12 Labours of Hercules XIII: Wonder-ful Builder Collector's Edition is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always a challenge and I am really enjoying this one I do have a couple of usual dislikes about this game but entertainment value this is a really fun challenging game. For some reason this developer never explains exactly how many extra levels you get for A CE and I am sure more people would be more interested in the game if they knew what they were getting. I did play the previous CE game to the end and once I had played it I was Fine with the extra levels. All in there were 12 extra levels and as far as I can see the same applies here. You can alternate from the 3 modes available so if you are struggling on one mode you can change it . What I do not like about these later games and never will do is the strategy guide which consists of blue arrows and more a hinderance than a help. I could also do without a flag telling me where the hidden object is but that is just me. There is always a lot to do in these games and they have added a fisherman to this, apart from that it is very alike the previous game but so enjoyable and different scenery etc. If playing in timed you really need to work out your strategy and you may need a few attempts to get 3 stars as the guide is about as much use as a hole in the bottom of a boat. It is nice to have a new TM to entertain us. Enjoy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lack of new features...but as always frantic and funfilled This beloved series has so many features that I tend to forgive that there are not many new ones in this as the fun factor is as always top notch. I nearly took a star off for the amount of levels that were very simplistic at the start and the fact the only strategy guide are arrows that you must follow and nothing laid out in steps, but the smile on my face and the frantic pace keeps me loving it. (Developers do please come up with a new novelty next time??) The artwork in this one is really good, and you can turn the arrows off. I did notice the puzzle pieces needed to make the jigsaws and unlock the bonus levels..are very varied. Some are huge and the flag gives away their general location. (I guess to compensate that they are not marked on anything) There are the underground levels, the heroes to free in order to complete some tasks and unblock or magic the saplings so you get more food, and all the usual food, wood and gold buildings..the infamous 'pills'..for speed and spawn...and the side bonuses...in fact the only new thing I came across was the artwork. Cerberus has new fancy looking ghosts to chase away..and Hercules has road cones to clear not just rocks! lol. So nothing spectacular to announce...just our usual familiar fun game and as fast paced as ever for those playing timed. (there is a relaxed). I really did become completely absorbed in each level once the tutorial pace was over. Try the demo always....Enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Same yet fun Hercules strikes again! So, yes, the game is much the same as all the others. Still, it's a lot of fun to play. I have to say my only complaint is that they've made Hercules seem like such an idiot! But that seems to be the way with many of these types of games. The game play is the same and nothing has really changed. You do have to think your way through a few of the scenes, but it's not that difficult. It's the perfect game for just relaxing and chilling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lucky Number 13 of the 12 Labours! Well, my concern with the 12th installment was: "well, after 8 1/2 years of Herc, is this gonna be it?" Answer: obviously not! Yay! If the formula works, stick with it! Same format and standard resources, which is comfortable and familiar and can help you get gold time. Choosing "expert" mode has that "developer's record" feature I always aim to beat, and occasionally even make. There are 2 other modes as well. You can turn off hints, music and sound, switch to your system pointer and disable screen shaking. Graphics are a bit more imaginative this time versus the last one, and are always a visual pleasure while playing. Feel free to click on anything, a key or bush or whatever, as this not only adds to your score but can uncover a puzzle piece to unlock bonus levels. It's also amusing to shoot the lambs and turtles right into the sky. Cool game as usual. Did Herc get a face-lift or something?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great, Relaxing... but crashed intermittently I have the whole series and was excited about a new one. Overall, I enjoyed the new game! My minor problem was that after every Bonus level the program crashed. this also happened intermittently on regular levels. Always just after all the characters exited the scene. I am running Windows 11 at latest updates. FWIW.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Saturated The graphics are good The game is fine but I am just saturated with the same thing over and over. Scenes change but the tasks are the same. Just bored with it. Waiting so long for a TM game to come out and they all seem pretty much the same anymore. I recommend the game its just not for me

Rated 3 out of 5 by from THIS ONE'S NOT FOR ME. Come on, developers, you can't keep regurgitating the same game over and over and over with almost the only change being the scenery, You know you have a loyal following, and you're exploiting that. You can do better! Please give us a Hercules game that's not going to bore us to sleep.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from DEFINITELY NOT CE WORTHY! I was completely bored by this game, in fact, I haven't been impressed with the games in this once-beloved series ever since they opted for giant Bonus Buttons and ditched the Strategy Guide. The tasks are boring and repetitive and little effort or thought was put forth as far as the resources are concerned. Every level involves clicking on several giant switches...not to be confused with the giant Bonus Buttons...basically, every scene has the same path blockers, square boxes, giant cheese wheels, a few stumps, and of course, tons of broken bridges. To make the scenes even less appealing, they used weird camera angles and split scenes that just look awkward...let's not even bother with mentioning the annoying music...oops You can play in a Relaxed, Casual, or Expert Mode. There is absolutely nothing new or exciting in this 13th edition of Hercules, same features, same repetitive tasks. This used to be an amazing Time Management series but now they are just ordinary, repetitive, and boring. They ditched the Strategy Guide a few games back to opt for a feature that uses a blue arrow to point to the resource or task in the correct order. Most of us only use a SG when we can't earn Gold after a few attempts and only want to use it to get us out of an occasional rut. Most of us do not want an arrow to hold our hand and walk us through the game exactly as the dev wrote the code...just saying... Collector's Edition Extra's: 5 Bonus Levels, 1 Super Bonus Level, 9 Wallpapers, 6 Movie Cutscenes, Hidden Puzzle Runes to complete 5 Puzzles (Cheesy Robot-Lord of Gears-Maintenance-Agent Hercules-Fishing) 24 Trophy Achievements, NO Strategy Guide just a blue arrow hint system. FYI: the SE version still offers 6 movies, hidden puzzle runes to complete 5 puzzles, and 24 achievements. The only difference in the CE version's extra's is 9 wallpapers, 5 BL & 1 Super BL and those annoying Blue Arrows! There's always something interesting going on at my new forum! If you miss chatting with fellow fishies from the Big Fish Forum days then grab a thermos full of coffee, throw on your favorite jeans & t-shirt, and lace up your hiking boots...ah who are we kidding...just keep your comfy fuzzy slippers on, and come chillax with us by the fire at thewoodsforum.boards.net

Rated 1 out of 5 by from How Can Simple Clicking Be Called A Game? I don't understand. It's literally nothing more than look at a wheel of cheese, click. Look at a pile of wood, click. This series is almost devoid of any thought, strategy or anything else. I'm ashamed of myself for having even tried the demo for 10 minutes.
