Your goal is to destroy the highest number of bricks without letting the ball drop into the void. Destroying certain bricks will give you bonuses.
Some will help you, like the tea-pot which helps you relax while the computer controls your racket or the rifle which transforms your racket into a rocket-launcher and lets you destroy more bricks. Still others can cause trouble, and won't let you take it easy, like the bombs that destroy everything in their paths.
