you burst the bubble which would enable you to make a match but that's it. Very slow running game unless I am totally missing something here? How do you get the power ups?. Totally confused me I purchased a couple of upgrades but all that seemed to do was put out a fire etc on the map. A game like this needs instructions. Sorry but so not for me butt try it for yourself and see what you think.
