Rated 5 out of 5 by from FUN FUN FUN I have purchased all the previous summer adventure games and hoped there would be another before a year passed. This just showed up and I immediately bought it. It is fun and never dark and I just wish it was longer. I will buy all the future ones!! Just relaxing fun!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Different Not your typical HOG. Many fun little games in between the HOG. Sometimes these are so much more enjoyable, then the long storied, find the inventory, hop back and forth between scenes, and then get very few HOG. I really hope they make more of these. Thanks, I'm going to buy this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GOOD GAME IN A GOOD SERIES My review is based on the one hour demo plus having played all the other games in this series. The games in this series get better and better with each iteration. The beautiful pictures get crisper and the graphics are sharp. The hearts and GPS icons are getting more varied and better hidden. The items that need to be found are also more varied instead of the same ones over and over again. Some of the cons for the game is quality control. Misspellings and possibly wrong information detract from the game. For instance, U.S. President James Munro instead of Monroe and ice cream cornet for ice cream cone. Bad phrasing, grammatical and spelling errors detract from the info on each location. The matching mini-game is extremely monotonous, especially since it uses the very same items as in the other games. Great that the game allows you to skip mini-games without waiting. Since I am a HO fanatic, this game is a sure buy for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from FIRST SUMMER ADVENTURE GAME I HAVE PURCHASED! I have been very critical of this series because the graphics were pretty much void of any detail and the objects were never hidden and always larger than the skyscrapers they were sitting next to (notice I didn't say hidden next to) The developers have surely been listening because I was thoroughly engrossed in this demo, in fact, I was so "into it" that the abrupt ending of the trial surprised me and this is my sure-fire signal to buy a game because I know I will continue to enjoy the game. Besides...as some of you may have noticed lately, I started a movement to encourage BF to bring back Bonus Punch Monday by asking fellow reviewers to copy & paste #BRING BACK BONUS PUNCH MONDAY'S into the location area, and ta-dah, today is Bonus Punch Monday! There are 60 Hidden Object Scenes that can be played in a Timed or Relaxed Mode, but it doesn't seem to penalize you for misclicks or using the Hint feature. This is an old-fashioned Hidden Object Game where you are tasked with finding 15 Listed Items in each location, to earn up to 3-Stars. Each scene has a single Zoom Zone (as indicated by sparkles next to the diamond icon with 3 curves underneath) that contains the final 3 objects. You can improve your star rating by replaying the scenes, via the level map, but the objects to find are different each time you play. Each Scene has 3 GPS symbols to locate that will unlock the scene location and add the photo to your Album (60 Total) Each Scene has 3 Heart symbols that unlock 3 animal pictures in your Photo Album (180 Total) as well. After each Hidden Object Scene, you will play a Mini-game such as Spot the Difference, a Memory Game where you flip over two cards at a time, Mahjong, Solitaire Pipes, etc. I was surprised that they added some new mini-games and changed the order in which they presented them, which also shows they are paying attention to the reviews! I was a little disappointed that the first Spot the Difference was a really cool picture of a colorful house that they could have taken advantage of the house's features as the "differences" which would have been way more challenging than simply adding objects to the house as the "differences" ...huge missed opportunity :( The first scene was a little blurry and not very colorful, the scene selections are critical and I think they still need to work on that. The Beach Resort condos were beautiful and very appealing but it's difficult to hide objects in scenes that are that bright so perhaps somewhere between the two would be a great balance. The objects are much more proportionate, they are blended a little better, even the mini-games are more interesting, and that made the game much more fun than the last 4 games. Anytime a developer makes an effort to implement changes from one game to the next in a series, that proves to me that they are thinking about the player, and not just about the money, so when that happens, I'm willing to support that developer with my vote :) SUMMER ADVENTURE SERIES LIST Title***Release Date***Average Rating 1-Summer Adventure 1 (August 3-2018) 2.9 2-Summer Adventure 2 (April 8-2019) 3.9 3-Summer Adventure 3 (June 24-2019) 2.5 4-Summer Adventure 4 (March 3-2020) 3.3 5-Summer Adventure American Voyage (July 13-2020) n/a by: Imaginary Two Games

Rated 4 out of 5 by from You mean "Americas"? I played part of the demos for both of the old-fashioned hidden object games released in the past couple of days and found I preferred this one. Going by the game title and description, I expected this one to be a trip around USA but it's not. First scene was San Francisco but the 2nd was Toronto, Canada and the 3rd was Dominican Republic. That's as far as I got before stopping to purchase it. Perhaps what is meant by "American" Voyage is The Americas but as far as I know D.R. isn't actually part of The Americas so it's really a voyage throughout the western hemisphere? Why did I prefer this game over the other? Although I found the format of the other series a bit of a novelty in the first game, I quickly tired of it during the 2nd one which I didn't even bother to finish. That's just a matter of personal preference; I'm sure there are others who prefer the opposite. This one's pretty simple a la Park Rangers (although not quite as good). It's perfect for those times you want to play a simple, straightforward game for a little while but also amusing enough for longer periods of time depending on how you feel. The few minigames I played were easy (they can be skipped) and the hidden object scenes had a nice level of challenge -- objects mostly not too hard to find but not too easy either -- no frustration here. If you like playing a simple HOG in timed mode for more challenge you can do that but I purchased because it's a decent game for relaxing, family play.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun HOG! In terms of hidden object games, I personally don't like the ones where there is a storyline, typically set in a haunted house where you have to locate items in one room for use in another room, to solve a mystery. Maybe it's just me, but I find those types of HOG too tedious and frustrating because I can't remember which room I saw the later-needed item. In general, I find those types of HOG aren't fun at all, and I lose interest quickly. BFG seems to offer those types of HOG almost every day. Personally, I prefer the old-fashioned hunt-and-search in one scene, with interesting scenery and graphics, that isn't too easy, is challenging but doesn't require a magnifying glass to locate tiny items. Summer Adventures: American Voyage checked the mark on each of my favorite features for a HOG. It was a lot of fun! I wish BFG would offer more of these types of HOG games (as well as more time management games!), and less of the search-rooms-in-a-haunted-house-to-solve-a-mystery type of hidden object games!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost Liked It When I first started to play this game I loved the beautiful bright colors and how relaxing it was even playing in the timed mode. But once ALL the HO words were scrabbled and yet the puzzles did not get any harder, I started to get bored. It could have been a fun little adventure.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nothing Special Nothing Different Rather simplistic game. No real challenge. Nice way to spend some down time and let one's mind wander. Not for me but if one is looking for a game that is relaxing and somewhat calming this may be the game for you.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Another So-So Summer Adventure.... as in so easy and so just-the-same as the previous Summer Adventure games. I played the entire demo and saw very little change in anything, the graphics seemed improved but that was about all, except for some minor variation in the HOs this time. For me the game is boring but might be one someone would enjoy just for an easy, relaxing escape from a hectic day. As another reviewer pointed out, there is lack of quality control regarding spelling, grammar and phrasing. Each scene displays these errors and it just bugs me. There is the same variety of mini games as before and there are a lot of hidden objects to keep you occupied. There are numerous features available and the game runs smoothly throughout the demo. Some items on the HO list were very small, which may be frustrating for those with less than perfect vision. I found minimal challenge in the games and HOs, so beginners will not be terribly tasked while playing. Some of the objects were disproportionate which was kind of silly. The music was just okay. Overall, I think the game is fine if you are not looking for much of a challenge and maybe need a break from your usual fare. So far I've not found enough to satisfy my entertainment needs in the Summer Adventure games, though I keep trying the demos. I do recommend it if you are not as picky as I am.
