Join Noah and his family on an epic match-3 adventure and experience the ark story in a new way!

Noah is a good, devout man living a quiet life with his family, but his life is changed forever when he receives a holy vision from God. The rest of the world has fallen into such darkness that God intends to cleanse it with a great flood that will wipe away all the evildoers who have strayed from the correct path.

God instructs Noah to build a great ark capable of housing two of each kind of animal, in order to save them and bring them safely through the flood. It will be a tremendous task, one that sounds impossible for a single family to complete.

Yet Noah has great faith, and he trusts in God’s word. Together, he and his family begin the necessary preparations to build the ark before the flood arrives…

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The New Chronicles of Noah's Ark I enjoy playing games through this developer because each time there is a new game the levels get harder and I enjoy a good challenge I still prefer to play these games untimed because I hate timers

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleasant game There are two modes of play, timed and relaxed. I play relaxed. The tiles , which picture various animals and vegetables, are easy on the eyes and fun to play with. There isn't a lot of dialogue, but what there is, makes sense for the story. I played for 45 minutes without sound, so I don't know what it is like.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A fun and relaxing way to pass the time I don't normally like match-3 games, as I usually just find them boring. But, I enjoy Biblical stories and was curious to see how this developer handled the Noah's Ark story, so I played the demo and enjoyed it enough to buy the whole game. I used a free credit and felt it was well spent. I would have been happy to pay the full price for this game. I liked being able to cash in stars earned to "purchase" upgrades to the ark as the story progressed. I played on the timed setting and found that I could beat most levels with only one or two tries. A few levels did give me a challenge and took multiple tries to beat, which I found to be a good mix of easy and challenging for me. I enjoyed most of the voice acting and found that the actors did a pretty good job of imparting some emotion to their limited dialogue. The graphics are clear and pleasant to look at. I absolutely loved hearing music from one of my favorite composers, Adrian von Ziegler! That was a real treat for me. I just wish they'd used more of his repertoire. It seemed that only the same 3-4 songs were used over and over. Overall, I felt this was an enjoyable game. It took me a few days to complete it, playing maybe an hour or two a day. I would have liked to see detail on the inside of the ark as we build it, or have each grouping of upgrades broken down into smaller groups, so we have more goals to meet. I definitely would have liked to have heard a larger variety of songs. If those conditions had been met, this would have been a 5-star game for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Noah's Ark I like this developer and my only problem was that I prefer to buy my own power-ups rather than the game supplying them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Have we met Noah Before ? Bear in mind this developer has already done the Chronicles of Noah's Ark. This is the NEW Chronicals of Noah's Ark so they would need to do something a bit different ? Yes and no and for me, I prefer the older version. Yes this has a few changes, no more waiting for Mana to build up and we do have a timed mode. You no longer have to purchase upgrades for tools only the Ark. Sounds better right ? Well I struggled with this new conception. Instead of Mana you are given a handful of bonuses to use and I do mean a handful. Maybe this gets better the further in you get but I was not prepared to purchase to find out. This is a strange thing, if you match 5 you get a bomb but if you match 6 nothing then further on you get nothing to match 5 and of course without mana to keep getting bonuses you are stuck with what they offer you which is very mean. Use these wisely as you can soon run out then you are forever trying to make matches with very little gain and you do not seem to get many match 5 opportunities. So I found this game rather slow and for me I would rather have the Mana and choose my upgrades. I think they have made an effort to change a few things but for me, not for the better. I always find their boards a bit slow, even more so now. I am middle of the road with this one and why do another Noah when you have already provided us with a similar version beats me. Try the demo.you may like it I give an extra star for trying to change things.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from much better They have improved the game. It has a decent timer now and it's more challenging. The levels get harder as they go. The reason I gave it 3 stars is for 2 reasons. I don't like when the symbol starts changing from one to the other. It's annoying and distracting. Also, I would have liked to see an option for 'moves' as well as the timer. It's much more relaxing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from THIS IS ACTUALLY BETTER THAN THE LAST 20 OR SO GAMES BY THIS DEVELOPER! If we could give partial Stars on our ratings, I would give the "New" Noah's Ark a 3.7 for several reasons, but mostly because it has a Timed Option. After 4 or 5 levels, I started to notice a bit more challenge, far more than the last several Match 3 games by this developer. The Timed Option only gives you about 5 minutes to complete each level so as I progressed, I was having to replay some of the levels...even more amazingly, I found myself engrossed in the game. It was frustrating to lose a level yet I was fascinated every time I had to replay a level because "challenging" is not a word I have ever used to describe the gameplay in Match 3 game by this particular developer! If you don't like the challenge of a Timed Match 3 game, Relax...they still have the easy-breezy Relaxed Mode available. You can earn up to 3-Stars per level, and the stars are used to Upgrade Noah's World, as usual, 4 Upgrades are required to unlock the next chapter. In my opinion, they made a huge mistake by not allowing you to Upgrade Noah's Ark! Who cares about seeing a tiny section of barren land being filled with uninteresting things? It would have been much more appealing to "build" sections of Noah's Ark, or purchase animals 2 by 2 which would give the player that "I'll just play one more level" feeling because you would be anticipating the completion of the Ark, or looking forward to adding more animals on board the Ark, don't you think? (obviously, the developers don't think) Usually, this series requires you to purchase Tools (powerup bonuses) but this time the Bonuses are introduced on various levels. You receive 2 of each Bonus so I'm assuming you can purchase refills if you run out? It appears they only offer the use of two Bonuses (Two By Two lol) at a time, although they do vary from level to level. The Hammer removes a single Tile or obstacle. Noah's Staff clears 5 Horizontal Tiles. The Axe clears 5 Vertical Tiles. The Crystal clears an entire Row of Tiles, eventually, you'll earn bonuses to clear an entire Vertical Row, and a Shuffle feature, etc. They have added small, medium, and large Bombs as well when you make matches of 5 Tiles or more, however, you cannot swap a bomb with an adjacent tile like most Match 3 games, you can only click to detonate the bomb where it stands (this needs tweaked but is a great addition!) There are interesting Obstacles, such as Vines, and Spiderwebs which require you to make matches with whichever tile is obstructed within the obstacles. There are Wooden Crates that may or may not have Parchment Paper Cells hidden behind them. The Paper Parchment is equivalent to a Gold Cell which requires a match made on them to remove the Parchment. I'm not sure who is in charge of Quality Control for e-FunSoft Games but there were several instances where I made matches of at least 5 Tiles but never received a Bomb of any size and several instances when I made a match on top of a Parchment Paper Cell yet the Parchment was not removed (whether it had an obstacle on top or not which requires a second match) This is one of the reasons I did NOT give this game a higher rating! Always happy to help out, wink, wink, ;) ;) I'm easy to find lol...Everyone is welcome to join us on my new Forum at thewoodsforum.boartds.net

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Match3 HoHum This Match3 is pretty much as it sounds. Earn points to help Noah build a house and land that will get flooded out. The graphics are mostly clear unless an item is hidden by a spider web and you can't tell what it is you need to match it up with. It's a decent time filler. There are some power-ups but nothing too new or exciting going on here. Nice time filler. As always I say try before you buy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Why another one I played part of the demo but could not get into it. I played the first one just fine, but was disappointed when there were no animals to see. I do not know if there are visible animals or not, but that would make the first and second game even better. I agree with another player who said Why Make Another Game, when there already is one. To make a second one, it should have the townspeople show up more often. Also, you should be able to see the animals get in the ARK.
