The Forgotten Land is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from very nice game I was a little concerned because of neg reviews but this game is really quite nice. I am having fun playing it. It was a buy for me before demo was up. It is not a typical match 3 game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Something for various tastes If you are looking for something a little more than just the usual match 3 this is the game to get. You have a mixture of games here which make this very interesting' The main emphasis is on battles where you take it in turn with your enemies to match Gems, but there are standard match 3 board puzzles with shovels to find to unlock other areas. Nothing we have not seen before but put together with the Battle scenes, Memory games, match pair games this adds up to a very interesting game. Others are better than me at describing the details. There are 3 mode settings, Normal, casual and relaxed. This is a very strategic based game and not a fast game but by interlocking all these games together keeps it entertaining. Something for most match 3 tastes here. I have reached level 30 and things are being added all the time. At first it takes some getting used to and I am on relaxed which is fine for me as even on relaxed strategy is required. I will complete this on relaxed so I get to know the game and then up the level although you can change the levels during the game so may be worth experimenting. For me this is one of those games that holds the interest from the start wheras a lot of games recently take a time to get going. You can not skip any of the levels so if you are someone who does not like for example memory games this may put you off however at the moment they are short and for me it is fine. I can well imagine that this is going to get very challenge especially if you are playing on limited moves but as I have already said you can alternate it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Forgotten Land I played for 30 minutes and personally really like this game. There are 98 levels with 3 levels of difficulty. I played on Casual. When you exit the game and re-enter, it offers you to start a new game or continue. Controls are very easy and the game runs very smooth. You really have to concentrate on moves to hit opponents without running out of moves. Your goal is to make rebuild a camp after the carriage you are riding in crashes. It's a buy for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a fun game I was very surprised that I thoroughly enjoyed this game. It's fun to challenge the opponent. You have to think about your next move opposed to just switching tiles around. I love the sound effects. I tried playing on normal and I found I did not have enough moves, so I started over on casual. I suggest you try that mode. Play the demo for sure. It's a buy for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Playing in the Dark I like this game, haven't gotten my fill yet, so, will have to buy it. Different levels to play on, it's not dark, keeps a person busy, from battles to little games, which are more than easy, so far. Fun game.....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not as 'dark' as it says. This was described as 'dark' in the promo, whereas I found it rather 'light' compared to some battle games with gruesome enemies. All have a little bit of character about them, and they dont seem too dark and scarey to me. It is a limited moves game, but you can play in relaxed with as many moves as you like. As battle games go (and I admit I usually dont like them much).. this is well put together and you play in teams often and you all have different skills..such as healing each other or delivering an extra hard punch etc. You get bombs and dynamite and other explosives on making large matches, and you charge your 'skill colour' by matching those colour tiles ..then you can help your team mates or yourself if battling alone. The tiles are colourful, and its easy enough to play a few levels and build your village which has quite good graphics.. There are also achievements to chase after. And minigames as well that are basically 'clutter' matching. I dont know whether it was a glitch or more likely my computer, but I did find on some levels I began to move in slow motion..it fixed once I started the next level..but returned sometimes too. So absolutely make sure you try the demo to make sure it runs well for you. Its is a battle game involving a fair bit of strategy watching how the tiles will fall, not just matching things, so as not to line your enemy up with a weapon to use. All pretty good really.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from unique I might say it's not for every body. It took me a while till I got used to the system. Not easy to understand and challenging. But if you like puzzles, you might find it fun. Dark theme was OK with me. It sure is unique and change from usual.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wish I Could Continue On Sounds like no one else has had problems with the puzzles where you light a fire from one place to another. I managed to get past one by pure luck but now I'm just stuck. I already bought the game, so unless I can figure this out I'm dead in the water. Any one have hints on that game? I'd like to skip the level but apparently I can't.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Impossible I am so disappointed with this game, initially I thought it was probably the best game of this genre for a very long time, but then I reached level 47. I have found this level impossible to complete so I have given up playing the game. All previous levels I have completed with three runes, so I could not have higher levels of skill for my players, such a disappointment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fun at first, impossible bosses mid game on I should have read the reviews before buyng this game. I don't usually buy games but I was really enjoying this one when the trial ended so I decided to go ahead and get it. Shortly after purchase the boss fights became impossibly difficult so I restarted on casual difficulty and when I got back to the same lvl they were still impossible. If there was a way to continue to improve your heros until you could beat the bosses that would be one thing but you are stuck if you can't get past that lvl.
