Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hops Game with a Creepy Dark Tale Based on the completed game. Man, does this have some twists and turns. It is a very dark tale. I Loved it. It has 5 chapters + bonus. You collect 36 hidden drawings that look like graffiti. You collect 14 morphing objects in the hidden objects. There is a swing with a doll in the hops with morphs that stays there until you collect your morph. Morphs aren't in the guide and I think they should be. There are more hidden objects than morphing objects. I counted nineteen in the main game and six in the bonus chapter, so 25 hops. I really Loved the hidden objects they are pretty and great in my opinion. The first hops was really nice and they have a spinning carousel one, in the bonus I really liked the vending machine hops. Some hops are used more than once and I didn't mind. There are 18 mini-games. Some places I had to try all my inventory items because some aren't common sense. Snake alert for the sensitive. Some places may make you jump. You use a glowing orb in places. The bonus chapter is a continuation of the story. Try it for yourself to see if it fits you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ~~~TALES OF TERROR 4 OFFERS ONE OF THE BEST IN THE GENRE!~~~ You recently received a letter saying that your kidnapped brother is still alive and well and has been residing at the Artem family estate all these years. Will you be able to reunite with your long-lost brother or will fate to play another trick on you? The developers at Deep Shadow games with their obscure and creative minds have created a TRUE HORROR adventure in the spirit of Hitchcock's PSYCO! This is one terrifying and twisted story that you have to play entirely through to it's shocking conclusion in order to appreciate! You play the character Amy Leroy and the horror begins when you arrive at the Artem Estate, home to renowned sculptor Miss Joanne Artem and her devious butler Mr. Ramsay. While trapped in the estate looking for your missing brother you discover some deeply disturbing events and a letter written by the last victim begging for her husband Harry to come and rescue her from a serial killer on the estate. The year is 1925; you learn that from discovering a diary belonging to Joanne Artem where 15 years earlier a boy was kidnapped (presumably by Joanne) and the police have their suspicions when lab tests indicate conclusively that Artem cannot bear children. The story and gameplay just gets more and more intense as you proceed. So if you think seeing a BLOODY KNIFE during the demo play is shocking, you may want to turn back before playing further because it only gets more grizzly and bizarre. I decided to pursue this perplexing adventure, taking on Ramsay the butler who has booby trapped the entire estate and find ADAM. This gem is for the hardcore horror fans, not the faint-hearted. So if you enjoy really THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX and difficult puzzles and gameplay then this is your game! The bonus game is also relevant to the main story. In the bonus adventure experience "CONFESSIONS OF A RESTLESS MIND" and join Dr. Gibbs in the asylum where the serial killer is confined. I give this 5 stars with a "VIEWER DISCRECTION IS ADVISED" warning. Cheers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from UNCANNY SCARY ART OF HORROR! I didn't expect this, especially with so many games that promise something unusual and scary--This game delivers! I was content to play a good game--weird at best. However, with the old-game atmosphere and all the modern day bells and whistles, Art of Horror will leave you as it did me--a good old-fashioned scream Not sure if other reviewers were playing the same game or had the same mind set because you gotta put yourself there to appreciate the intensity. Game is intense so here's a warning. Wait, let me cover a couple details such as the game is quite lengthy. Took me three days to finish and the challenge wasn't easy either! Puzzles were creative, hidden objects were do-able and fun. Story is suspenseful. What else do gamers want? I have no idea and expected a more outpouring of positive reviews! Yikes! Don't save those reviews just for the show cased big names! Move over other supposedly, suspenseful games, Art of Horror will leave you looking over your shoulder and wanting more! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW!! What a Game! First time playing TOT Games! I am not disappointed. Played the DEMO version and it was packed with twists and turns. Did the Butler do it or Is the sweet little old lady spike everyone's tea with knockout drops and what for you may ask...you figure it out, but it will keep your interest on a high alert! Liked the graphics, storyline and characters. Mini-games are fun too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun but not challenging This is a nice comfortable game with unintrusive (thank goodness!) music, reliable controls, and amusing characters. Rescue a brother I haven't seen in 20 years? Why? I loved the demo and bought the game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love The Storyline! It is a good, solid storyline that will keep you captive. At least it did in my case. Just the trial version demonstrated what I think is a terrific game waiting for us. I have read some reviews placing it on the easy side, but it matters little to me if the story keeps me hooked...and it did! I really got the heebie-jeebies upon seeing a few unsettling things on the grounds of the estate. So far, in the demo, the only relief I had in this psychological thriller was a humorous moment involving a rat on the steps, and then a lovely cat sitting near a ruined old car. Reminded me of a previous pet. The graphics are nice and sharp, and are sporting colors that represent the scenes and evil atmosphere very well. Not much talking so far, but pretty sure the voices will all sound great. Sometimes inferior voices can take away from a good story. The music made me edgy, like something was about to reach out and touch my already jittery state of mind. I get caught up in games and movies because of my overly active imagination sometimes. Besides, sneaking around a creepy mansion without getting caught by these psycho killers is hard work.at my age. (lol) The puzzles and HOGs were very enjoyable, not terribly challenging. But there are different difficulty modes to tweek the challenges. I like trying the different modes just to see how much they do change. The morphs and hidden sketches were good. I found only a few in the demo. The sketches were the sticklers, I discovered not a one. Check out the really creepy dolls in the extras, the hidden eyes are involved. Yikes! Never liked dolls anyway! I loved what I have seen so far, so I will certainly buy this game when a good sale shows up. 5 stars seems to be an appropriate rating in my opinion. God Bless....
