Fatal Evidence: Art of Murder Collector's Edition is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 40.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better than the review average! I didn't immediately try this one because the aggregate review score was 3.5 or so. But when I hated the much higher rated Elf game, I decided maybe I should go with my gut. So glad I did. Interesting mini games, varied versions of HO scenes, some original uses of objects and a decent (and thankfully elf-free) plot. The bonus game gave us an entirely new story. Best HO game I've played in quite a while.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fatal Evidence - Yes! I have been waiting for a great Domini game and this is it! Great graphics, lots of different scene's, games and it took a long time to play it. All of the things I love in a game! I will leave the storyline to others to relate but I think this game, is what us long term BF members have been waiting for!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Suspense Game I was lucky enougn to play a "sneak peak" of this game. I found it to be a very good suspenseful game. There are Morphing Animals to find in various scenes, Painting Pieces to find in various scenes and "coins" to find in some Zoom Scenes. Hope you enjoy this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Addition to a Fine Series The Fatal Evidence detective series has become my favorite Domini game and the Art of Murder demonstrates why, a strong story. All murder mysteries have essentially the same plot line but it is how the story is told that makes the difference (the Bonus Chapter is one of the best I have played). For the most part, Domini integrates story with game play quite well, although there is some back and forth. There is always a lot to do in a Domini game, and I find it enjoyable. I like this series because I am a murder-mystery fan, and this story is a straight up whodunit. Well done, Domini! It seems to me that in Domini's recent game offerings, the storylines have more depth and solid plot twists. I have a new appreciation for their games.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Serial Killer At Large and he has personally requested YOU to hunt him down! I can imagine this will turn into a pretty good crime adventure, I like the storyline with the connection between the killer and the detective. It will be an interesting cat and mouse chase. This game has exceptional graphics and the colors are fabulous. The characters are well rendered but facial expression was lacking. The voices could have displayed more emotion which would've enhanced the interactions between the characters. But it was not a distraction, by any means. I. right away, had to deal with locks and keys in the demo. Thankfully, they were easily found and the tasks weren't delaying my progressive. The items for inventory were quickly put to use, so there was no backup. A couple of things made no sense, like why the detective used a glass cutter to open his own cabinet and he travels to a crime scene on a rusty old bicycle. But silly things are seen in every game, aren't they? Some more so than others! I loved the interactive items in the scenes. for instance the kite and the flower pot. Click on everything and it's possible that something unexpected might happen. Some of the items I needed seemed to be rather small, but not too troublesome. I encountered only one HOP in the demo, stopping 15 min early I may have missed more. This one, however, was presented on a computer and I enjoyed it a lot. I played one mini-game, a maze, incredibly easy. There is an alternative Match 3 game available, as well. The map was found in living room, a very good one which had swift response and also showed any collectibles in each location. That's a feature I always appreciate. Also a tab pops out when one is found, to help you keep track. As usual. Domini has supplied us with a fun variety of collectibles and some are quite small, I liked the origami objects. There are origamis, art supplies, notes and coins to collect. The 92 coins are for purchasing office items. There are achievements that are the usual in most games. I don't know if there are more goodies, as I haven't purchased the game yet. My main concern is with the number of puzzles and HOPs within. A huge amount of mini-games will keep me from purchasing. So, I've got my fingers crossed that there is a good balance of HOPs and puzzles. I want to enjoy a HOPA game that actually contains what the category indicates. I like mini-games but an abundance of them really turns me off, especially with the shorter supply of HOPs. I liked that we can choose either Easy or Hard mode for the games. Some of them are real sticklers and I haven't the patience to forge on, after several attempts at solving. Also, was happy to find that the Hint and Skip times were adjustable to ZERO seconds. That works for me, big time! This game has the usual variety of play modes, so you can choose your degree of challenge. This feature is nice because it can be enjoyed regardless of skill level. Art of Murder presents a theme that sparked my interest. I always love mystery and crime stories, and this one will hopefully end up in my collection.
