Rated 4 out of 5 by from Be Alert at all times, but..... This new Steampunk-looking Hidden object game is different from all the basic others. I even had to do one over because of the different techniques of the game. You have to be on your toes and it works your memory, which is great for 50+. The one thing that I didn't like about it was that I could not find the place to pick my own avatar. If I'm on a voyage I want to be a voyager, not a CAT! I enjoyed the game, but since I can't be a Steampunk voyager this game will be on my waitlist.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Voyage to Fantasy I enjoy playing games through new developers but this could have done without rushing around and it could have done with a relaxed mode. Some targets were easier to do than other targets. I have been used to playing games with cluttered scenes so this was more of a challenge for me

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Different Style HOG offering a refreshing change from the typical hidden object game. At first the objects practically jump out at you but the challenge increases as the game progresses. There are a variety of HO styles which add more interest to the game. I was glad to find it more fun than I expected. There is a 3 star goal, a different objective for each level/mission and 2 emeralds are awarded for your success. Your pre-determined number of points are part of the objective and if you succeed are posted on a leaderboard with 5 fake components. There are 4 boosters, each unlock at a different level and more of each can be purchased, prices not sky high. The combos required for each objective are not so easy to accomplish. The graphics are not great and the dark colors of the backgrounds make it difficult. The replay option will be used for sure through the entire game. All levels can be replayed to better your score. No special options, the written dialogue isn't extremely lengthy and shouldn't be ignored as it contains instructions. You can access a board that shows your accumulated achievements. The earned emeralds are displayed at top of screen. I'm sure someone can describe the game much better than me. The demo moved along at a good pace allowing for a good sampling of the game. It has enough levels to make it a long one if the objectives continue to present adequate challenge. I did enjoy the demo, hope you do as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from been there done that Hi Fishies, This is not a new game. I purchased it from Yahoo back in 2015. That might explain some of the seemingly old style looks of it. Yes it is timed, however a player can replay until getting it right. The replays have most of the same items as the failed game so you can finish it faster and win that level. I do not know if there are more parts to this game, as I do not use Yahoo Games anymore. Yes it is different but isn't that the fun of it?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super Fast, Super Challenging! There is a Skip Level Option A definite purchase for me! Yes, it's super fast with no timer options and I have been playing games for years and consider myself to be quick, but I had to play a few of the "missions" over a couple of times to complete them. I enjoyed that and the challenge. And yes, you can skip a level after not being able to complete a level 3x (evil oil lamps! Grrrr!), you have the option or skipping the level using your emeralds that you receive as a bonus for completing each mission. I play a lot of games like this on my IPad and the objects are much smaller and harder to discern what exactly you are looking at so I find this much better. This isn't an easy hidden object game with a generous timer so it's best to keep replaying levels over if you didn't finish on time. There are "find the difference" levels which I am not quite that great at in any game (I tend to find 9 or 8 out of 10 before I really have to search in most games, give up and use a hint lol) but fared better with those types of levels in this game so I didn't find them that difficult and a clutter type level which is the easiest of all types of levels in this game. If you enjoy a challenge, try it and see if you enjoy it but as I said, I had to play quite a few levels over but I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Senior I am a senior and thought this game was not only fun, but it was also different. So you young "whippersnappers," don't be so quick to judge our abilities. :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from i'm exhausted wasn't expecting a timed HOG i used a free game coupon when this came up on tomorrows game today when it did,so there weren't any reviews posted,i've hesitated posting what i think of it because i didn't like it. i didn't mind the feeling that the game looked & felt like a redesigned match three game,i did and do mind the timer, i don't use a plug & play game controller, or any of my computers other niffy features, like voice control.i use my mouse which misses every now & then.. i know my fault, brings down my scores.when playing timed games. won't matter how many sequels, how well packaged and presented they are this series isn't for me. again this game left me feeling exhausted from trying to keep up with the timer which wrecked the seek & find the hidden objects for me.i'm closer to seventy than sixty maybe that will explain my personal dislike for timed hidden objects,or for puzzles that have nothing to do with a games story. i'm only in the games second chapter and doubt i will bother to finish it,or the game itself

Rated 3 out of 5 by from DISAPPOINTING I really liked the concept. Old school stuff which is for me. It's a lot harder than it looks. I like a challenge, but what I didn't like, and why I passed on this,is that you had to go really fast to make each mission. I like to RELAX when I play games,so this just wasn't for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from THIS WOULD BE A FANTASTIC GAME IF IT HAD DIFFICULTY MODE OPTIONS Not everyone has a need for speed and this game would be awesome if it had a casual mode that had a more lenient scoring system. Not only are you tasked with finding the listed items at a break-neck speed, but you will have to find the listed items with nearly 100% accuracy or there's no way you'll earn all 3 Stars! I actually enjoyed the demo but afterward, I discovered that it was nearly impossible to earn all 3-Stars even with 100% accuracy because of the speed required to keep the combo meter full. At first, I thought it was a cool feature to replay the scenes several times until I earned all 3 stars but eventually, it just became frustrating and many times I ended up "settling" for 2 stars after deeming a level 3-star impossible. This is yet another game that was originally a F2P app (released in 2014) converted to a PC version and offered as a "new game" The HO scenes still have the 2014 grainy vibe which makes it difficult to distinguish some of the items, however, they did a really good job of mixing up the HO scenes with a nice variety. One scene I found very creative used just two contrasting colors, red & white to cut out silhouettes of animals making it pretty challenging to find some items. I also enjoyed the scenes where you had to find listed items shown one at a time that were located in a pile of clutter. Each Hidden Object Scene has level goals that must be achieved, such as earning a specific amount of points, finding 2-3 Combo items (making quick back-to-back matches), or finding at least 15 of the same object, such as 15 Buttons. As you progress, Boosters are added to help you achieve these goals, such as a Magnifying Glass to remove 1 Random Item, Lightning to remove a Needed Item, a Shield Boost to protect you from Misclicks, or an Easy Combo Booster that gives you twice as much time to achieve combos. Additional Boosters can be purchased using the Gems you earn by completing Level Goals. Everyone wants to earn all 3-Stars, unfortunately, as you progress, earning these stars becomes nearly impossible, particularly in the scenes with grainy graphics. There was one scene in the demo portion that was an underwater Atlantis kind of scene where you are tasked with finding "out of place" items but several of the objects were unrecognizable, I couldn't tell if a blob was a pile of shells or an object that didn't belong so I basically had to memorize the objects by replaying the level several times.
