Rated 5 out of 5 by from loved it Game is fairly easy to figure out. I did get stuck when trying to take crystal off of altar though. had to replay it because i cast a spell i could not get out of. Second time I nailed it. This game is awesome because you have to learn skills to open up missions and better jobs. As your skill increases your jobs and other spells also upgrade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Something new in resource management If you are tired in TM and RM games from building houses and getting rent from them, try this one. No houses to build. No time limits. You need money and you need to kinds of energy (vigor and mana) and whatever you do, they go down - working brings you money (and you have to train for at least three or four of those), but deplestes your energies. You can get some back by eating, potions, or attending teh circus. Or just resting in your place, that the more deocrations you put in there the better you replentish. You get quests to fulfill, and some of them get complicated because you need to have done something else first, or because the storyline makes it so that the frist spell taht you cast did not work out. The setting is nicely spooky, and the characters are fun. Plus you get to dress up your avatar and look really gorgeous. In short not your run of the mill resource management game. A real delight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite yet This game was so different from the usual format of most BigFish games. I wasn't sure if I would like it. Turns out, I love it! The only things that would have made it any better is if you could have actually seen some cut scenes for the circus acts and if there were some actual study material or combining ingredients for spells and courses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strategy Will Get You Everything I love this game. I understand how others could consider this boring, but I am a fan of the LifeQuest games, so this is a winner for me. I bought it on a Daily Deal, but would gladly have paid regular club price for this little gem. If you have ever played life management games, like LifeQuest, Kudos, or LifeStory, then you will understand the game mechanics. Yes, in the beginning the mode of transportation is slow, the clothing choices are limited, and career options are few. But like all life management games, you learn and grow so you can advance. As you move up the ladder, you gain more career choices, as well as open up multiple options for clothing, furniture, and "vehicles" (bat clouds, dragons, etc.). Twilight City is not a time management game or a HOPA- it is a LIFE management game. Therein lies the confusion. This is not a click-as-fast-as-you-can monstrosity or a puzzle-laden HO journey, but a game of subtle strategy. If you want something fast and furious, or full of intrigue, this is not the game for you. Strategy, remember? You have to carefully consider career choices, educational opportunities and purchase options. Everything you do has an impact on your progress. Twilight City has great repeat playability. You can chose different genders, clothing, classes, occupations, transport, etc. You will eventually have to gain a certain level of skill, but it is clearly marked out in detail. There are no major surprises here, so don't expect ghosts jumping out at you or bats flying toward the screen. This is strategy with a gothic twist. I read on the forum of various technical issues, but I didn't encounter a single glitch during my gameplay. Everything went smoothly, from installation to clicking on the last item. Lots of fun for those of us who don't care for timers, but love to strategize!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from can you make more I would like to see more of this type of game with more variety and longer story line.. where game play can continue without getting boring.. something where the adventure goes on for several more levels and you can maybe see some more activity from the avatar..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Velvet challenged Love the game, but a sequel could allow the characters that we worked on here -to complete new achievements and perhaps go to neighboring towns and use them as attachments to the game. With differnet towns -new challenges can be added to increase levels and levels give new powers/decisions or choices which can again attain you new.powers/more to learn...or how about... Is there a building to own and start new business and a home to buy and outfit would be cool-how about blood taxes to pay in this Vampire town/clan wars...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved It!!!!! I really enjoyed playing this game. I liked the story. It would have been cool if you had a choice to stay a vampire or return as a human. There could have have been different endings by the choices you made. I thought it was a fun game to play and I will enjoy playing it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Vampire Themed Game This is a great game in the style of Life Quest. Except everything is a little creepy and spooky since you're a vampire! You can be a male or female and choose what your character looks like. You can dress your character, choose furnishings for your living quarters, and learn spells. Your character must work to make money and once you have the necessary requirements, you can get a better job. The game operates by giving you different quests to complete. However, you must have enough mana and vigor to complete your activities. Otherwise, you will either go home and rest or use a potion. If you're looking for something fast paced, this is not the game for you... this is a great game but it's for when you're in the mood for something slow. So glad I found this game... I really love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Twilight City... A Supernatural Life Quest! When I first came across Twilight City: Love as a Cure, I thought it would be a neat little game as I have enjoyed similar games such as Life Quest and its sequel. So, I decided to give the trial a chance and I'm really glad I did. It plays very similarly to the Life Quest games so there's no learning curve for those who have played the others. The graphics are great overall with a nice gothic feel to them. The story behind the game is nice as well, with you playing a vampire who is desperately trying to become human again to be with the woman he loves. Like in Life Quest, you have to learn skills and build up attributes to get better jobs and more money so you can meet certain goals along the way such as updating your room's furnishings and your wardrobe, not to mention the really interesting vehicles and pets! However, there is no need to go to sleep at the end of every day, so there's no load time and goal update screens to wait on. The game is fairly simple but still a lot of fun to play and took longer to finish than either Life Quest game did for me. There are spells to learn and mana & blood potions to drink to solve goals and regain vitality and spell energy. Each spell has a rune that needs to be drawn for casting and you can either do it automatically or draw it yourself from memory to save a lot of energy. Drawing it yourself gets a little tricky as you near the end of the game and sometimes you have to try several times as the game seems to want perfection by then. All in all, this is a great little game that I spent a freebie on and I'm really glad I did! A fun strategy game for anyone to at least try.
