Revived Legends: Titan's Revenge is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from really enjoyed :) This was a daily special on purchase so couldn't play demo before purchased but was happy i did purchase it. This is the first time playing Revivied Legends - i found it very enjoyable. Loved my little helper. The puzzles and hidden objects were entertaining. I got a bit confused at the start when moving into different worlds but got the hang of it (very quickly this stopped happening anyway). The good thing was that although you saved the worlds people wereNT standing around near you (doing nothing while you did all the work). Will definitely look at other games in this title. Well done on the scene, the action etc - although the cuts to next scene was a little slow (but maybe i am being picky - didn't really notice it) but it definitely didn't take away from the story.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from MAYBE THIS LEGEND SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN REVIVED On your way to enjoy a well-deserved vacation you run smack dab into the middle of another archeological catastrophe. This time a titan has been released upon the world to wreak havoc with the ancient Greek Gods and may just destroy the world in the process. Can you put a stop to Demos and save the world? The graphics are just so-so and I have come to expect more than rather cartoonish characters in my games. The voice-overs are passable but just barely. I think that today we are asking for a bit more realism in our game characters and some developers can do it so well. I for one would rather have no voiceovers in a game than some that are so out of character that it is ludicrous. There is a unique tool, the Amulet of Time, which allows us to travel between times. The only other tool of importance is the interactive transporter type map but I could not find a journal so I guess it’s not needed. There is a task icon included on the side of the inventory box that keeps track of your current goal. There are various types of interactive HOPs, most of which are the standard list type with a bit of interaction. The HOP in the fruit stand has been changed since the beta and I was rather disappointed with the replacement game. IMHO it’s too bad that the developer changed it from a fun puzzle to a bland silhouette scene. There are a couple of interesting puzzles early in the game but most are only okay and rather predictable. In the end, this second offering in the Revived Legends series should have stayed buried. This is just my opinion but I would like to see developers stop chewing up memory, disk space, and download time with the inclusion of so many worthless cut scenes. IMHO, these cut scenes often add very little to the game and take away from the great gameplay that once was the basis of HOPA games. Maybe sometimes less is more! I don’t need glitzy cinematics when I play a game; I want great HO scenes and intriguing puzzles, with a good story and lots of adventure. Please developers return to the basics by adding substance to your games rather than useless cut scenes. As always, I recommend that you at least try the demo to see if this is a game you will like. Happy gaming!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great concept, slow moving story Literary fans knowledgeable with Greek mythology will get a kick out of this game, which pays homage to well known mythic figures like Zeus, Athena, Hades, Cerberus, etc. The artwork is beautiful, but the slow moving story or lack of story, voiceovers that aren't in sync with lips moving and characters that speak as slow as a centipede, expert mode that disables all help (including helpful messages), makes for discombobulated sleuthing experience. The puzzles are the type that are vexing to solve most of the time, and HOPs are sparse. I wanted to like the game based on the theme, but devs made a poor sleuthing experience. Even a minimal tutorial is needed for people who want to play expert mode, as the way they set up the game doesn't give clues for what you need to do to progress. The game is big on using the magic amulet, which acts as a time portal traveler, as objects to find are present in different time modes (ancient Greece) vs modern times. If played on normal mode, it's probably a fine game. On expert mode, not so much. Judge for yourself.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from And me Just a Mortal This is posted after playing the entire game. This was an okay game. I have played a lot worse, but also a lot better. At the time it was the best offered. To tell you it was fun would be an exaggeration, but It did keep me occupied through a rainy day. The graphics were okay. Nothing to really write home about and the sounds were very well done. Music went along with the action in the story, wasn't annoying so that's a plus. The hidden objects were many and varied. So were extremely challenging and some were very easy. You have a fantastic mix of games and that makes it fun for me. They range from the standard list to shadows, to putting objects into the scene to get something, along with others. The mini games, again, some were hard and I skipped them (not a big fan of mini games anyway) and some were easy enough that I did complete them. They too were varied, but nothing really new and exciting. You have an interactive map which will tell you where things are to be done and will transport you there. No journal, but honestly you didn't need one. There is a task button that will kind of help you along. The hint button is a great assist and recharges quickly. Always a plus in my book. The story, you can read what Big Fish writes concerning the main points. It was kind of interesting. It stretches what I learned in school about the Gods of Olympus, but it's there story and they can tell it anyway they want, so there. I was really disappointed in the ending. You defeat the demon and wham, you're sitting on a beach having a drink. The End. The one aspect of the game I loved is it had a male as the hero. Those are few and far between. All in all, it is a decent game. Not up to what I expect from Blam, but if there is a sale or you have a free game about to expire I recommend it. At least give the demo a try and see what you think.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Maybe He Just Didn't Want To Be Disturbed! When archaeologists accidentally disturb the peaceful slumber of a legendary Titan, in Athen's Greece, your much anticipated vacation becomes more exciting than you imagined. First, there's an eclipse that wasn't supposed to occur, followed by a massive earthquake that rips the earth so far apart that it swallows up entire vehicles! As if that isn't enough excitement, a giant Titan rises from his century long slumber and he's seeking revenge. The Gods have deemed you worthy enough (because apparently you were the only one who could solve the mini game) to receive the Amulet of Time, which will allow you to travel through time itself, between ancient Greece and Modern Greece as you seek the help of the mythical Gods, time has forgotten. Time hasn't been kind to the Gods, modern Grecians no longer worship these powerful Gods, which has caused their powers to weaken. Can these weakened Gods defeat the Titan once again, (with your help of course) or will the Titans' thirst for revenge destroy everything and everyone in their path? Who doesn't love a good story based upon the Olympian Gods of Greece? The mythical twelve Gods and Goddesses that once ruled the universe from atop Mount Olympus, must return after hundreds of years of dormancy. Zeus, was the Leader of Mt. Olympus, who overthrew his father, Kronos, the leader of the Titans, his wife was Hera, and they became the King and Queen, and ruler of the gods. Poseidon, was the god of the sea, Hades was the god of the dead (sounds like a dead end job), Aphrodite the goddess of love and beauty, Apollo the god of music, Ares the god of war, Artemis the goddess of the hunt and protector of women during childbirth, Athena the goddess of wisdom, Hephaestus the god of fire, Hestia the goddess of the hearth (doesn't sound very impressive) , Hermes the messenger god, Demeter the goddess of the harvest, and Dionysus was the god of wine (now that's a job!) I have always loved stories about these gods, so I thought I would list the Greek Gods because they are often confused with Roman gods, who for the most part are similar but have different names for these gods (Zeus=Jupiter) The Amulet of Time gives you the unique ability to travel back in time, to the same place, hundreds of years ago. Several portals are located throughout the game which are activated by the Amulet. Because you are visiting the same location in a different period of time, you will be doing a lot of back and forth tasks, but it really isn't that time consuming. The Hidden Object Scenes are mostly interactive list finds, but there are some scenes where all of the listed items require an interaction such as finding one object to use like a knife, for example, to cut open a chair to expose the next object. There are some scenes that require you to find several groups of items that resemble a shape shown such as 6 strawberries and 2 potatoes. You can choose an alternate Match 3 game instead of the HOS. The mini games were entertaining, not frustrating, such as placing several items in each scene as a story is being narrated, you put the items in the correct places to continue with the story. My favorite puzzle requires you to swap red, blue and green tiles with 1/2 of a gem, in one, two or three different placement directions, so that all of the same color tiles connect to each other when all of the gems match up. The Collectors Edition has 16 Achievements, 21 Collectible Statues (possibly morphing) Wallpapers, Music, Videos, Mini Games, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
