Fun To Find Hidden Objects

Could Not Finish Game ????
My daughter and I really liked this game. We love HOGs. But we could not finish as when we finished all the levels and got to the attic for the 'surprise', there were some grey boxes and a rocking chair, all with question marks ?? on them, and nothing was clickable. We restarted the game a few times but to no avail. Very disappointed that we could not enjoy the ending!

Entertaining!
I love all the Dream Day games. Can't wait until they come out with another one. They are an escape from all the dark, mind reeling games when you just want to play a game to have fun and not have to strain your brain. I go back to each and every one of the Dream Days on a regular basis and play them all the way through again. Buy it for relaxation if for nothing else. Great fun!

you are helping a newlywed couple, just returned from their honeymoon, with the purchase of their first home. you need to clean the place up, go shopping so you can recreate and redecorate this humble house into your dream home. this hidden object game is the third installment in the "Dream Day" series and picks up where the first two games left off.
graphics: bold, crisp and colourful. the hidden objects scenes are piles of junk, but since you have just moved in to this house, this is expected if you have just moved in to a fixer-upper.
music and sound effects: classical music, pleasant to listen to. few sound effects, although the golden eggs are accompanied by their own special sound effects.
storyline: this is actually a decent storyline for a hidden object game.
gameplay: you have the choice of two houses and once you choose one, you must stick with that choice through to the end of the game, when you can then repeat the process with the other house. hidden object scenes are different rooms in the house and you are given a search list of items to find. each level is timed, and consists of two, three or four rooms that you search for a certain number of items. you can earn hints by finding golden eggs -- five eggs gives you one hint. there is an overclick penalty. at the end of each level, you go to the attic to play minigames -- mostly memory-matching games. the minigames, which are not too difficult, cannot be skipped.

i love hidden object games, but the home-buying theme doesn't especially appeal to me. however, the game was on special offer so for that reason, i tried it. i am glad i did because it was surprisingly fun. this upbeat game is surprisingly complex, and with all the options available, the replay value is very high. plus it's fun for the entire family, either in teams, or as a group activity.

An Upbeat HOG
When you feel like you want to play a straight HOG without all the bells and whistles, this is a good game to have on standby. The music is upbeat, yet very relaxing. [I'm tempted to let the game stop between chapters and just listen to the music.] Gameplay is straightforward. The HOS aren't exactly uncluttered and small, but they're certainly not the worst I've seen (clutter seems to be in spots in each HOS). And the artwork is so gorgeous and bright, it makes up for any clutter. Finding the nicely-sized golden eggs is an easy way to earn extra hints (very helpful for a timed game). There are puzzles at the end of each chapter that are each played 4 times. They are not only relevant to the game, but are easy and fun. Although timed, the amount of time given to complete each chapter is generous. This is my favorite of the Dream games.

Fun Hidden Object Game
This game was heaps of fun, my whole family had a go at finding objects. Even my 4 yr old.
It would of been good to be able to pick more of the design of the furniture and colours of the house. The mini games were great.

Disappointing!
I purchased this game based on the reviews. I am sorry to say I was disappointed. HOB Games are my favorite and I love playing in casual or relaxed mode. I enjoy games where I can redecorate a house, garden or barn and choose the decor. Even in untimed mode for this game I am continually frustrated by not being allowed to complete one scene before moving on to a mini game. I am sorry I cannot recommend this game.

Dream Day First Home
Jenny and Robert are about to buy their First Home, they have narrowed it down to two houses! Choose which of the two houses they should buy and help them unpack, shop and decorate. Don't worry, you can replay the game and choose the second house for a whole new game with different rooms and items to search for. When you play both houses, you will unlock a mystery level! You will need to find a specific amount of items within an allotted time within two or three room locations, and you usually search for all but two items in each group. Instead of hidden birds, this game has hidden Nest Eggs, for every 5 eggs you find you will receive an extra clue. After each set of Hidden Object Scenes, you will play a Mini game. You get to choose from three different games, Fix-R-Upper, Puzzle Garden, and Perfect Match. You will play each game four times throughout the game and you can choose which order you want to play those games. Each completed game transforms a room from a cluttered before, to a beautiful "after" room. When you have completed all 12 Mini Games you will unlock a Bonus Level. Enjoy!

So far, the frustrations outweigh the pleasures
The artwork is beautiful, though the HO scenes are frequently too cluttered. I found it hard to identify certain hidden items where I normally don't have a problem doing that. Oh, also - I've found this to be true in this game as well as others in the Dream Day series - there needs to be more clues! Also, I don't like it that the game doesn't make it clear up front what the rules are regarding finding hidden objects. It's like you work hard to find them only to find out that you're able to move on without having to have tried that hard.

Nothing spectacular....
I bought this when on sale, and I'm glad I didn't put out more than I did. While not unenjoyable, it didn't live up to my expectations. Have to agree with other reviewers - would have been far more enjoyable if there was more actual input into how the house was renovated. I enjoyed the mini-games, although there wasn't much challenge. Was an ok way to spend an hour or so.

These types are all the same, and this one is no exception. The music was nice, the graphics were so-so. The HO scenes were junk piles to the nth power.
All these need are a fun and exciting story line, or witty banter, or some humor, and I'd happily put up with the HOs. Sigh...

I have to be careful what I buy these days. With my mind gradually failing, and the games with such small things, it's hard for me to play. I'm sure a year ago I would have loved this game. Today it's very hard!

An ok game
i guess i am spoiled i have dream day true love and absoutely loved it...i realize this came out b4 true love but in my opinion unless you are absolutely crazy about the series this pales in camparison! some of the objects were not great for ex: the film...looked like bunch of gears to me and the play phone? it looked like nothing my kids played with did not even look like 2 cans looked like some weird thing with a string connected...i do remember the 2 cans with a string (never worked tho lol)
for me this is a no buy even at sale prices.
but that is just my opinion you have to judge for yourself ^^

Sorry, but it's boring
I like some HOGs but this one just isn't for me. The scenes were filled with tiny objects and, even after I used a hint and saw where an object was, I was left wondering how I was supposed to have found it. I did like the method available for increasing the number of hints available. The music was irritating; I turned the volume all the way down. The mini-games in the attic were way too simple. Didn't play the whole hour before I'd had enough.

Not for me!
I do not enjoy the hidden object games where everyting is blurry. I don't mind the items being hard to find but not when they are so blurry you can't even make them out. The limited hints were also a deterent for me. I worry if I only have three hints and four rooms to go what happens if I use all my hints? I have to start completely over under a new player? I liked the game premise and the mini games were easy but the hard to find objects and blurriness makes this a no buy for me.
