Spirit Legends: Time for Change Collector's Edition is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty Art Deco and a T-rex Bird I really like the looks of this game. The tool bar is all Art Deco. The wheels on the moving city is so like a few movies I seen and it's so now. Balloon Ships in the scenery. It has some amazing creatures. It's a mystery. I liked all the hops and all the mini-games. Even the last mini-game. The challenge was perfect for me. Using the Bestiary, I only had to find and add three items. Decorating Priscilla's office was nice. I saved up for the biggest furnishing like the stain glass window, winding stairs and bird cage. Then add my next favorite things. I stopped to read all the new additions of the inventions with info and the morphing geodes with info. This came out December 2019 and playing it February 2020 made me like it more. Domini games are detailed and long. I'm slow because the gameplay is a puzzle in it self. I have to go constantly to the map to find available actions and repeat so the gameplay doesn't flow but they are great games but I can't play to many of their games in a row because it's so time consuming for me. I think it's high quality. The trial ends in the middle of chapter 2. There are 6 chapters + bonus. I used the T-Rex bird wallpaper for a few days. I would prefer scenes without character in my wallpaper but the T-Rex bird is cool. The concept art has only scenes but aren't finished. Tasks has all the notes you find. You collect 15 inventions, 15 morphing geodes and 31 Sapphires places. There are more than one sapphires when you pick up so it has 70 sapphires. I would like more collectibles. The bonus chapter is a prequel and you have young Helen and young Victor in the Monster Hunter's Academy. I'm tired of masked men. I'm not tired of Krakens, Leviathans, Golems and Carnivorous plants. I wished some days I had that fan invention on my shoulder. Replay 18 hops, 22 mini-games, 37 videos and 5 music. Wallpaper 15, Concept Art 16, Priscilla's Office, Inventions and Spirit Geodes. Achievements.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for Young Wizards It's a magical game so don't get turned off if Puzzles don't work out logical, many adventure-puzzle games on BF are not totally logical. I could work out each one by just tinkering with it and eventually solving it. This game is more forgiving in puzzles then many others. This game would be good for people of 7 on up depending on aptitude. 2 Easter eggs to find are Geodes and Inventions. Go to their gallery and click on them, they have a hidden story behind them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from What Is With The Fan Strapped to Thomas' Shoulder????? In my opinion Domini Games has almost hit bottom with this game. What were they thinking and why? I have nothing to recommend this game except the colors are beautiful and the graphics are very well done. The story line is awful and the puzzles were too easy even on the hard mode and I am only an intermediate player. Please play the demo before you buy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from CAN THERE BE BALANCE AND HARMONY BETWEEN SPIRITS AND HUMANS Completed Game approximately 7+ hours (including completion of all mini-games & CE Bonus Chapter) 25 Scene Locations + 10 in the CE Bonus Chapter Difficulty Range: Beginners It was bound to happen ? sooner or later, and the result of it ? happening was a hybrid spirit-human child ?. This child was the key to peace and harmony between the two races, but not everyone believed peace and harmony was possible. There will always be naysayers, always be those who fear change, those with an old-school mentality of "the way we did it back in my day" those with clouded vision who refuse to bend or see things from a new perspective, and you soon discover that there are two sides to every coin...and it's only your first day of class at the Monster Hunter's Academy! Gadget/Helper (5 times in the main chapter only) There is a Beastiary Book that allows you to banish various Beasts after collecting 3 key ingredients and playing an associated mini-game. The mini-game varies each time and it's not a horrible feature because it's only used 5 times. Morphing Objects & Collectibles: There are 15 Morphing Spirit Geodes with descriptions and 15 Inventions Collectibles some of which are very small and hard to spot because of their size. Each scene has at least one Zoom-Zone Sapphire of varying amounts which are used to purchase 15 items to decorate Pricilla's Office. The Collectibles and Morphing Objects are available throughout the Main Chapter as well as the Bonus Chapter (CE version) Hidden Object Scenes: There are 12 Hidden Object Scenes +4 in the CE Bonus Chapter with an optional Match 3 Game available. There are several variations offered such as Interactive Listed Items, Keywords in Sentence Finds, Listed Multiples of Item Finds, Find & Replace Items, Combo Finds, ? + ? =Horse finds, Listed Items x2. Mini-Games: There are 22 Mini-Games +8 in the CE Bonus Chapter, most of which can be played in an Easy or Hard difficulty mode. Five of the mini-games are associated with the Bestiary Book Gadget as well. Below are brief descriptions of some of my personal favorite puzzles from the game. 1-Use directional arrows to move the slider bar to pick up & place 2 symbols at a time to match the order shown. 2-Follow wires to get symbol numbers to enter code. 3-Guide the frog to water droplet & then firey hound by rotating the board and using arrows to move the frog to open squares. 4-Mover ladders and bridges by selecting available levers. 5-Connect clouds with the number of connections shown on each cloud. 6-Combine the correct amounts of each liquid according to the clues. Bonus Chapter: (Collector's Edition version only) Momma needs your help once again from an ancient evil that has been awoken in this lengthy bonus chapter that takes place over 10 Scene Locations. There are 8 additional Mini-Games and 4 Hidden Object Scenes, and you will pick up the remaining 5 Morphing Geodes, 4 Inventions, and 7 Sapphires which allows you to purchase the final office items in Priscilla's Office. Collector's Edition Extra's 15 Wallpapers, 16 Concept Art Pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks. 37 Cutscene Movie Videos, 22 Replayable Mini-Games, 18 Replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 33 Achievements to Earn. 15 Morphing Spirit Geodes, 15 Inventions, 70 Sapphires (used to purchase 15 items in Priscilla's Office, 6 Main Chapters +Bonus Chapter, and a Built-In Strategy Guide. Rated 3 out of 5 by from A Just OK game Based on the demo: A game for younger players ; not hard, rather simplistic ; you don't have to go back and forth too much, as every chapter of the story is segmented in 3 to 5 sceneries at most...No real challenge, could be boring. See by yourself.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Benifit of the Doubt! You are on your way to your first day at the Monster Hunters' Academy when you meet Thomas. Your mother is one of the professors and Thomas' father is Professor Tesla. You will have your special Beastiary Book to help you cope with monsters by collecting 3 different items and playing a different puzzle to defeat each monster. Before you even enter the building, you will be using your knowledge to defeat a Kraken and save Thomas. Things deteriorate when your Mother is kidnapped after the school head, Priscilla, is attacked. You will need to follow as quickly as possible to save her. Good stuff: The artwork is beautifully drawn and colored. The collectibles include morphing geodes, different inventions and sapphires to use to decorate, Priscilla's office. There are a variety of HOPs, puzzles, and mini-games, along with a nice assortment of CE bling. Bad stuff: I can buy into almost any crazy scenario that you want to pitch at me: fairies, vikings, aliens, spirits, ghosts, curses, portals through time and space. But I will not play along when you place ridiculous tasks in my way. Using a bird skull instead of tweezers - especially egregious when both Thomas and I had tweezers in our hands just minutes before - is just silly. And using a wooden plate holder to break a padlock? What were they thinking? There's more that I'll leave up to you to spot. Added to the odd speeches by the characters - "I don't want to hurt you." and then he leaves an enormous T-rex to growl at you! - leaves the player confused at best. Bottom line: The story wasn't bad, just not good. The game play was what you are familiar with from other games and developers. I did not feel any compulsion to continue after the Demo without any interest in the story or the characters. Please try the Demo for yourself. This may be just your cup of cocoa.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mediocre pretty much sums it up... *Based on completed game and bonus chapter* This was an average-length game with above-average graphics and somewhat poor choices in voice-overs. The mini-games and HO scenes were enjoyable at times, but were definitely easy. I like a relaxing game that doesn't strain my brain, so I had it on the easy setting. You could choose between easy and hard on each individual mini-game. Perhaps the hard setting presented more of a challenge. The storyline wasn't awful, but it was muddled at times and not an attention-grabber. Everyone's tastes are different, so maybe this is the game for you. It just wasn't the one for me. Try the demo and maybe you'll love it... or not. :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from bouncing book the most irritating feature of this whole game was the bouncing book in the lower right hand side. dreadful. this game should have been a great game , it was not. storyline was beyond laughable, some of the puzzles were great...some. i never go into great detail, save that for the other reviewers...safe to say, this was a huge let down.try the free trail first.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Trial: Not Impressed The graphics are bright and colorful, some of the characters are laughable and bizarre. The script writing was horrible and left me wondering why can't they write a few interesting lines? The story failed to intrigue me to finish the trial. There are way too many books, notes, and creations of objects, potions, etc. simply broke up the continuity of the game. I got tired of making stuff in order to move forward! Hidden Object Games are well crafted but many of the objects are hard to find and interactive combining of objects was sometimes vague. Mini games didn't seem to work well either. Not a fan of them I did try and even read instructions but gave up. This game felt like old school with too much dialogue and too many tasks and, of course, back and forth trips to find stuff and put it/them together. Hint transports, so that is a plus. Take a trip through the trial to see what you think.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Usually Love Collector Edition only but this was odd This was what everyone was saying, it is a good game for beginners to these games and it does have some beautiful scenery in it. My biggest problem is if I am buying a Collectors game than why is the bonus game almost exactly like just the game. I would not have paid for the Collectors Edition and just used a free coupon for this if I am just playing the same game over again.
