Dig The Ground 6 is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much fun! I am really enjoying this game. It is cute and simple, relaxing and fun. I am playing on untimed, of course. I have always liked the chain type match games and this one is very good. The question mark at the top left of the screen gives you all the instructions you need as the game is not very difficult to get the hang of. The eye shows you the squares that need clearing in some scenes. I like the levels where you get the detonator to go to the dynamite...just a little difference once in a while. Also, you can make BIG explosions! It is a pleasing and relaxing, albeit mindless, time waster.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a pleasure I could barely see the video & thought this is not for me! but thought I had to download it to see what it WAS all about! I am sooo glad I did - I was gleeful when I discovered it was match 2, & you could join the chains/gems in ANY direction. There are instructions but I didn't see them & so far it was easy to work out (even @ 80 )- although you are told to move the dynamite to the plunger but it is the other way round & took a little doing. One thing is when you click a gem the screen darkens to show you all the same colour gems. You could just relax & have fun matching the Gems until you get rid of all the blue squares etc or you could be more strategic - there doesn't seem to be any scoring involved just achevement - there are goals eg crates, dynamite, a van, chains & more Maybe a word of warning - there is a very watery level which could make you feel a bit "off" due to movement This game reminds me of so many other types of games but all combined in this one - which I think is great. This is just a precis so there is more for you to discover I am off to purchase! ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love to Dig the Ground I already have #3,4,5 of this series so I added #6 with no hesitation. This is not the classic M3 game, as you will see if you try it out. It's a chain match and you can match as few as 2. Depending on what goal you are striving to achieve, short matches are sometimes more productive than long matches in this game. You do need to come up with some type of strategy as you progress through the levels. One thing I really liked about this version is that you can choose what kind of items you want to match - jewels, flowers, food. That's a great addition. I like this game series because it's a bit outside the box and the developer has continued to do a good job of keeping the games fun and innovative. I am, as always, grateful to other reviewers who go into greater detail since that isn't most generally my bailiwick here. I think the explanation of how to get the fire from one certain tile to another certain tile is explained better here than in some past versions for those who are new to this series. This is one of those games that really suckers me in when it's late and I should go to bed - I keep saying to myself "Just one more level." Two hours later I'm still playing more than "just one more level."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My First Time Digging! I've always passed this game over, thinking it would be tedious and chain matches are not to my liking anyway. However, today, thought I'd give it a try, looking for something different to pass the time. I was pleasantly surprised at how much fun it was, the demo seemed over in a flash. The instructions were very easy to understand, had no problem catching onto how it works or how to employ the explosions. I found that strategy plays a good part in your success. The tile images were cute, the game was very colorful, the goals were not unreasonable in difficulty. The minimal tools were enough to get me out of a couple of sticklers, but I really was able to maneuver the game quite well on my own. I enjoyed the challenge of bringing the fire to the dynamite . Also keeping the fire tiles going was a wee bit taxing until I understood the gameplay a little more. Just as I was ready to make the big "tah-dah" and pat myself on the shoulder for job well done, the demo ended. So I think I'll be buying this game and hope it picks up where it left off. It is claimed to be 10-12 hrs long, not a bad value but a perfect chance to use an expiring coupon. It was fun, I was okay with the chain style, the game was not boring as expected, nice bright graphics, no glitches. I'm glad I tried the demo and found something a little different from my usual preferences that wasn't a disappointment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am enjoying this game but I do not know how to change the mode. The info says two game modes but all I can see is timed. Very confused.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dig The Ground 6 I enjoy playing the games in this series because the games get harder and they make me think about my moves more and obstacles get harder to get rid of and that is a good thing for me

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm a fan of this game. I was a little reluctant but decided to try the trial. I love this game. It takes a few levels to get accustomed but once I got the hang of the game, I loved it. I purchased it after playing the trial. It's a lot of fun. I'm hooked on this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent...But with one caveat I really enjoy the Dig the Ground Series... However, the instructions are vague. I was frustrated with the dynamite to the plunger and how to get it there. I finally figured it out. Also with the wood side tile matches were not clear. I figured that out too. Otherwise a great game and hopefully the next game will come out with better instructions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I preferred the previous game but still good My main concern with these games is they are becomming very samey. I do have all these games and this last one is really not that much different from the previous. I still like it but come the next one I will have to think if it is worth purchasing. What I so enjoyed about the previous one was getting to the bee before it buzzed off. This time we have cars you need to get fuel to before they break down. Different topic and I do like it but it needs a bit more difference especially if we are going to get more in the series. Enjoy
