Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful! At first, I wasn't sure if I would like this game, but I was soon hooked, and didn't want to stop playing until I had finished the game! The word that kept coming to me as I was playing was, "intuitive." This game plays the way it should. There was no wondering, "Why am I having to do THIS?" Things were where you would think they should be. Everything flowed well. That being said, this was a fairly easy game. Puzzles were never frustrating. HOGs were good. There were a lot of things to find in each hidden object scene. Also, there was an option of switching to a Mahjong game. This was fun once and a while, but I'm not really into Mahjong, so I preferred to stay in the scene and find things. The storyline was interesting. There was even an element of time travel. The setting was great. Sometimes in a mansion, sometimes on an old ship, sometimes in a town or a monastery. There wasn't a map, but you don't need one. It is easy to navigate. While there was some traveling around within the scene, it didn't feel like too much back and forth. Once you picked something up, you would use it fairly soon after. I liked the characters. The voice overs and music were appealing. There were quite a few cut scenes which were beautiful and not too time-consuming. The hint system was easy to use. It refilled quickly and could be used to point you in the right direction when you are unsure of where to go next. The graphics are nice. This game is not as long as most but still worth the money. I played SE, and was very happy with it. This game is well worth the money, and I recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Second Game in Series I actually played the third game first and liked it so much I went back to pick up this one and the first game. The game is long for an SE, you have an interactive map, a journal, great mini-puzzles, and hidden objects. The hint button fills fast. I highly recommend this series. (See other players comments for more detail -- didn't want to repeat same things).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Different This is very different from the usual Hidden Object games I've been downloading from Big Fish, and refreshingly so. It does contain hidden object scenes but overall it is an adventure game and puts me in mind of the old PC games I used to play in the 90s (yes, I'm that old!) albeit with much better graphics. The colours are lovely, the scenes are like oil-paintings tinged with purples and oranges like a gorgeous sunset, and the music not too distracting. The voice acting is very good and the little errands and puzzles fun to do, plus unusually for me I'm absolutely engrossed in the storyline. Any negatives? The diary/journal sparkles an awful lot and I personally found it annoying because I wanted to get on with the game and not read what had just happened, and I would like the map to have been easier to use - but at least it does have a map and symbols to show where there are things to do which helps a lot. More of this standard please Big Fish!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally, an AWESOME game with 5 Stars all across!! I LOVE this game. The visual quality is like watching a movie on your computer and being able to interact and draw the conclusion of the, "movie"!! Its game play is a great level of challenge that is just right, meaning not too hard and not too easy. The hint button charges pretty quickly. A Map to get you from one former visited place to another without having to go through a, "maze" all throughout the game!! I can't find anything bad to say about this game!! It's awesome and well worth purchasing and even playing more than once!! Highly Recommended!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Game! This is one of the best adventure games Ive ever played, big call I know but the graphics storyline and overall game is brilliant. You go back in time to retrive a scepter to defeat your foe. Interactive map that takes you to the place you need to go, the hint is helpful and fills quickly. I absolutely recommend this game. I brought it before I finished the trial version. HOS were optional ie you could play marjong instead of the HO. I played the easiest level and it took me over 8 hours! Great weekend game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great Secret Order Game Above all I liked the nice modulated voices. No unpleasant American accents here (sorry folks). All the characters were nice and the scenery lovely. It wasn't a hard game but it was entertaining and involving. It was a good length and there was a map to travel by and a baby griffin to fly up and get the high up things. All in all a very enjoyable way to spend some spare hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BRILLIANT If you're tired of the same ol' stuff and want something that is truly state of the art, this is it. I'm in the midst of playing The Gold Bug Collection and couldn't do it for one more minute. I needed something that would stretch my imagination. How lucky I found this. This is an adventure game, first and foremost. The story line is spooky and the elements of the game support this: The Music alone keeps you on the edge of your seat; the lighting/set direction is done by a master of his art as the feel of the game is scary and finger-nail-biting good. The voice-overs are done by excellent voice actors who are are REALLY acting. I think the games are well constructed and a challenge. They are essential to the progress of the story, moving it forward, as opposed to being time-wasters. You've not played anything like this so it's very hard to compare it to another game. Please suffice it to say that I was hooked in the first 10 minutes. First it was the quality of the game, as I described above, that got me. Then it was the story line that took over. This game bombards your senses and I strongly urge you to treat yourself to, what I hope is, the start of a new generation of Hidden Object/Puzzle/Adventure game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ALL ABOARD.....DESTINATION, THE PAST! Although this game starts out a little slow, it picks up a rapid pace and the demo will leave you hungry for answers. The Secret Order has just inducted their newest and youngest member, and because he is filled with anger and has a thirst for revenge of the people who murdered his parents, he has gone rogue. He now has access to the sacred mask with all it's evil powers and without the scepter that was stolen centuries ago to balance the powers, he may be unstoppable! It's up to you, the daughter of one of the secret five, Sarah and a close friend, the museum director, to stop him and restore the balance. As you investigate the museum you will find the original ship in hiding behind secret walls. This is no ordinary ship, this is a vessel capable of traveling back in time! After you find all the parts to make the ship work you set a course back to ye ole times to find the person responsible for stealing the scepter. Great story right? Also included are crisp clear graphics, cutscenes that are movie quality, and clever and new mini games. My favorite puzzle involves several gears one of which you must move through other gears blocking the path with the correct openings allowing your gear to pass but you have to pass the gear over the gear beside to manipulate the gears opening to allow your gear to move through. It sounds complicated, but it's actually not, it's just fun! There aren't a lot of HOS and in my opinion the items are way to small. There is a map for traveling, but it is in your journal and you have to open the journal, then click on the map tab to open up the map which indicates where there is an available task by an exclamation point. This is a good version of SE worthy of a credit or a purchase, see for yourself, I think you'll agree! Enjoy!
