Guardians of Magic: Amanda's Awakening is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enchanting I very nearly bypassed this game, not being the sort of game i like, having nothing better to do i gave it a go.What a surprise it turned out to be,no hidden objects, just puzzles, which are easy, a lovely game to relax with.lots of information in the spell book so no brain strain, Thanks BF sometimes we need games to just chill out with, and this fits the bill, it doesn't matter if you are a beginner or a seasoned player give this game a try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fun! Well, I don't really care about ratings and negative reviews about this game. Because for me, I'm enjoy playing this game 'til end. So thank you dev! Love the puzzles! It is fun, really.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun for beginners and experienced gamers! The is a little gem for a relaxing day! No scary, dark, gloom, or creepy. Just bright scenes that have nice music. The puzzles are not that difficult but start really easy than get semi easy as you move through the game, so perfect for a beginner. There are a variety of puzzles, lots of them too. You have to look around for items, clues to solving puzzles and blueprints to some machines that help you find things and solve tasks. No map but it's easier to find your way around and not get lost. Good family game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Puzzlemania! Wow, this game is just chocked full of puzzles, which I love! The story has you learning magic and using constellations to reveal new locations to explore! The storyline seems intriguing and the graphics are very bright, colorful and clear! I just think Guardians of Magic is a fun and adorable game! I would totally waste an afternoon with this little gem!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Very Enjoyable Game ... Graphics & Sound OK ... A Very Basic Game That Is Very Easy Going And Enjoyable To Play ... No HOG's, No Fuss, Just A Few Basic Puzzles And You Are Done ... Worth A Voucher Or Special Deal To Fill In A Bit Of Time ...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Got this from another site when it was first released for Mac. Hint system was unclear. Sometimes you have to guess. There should be a walkthrough by now. Also, the ending was hinting a sequel. Unless it's out, I would not get this. A great effort from a not-as-well-known developer and if not knowing what may never happen next doesn't bother you, by all means, use a coupon or wait for a deal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun Time Waster Cute game with tons of puzzles. Clear, colourful graphics. No HOS. Instead you must collect spells and parts of gadgets. Played the entire demo. Light and entertaining game. Great way to spend a rainy afternoon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute game I liked the storyline of Guardians of Magic. It was a little hard to follow with no voice over and directionally it was a little challenged. The hint button was very helpful in locating what had to be done next. The items to find were on the small side and not sure sometimes that they needed to be picked up. The art was cartoonish but it was well done and fit into the storyline. The music was soothing and not distracting or annoying. I liked the "box" puzzles. The bubble machine was different and seeing the "mystical" creatures was also well done. I enjoyed the game and will purchase it with one of my free game credits. It was overall fun for all ages.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No ghosts or monsters - Yeah! I really am tired of all the scary monster HOGs being offered lately, so I was pleasantly surprised at this gentle game. I liked it for a "play before bedtime" soothing puzzle game. Recommended for younger players, too, for the no monster reasons.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from that nagging feeling I have a feeling that I've played this before. It's been a year or two. It's the telescope and the gated pictures, they just seem so familiar...I wish I could remember more... Now I'll be driven nuts about this, until I can figure it out. Does anyone out there know of an old game like this? I wasn't sure I would like this game, but I do like it. It dosn't have any HO, but it does have lots of puzzles that are fun to do. I only did the demo, but really became engrossed, and was upset that my hour was over...quick fix, I bought it.
