Sweet Solitaire: School Witch 2 is rated 2.2 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweet Solitaire: School Witch 2 I enjoy playing games through this developer and the Solitaire games are easy for me to play unlike some others that I play. I enjoy listening to the music on the games

Rated 4 out of 5 by from OKAY WE GET IT Yes, some don't like these games. However, based on prior reviews of 8floor games some people do and I'm one of them. Let us enjoy them. Some people like Time Management games, I don't -- so in other words to each his own.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plays like a phone app The graphics are cartoonish, like those on phone apps. Same old powerups, and to buy them, it takes more coins than you earn. Same chain solitaire with no extra objectives. No mini games, or things to build, to break up the monotony. Certainly not worth our monthly membership fee.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from IF THE DEVS WOULD ADD AN OPTION TO CONTINUE PLAYING AFTER REMOVING GOLD CARDS I WOULD GIVE THEIR SOLITAIRE GAMES 5-STARS It never ceases to amaze me of the vast amount of cookie-cutter games this dev spews out, they can't possibly sell that many? They never bother to change or add any features, they simply change the title and the graphics and pretend that it has a story (it definitely doesn't!) Every game has the same format, the same level layouts, the same repetitive music loop, and the same mechanics and features. Once again, this is a Solitaire version where the game ends once all of the Gold Cards have been removed, even if a hundred regular cards remain. Almost everyone wants the option to remove all of the cards from the board to receive a "perfect score" not just the Gold Cards! Most solitaire fans will play a level over and over until they remove all of the cards because that's the point of a Higher/Lower Solitaire game! For the life of me, I can't understand why they can't make an adjustment to allow the OPTION of continuing to play for points once all of the gold cards have been removed, how difficult can that be? Heck, I'd be okay with not earning any extra points, I just want to remove all of the cards, but the second you click the last Gold Card, it's game over as far as this developer is concerned, and seeing all those extra cards on the board drives me nutz, especially when that particular hand had several cards that could have been removed after the last gold card! I can assure you, if they added this option, I would give their solitaire games 5-stars every time! There are 20 Different Locations or Packs and each location has 10 Levels, scoring is similar to Bowling scores, in the event of a perfect score, the points from that level are added to the next, and so forth. You can choose from 9 colorful Card Backs and 3 different face card fonts, a traditional, a large font, and a themed font. You are always forced to begin the game in Newbie mode, which allows you to replay any hand, then, if you prefer, you can switch to the Professional mode which only allows you to replay the entire pack of 10 levels. Another annoying feature in all solitaire games by this developer is that the tutorial forces you to click a particular card with no other cards available, if you skip the tutorial there is always an option to make a really long chain...why would the tutorial suggest a dud move? I'm always reluctant to skip the tutorial just in case they have added or changed a new feature, but who are we kidding here, this developer isn't about to go the extra mile to create a new program, even though they would only have to write the code a single time and just sit back & reap the rewards of all their newfound fans! I also hate that when you remove a Bonus card with a Flower, it takes forever to explain what the card gives you, as it freezes continued gameplay to tell you what you won. Most of the time it gives you +499 extra points, but occasionally, a Joker, Mulligan, or a Shuffle that can also be purchased in the Shop (which only has a Joker, Mulligan & Skip purchase option). The bonus feature takes so long that removing two of these cards back to back is super agonizing and I'm tempted to not click on them if they aren't blocking a gold card! If this developer would simply take the time to code a tiny adjustment into their programs, I would love these games! It's become pretty obvious that games by this developer are only used for emergencies when BF doesn't have a new game to release because they are always super old releases that have been offered on other portals for years! Rated 1 out of 5 by from too much How many solitaire games can you come out with BigFish? You do know we can get them for free on apps. It's just too much. We need some variety. You can do better than that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What Have We Here? Another 8 Floor solitaire game. How exciting (NOT)! It's just like Sweet Solitaire from 2021. All they did was slap a "2" on the title and throw in a new make-believe story, and there you go! Another boring card game that feels like it came out of a time capsule. Nothing has changed and, of course, cookie-cutter is written all over it. Just a waste of time and $$. 8 Floor just doesn't get it or if they do they simply do not care! First of all It makes no sense to have a story that doesn't really exist!! The very sparse shop offers zip, 3 basic bonuses and pricey at that. And the biggest issue, always, the Gold Cards! It should be quite obvious by now that they are very UNPOPULAR. 99.5% of solitaire players want to clear the board all by themselves. We don't want or need help from the dev. The whole purpose of the game is to remove all the cards, even if it means multiple replays. There is no victory or gratification at the end if the game is manipulated in your favor. This game started out with 10 in the first level, 7 in the second, trying to prolong the level is aggravating. Eventually you have to give in to the Gold Cards. In the beginning you can succeed but as you progress it becomes impossible! Why this dev is so reluctant to make changes that will only enhance the game and greatly increase the star rating, is the mystery here. They've been with BFG for years and always read (or do they?) the unfavorable reviews. Their puzzles and solitaire games are dreadful, yet they keep cranking them out. Sure, there's a smattering of players who love the simple, no thought required, no-effort type games. But why ignore the mass of gamers whom you could gain by just making a few changes? Although the graphics in School Witch look out-dated, they are sharp and color is okay, a little dark. The card backs are very colorful. I love a variety of colors and art on the cards because it's just nice to have something pretty to look at while I'm playing. The fronts are pretty basic but that's to be expected with most solitaire games. I experienced no tech issues in the demo, but a couple of times more than one card flipped over and I couldn't go back to correct that, so I just started over. We still have the Newbie and Pro Modes. The music is never important unless it is nerve-grating, usually isn't a problem in these solitaire games. I play every demo just in case something different has been added. I guess I should just give it up! Seems nothing will ever change. I feel so grinchy every time I submit a one-star review but also feel that unsuspecting gamers should be aware of what they are getting, should they purchase any games from this dev. I'm sure there are fans of the Gold Cards, as well, because some of us love the simplicity and relaxing gameplay. We all have different tastes.
