Whether you use this document as a reference when things get difficult or as a road map to get you from beginning to end, we’re pretty sure you’ll find what you’re looking for here. This document contains a complete Anka game walkthrough featuring annotated screenshots from actual gameplay! We hope you find this information useful as you play your way through the game. General Tips & Information

  • You may play this game in windowed or full screen.
  • You may adjust the volume in the options screen.
  • Most actions are done with 'point and click'.
  • You may need to right-click to rotate pieces during mini-games.
  • All mini-games may be re-played from the main menu once they have been solved in-game.
  • You may skip mini-games once the skip meter is filled.
  • There are many additional levels in the unlocked mini-games.
  • You can add your own photos to the jigsaw mini-game.

  • If you get stuck, click on everything. You may have missed an item.
  • Inventory is stored in the upper part of the screen.
  • The lower right corner of the screen will show your current task/objective.
  • Hints are unlimited, but you must wait for the hint meter to refill.
  • Click on the menu button the exit and return to the main menu.

At the Cottage

  • Anka's mother is calling. Click on the door to the cottage.
  • You broke the door handle off earlier and threw it on the roof.
  • Click on the door handle on the roof.
  • You need something long.
  • Take the long stick that is leaning on the fence. (It will automatically go into your inventory.)
  • Take the stick from your inventory and use it on the handle on the roof.
  • The handle falls into the barrel.
  • You can't reach the handle because of the water.
  • Pick up the axe.
  • Take the axe from inventory and use it to remove the bung from the barrel.
  • Once the water stops flowing, click on the barrel to remove the handle.
  • Pick up the handle.
  • Take the handle for your inventory and use it on the door.
  • Click on the door to enter the cottage.

  • You need to find the eggs you had hidden earlier.
  • Not all the eggs are visible.
  • You will need to move items and look inside drawers etc.
  • Items you need to move are marked in green.
  • Click on the broom straw 6 times to find an egg.
  • Pick up the stool and place in on the rug in front of the fireplace.
  • Take the egg from the candle sconce.
  • Take a stick out of the container.
  • Use the stick under the chest of drawers to get an egg.
  • Move the plate and jar on the chest of drawers to find two eggs.
  • Open the left curtain, move the jar and the shovel to find three eggs.
  • Open the teapot on the table to find an egg.
  • Take the egg from the fireplace.
  • This one is dirty and will go into a separate slot in your inventory.
  • Find the remaining visible eggs.

  • You will find an egg in each of the 4 drawers.
  • Take the scrub brush from the 3rd drawer.

  • Place the dirty egg into the sink.
  • Use the scrub brush to clean off the dirt.
  • Take the clean egg.
  • Click on the rug to exit the cottage.

  • Click on all the foliage until it stops moving to uncover many eggs.
  • Take the long stick and use it on the barrel.
  • Move a log in a wood pile.
  • Move the axe.
  • Open the right chicken coop door.

  • Taking the egg from the chicken coop will make Anka ask you how many chicken eggs equal an ostrich egg.
  • The correct answer is 24.
  • Take all the visible eggs.

  • A wood pecker has appeared on the left tree.
  • Click on the bird until he flies away.
  • Take the axe and use it on the hole created by the bird to reveal an egg.
  • Take the egg.
  • Click on the left chicken coop door to trigger a mini-game.

  • The object of this mini-game is to move the straw out of the way and drag the eggs to the nest.
  • For the first part, drag the two lower squares to the left and right.
  • Drag the eggs to the nest to complete the level.
  • Click on next to move to the next level.

  • For part two, first move the squares on the left all the way down to fill in the lower section, then move the eggs to the left.
  • Move 3 squares in the right column up to fill in the upper area.
  • Move the rectangle to the right.
  • Continue moving the hay out of the way and the eggs to the nest.

  • For part three, move the hay and eggs until you can get the eggs to the nest.
  • There are many possible solutions for this puzzle, we have depicted only one.

  • After completing the mini-games, the final egg will appear in the left coop.
  • Take the egg and enter the cottage.
  • Place the eggs into the basket on the table.
  • Anka's mother decides to make a pie.
  • Open the top drawer and take the cookbook.
  • Click to close the drawer.
  • Place the cookbook onto the table.
  • Click on the cookbook to trigger a mini-game.

  • The object of this mini-game is to locate the words on the list in the grid of letter.
  • Left-click and drag to highlight a word.

  • Pick-up the cookbook, stick, pot cover and dirty dishes.
  • Click on the foot stool, cup, bottle and teapot lid to straighten.
  • Take the teapot.
  • Click to straighten the picture frame on the left and a oven mitt will fall out.
  • Take the oven mitt.

  • Open the bottom drawer and place the oven mitt with its mate.
  • Straighten the towel in the drawer.
  • Open the 2nd drawer and place the lid on the pot.
  • Place the teapot on the shelf.

  • Open the first drawer and place the cookbook inside.
  • Place the stick in in the container next to the fireplace.
  • You will find a wooden fork.
  • Place the dirty dishes in the sink.
  • Open the 3rd drawer and take the red soap and the sponge.
  • Put the soap in the sink with the dishes.
  • Use the sponge to clean the dishes.
  • Take the clean dishes and place them on the stack on the shelf.
  • You will find a scrub brush.

  • Use the scrub brush on the crumbs on the table cloth.
  • You notice something under the tablecloth.
  • Click on the tablecloth to find the curtain tie.
  • Take the curtain tie and click on the tablecloth to smooth it out.
  • Use the curtain tie on the left curtain.
  • Take the egg cup from the window.

  • Open the top drawer and place the egg cup inside.
  • Open the second drawer and place the fork inside.

  • Now that the house is clean, Anka wants to play.
  • Click on the jigsaw pieces on the table to trigger a mini-game.

  • The object of this mini-game is to restore the picture using jigsaw puzzle pieces.
  • Left-click to pick up or drop the pieces.
  • Right-click on a piece to rotate its position.

In the Garden

  • Time to play outside.
  • Your dog is back, so your dad must be near.
  • Click on the arrow sign on the lower right to walk to the garden.
  • After talking to your father, pick up the gloves.
  • Use the gloves on the bushes next to the well to find the wheel.
  • Place the wheel on the wheelbarrow.
  • Take the wheelbarrow and place it under the tree with the sign.
  • Click on the sign to trigger a mini-game.

  • The object of this mini-game is to find matching sets of letters on the tiles.
  • Click on two tiles to reveal the letters.
  • When two tiles match they will be removed from the board.
  • This game is randomized.

  • Now use the tiles to create a sentence.
  • Click on two tiles to swap positions until you form a sentence.
  • The solution is: Look under some rocks for the key.
Anka
  • Click on the large rock in front of the shed to find the key.
  • Use the key to unlock the door.
  • Take the shovel and the bucket.
  • Click on the jar of honey to learn that queen bees lay eggs 24 hours a day.
  • Anka asks how many eggs in a lifetime and the correct response is- 115,000.

  • Exit the shed by clicking outside of the zoomed area.
  • Use the shovel on the mole hole to find a bone.
Anka
  • Anka will ask how many bones a human skeleton is made of.
  • The correct answer is 206 bones.
  • Click on the bone to put it into your inventory.
  • Click on the upper path to return to the cottage.

  • Give the bone to the dog.
  • Take the rope from inside the dog house.
  • Take the axe.
  • Return to the garden.
Anka
  • Place the rope then the bucket onto the well.
  • Click on the handle to fill the bucket with water.
  • Take the bucket and use it on one of the tomato plots.
  • The bucket will automatically go near the fence.
  • Take the bucket and place it on the well.
  • Click the handle to fill it with water.
  • Take the filled bucket and water another plot.
  • Repeat this process for the third plot.

  • Anka decides he can't wait to build the scarecrow.
  • Use the axe on the long stick.
  • Take the piece that falls to the ground and place it on the upright stick.
  • You need to find something to fix it.
  • Go to the shed and take the shoelace from the shoe.
  • Exit the shed and use the shoelace on the sticks to complete the skeleton.

  • Go to the shed and take the old jacket.
  • Place the jacket onto the scarecrow skeleton.
  • Inside a jacket pocket, Anka finds a lighter.
  • Use the lighter to light the firewood.
  • Since Anka is not supposed to play with fire, take the bucket of water and douse the fire.
  • Click on the burned logs to find a piece of charcoal.

  • Look at the scarecrow to discover that you need stuffing.
  • Walk back to the cottage area.
  • Take the hay from the open chicken coop door.
  • Return to the garden.

  • Place the straw into the scarecrow.
  • Enter the shed and look at the pumpkin.
  • Use the charcoal to draw a face on the pumpkin.
  • Take the pumpkin and exit the shed.
  • Place the pumpkin head on the scarecrow.
  • Return to the shed and take the hat.
  • Exit the shed and place the hat on the scarecrow.
  • You have completed the scarecrow.

At the Lake

  • Anka hears a scream come from the direction of the lake.
  • Move your cursor over the right path.
  • Click when you see a direction arrow.

  • Try to look at the unconscious man on the shore, but the wasps will not let you close.
Anka
  • Walk back to the garden and enter the shed.
  • Take the jar of honey.
  • Return to the lake.
Anka
  • Drop the honey jar on the rock to break the jar.
  • This will draw most of the wasps away from the unconscious man.
  • Pick up the two pieces of the broken jar.
  • Use the lid piece on the straps of the trunk.
  • Look inside the trunk and take the flyswatter.
  • Use the flyswatter on the wasps still flying near the unconscious man.
  • This will trigger a mini-game.

  • The object of this mini-game is to push your opponent's pieces off of the paying field.
  • When all of one players pieces are off the board, the round is over.
  • Each time you win a log is removed from your opponents stack.
  • You must win 5 rounds.

  • Try to wake the man with no luck.
  • Walk to the garden and enter the shed.
  • Take the shoes and return to the lake.

  • Use the stinky shoes to wake the man.
  • He is very hungry.
  • Pick-up the sandwich and the apple from the stump.
  • Give the man the sandwich.
  • He eats it but wants more.
  • Give the man the apple.
  • This is Marcus, your neighbor.
  • He was framed with some stolen goods and must get away.
  • Look at the boat, but you need to pull it from the water.

  • Walk to the garden and take the rope from the well.
  • Return to the lake.

  • Look in the chest and take the pulley.
  • Place the pulley on the rope circling the tree.
  • Attach the rope to the pulley.
  • The rope will automatically attach to the boat.
  • Try to pull the rope but the pulley is rusted.

  • Walk back to the garden and enter the shed.
  • Take the oil can and return to the lake.

  • Use the oil can on the pulley.
  • Pull the rope to bring the boat ashore.
  • Look at the hole in the boat to discover you need a patch.
  • Look in the chest and take the patch.
  • Place the patch on the hole in the boat but it will not stick.
  • Grab the frog that appears in the water to trigger a mini-game.

  • The object of this mini-game is to move the frog to the rock at the end of the maze.
  • Move your cursor so the arrow points in the direction you want to move, then click.
  • You will have three levels to complete.
  • The solution for the first level is: U-R-U-R-D-R-U-R-D-L.

  • Anka realizes that his parents have been gone for quite some time.
  • Take the bottom path and head to town.

  • Click on the lower right arrow to head to town.

  • The sheriff appears and tells your your mother has been arrested for murder.
  • You must find your father before the sheriff.
  • Look at the doctor's office but there is a police line there.
  • Look at the blood on the sidewalk.
  • Enter the alley and look in the right barrel.
  • Take the bread.
  • Knock on the next door to ask if Madame Innkeeper has seen your father.
  • Look at the sign with the bed.
  • Walk right to the next scene.

  • Click on the birdcage in the center of the square to see the lock.
  • Click on the faces to make them match the sign from the previous scene.
  • The top row is: happy-happy-sad, and the bottom row is: sad-happy-happy.

  • Knock on the doors and speak to the shopkeeper and the sheriff.
  • Look in the alley and take the stick.
  • Try to go to the train station.
  • Anka realizes he must tell the sheriff about your fears.
  • The sheriff tells Anka to bring him evidence.

  • Walk left and knock on the door of the inn to gather evidence from Madame Innkeeper.
  • Learn about her lost cat.
  • Look at the poster to trigger a mini-game.

  • The object of the first part of this mini-game is to find the square that does NOT have a match.
  • Too many incorrect clicks and the level will restart.
  • You will have 6 different sets of squares.

  • Try to get the hook and line with the stick, but it is stuck.
  • Toss the bread to the fish.

  • Click on the tree several times to find the cat.

  • Give the sheriff the basket, the photo of the broken eggs, and the broken monocle.
  • The sheriff says that the witness wore a monocle.
  • He tells Anka to stay put while he gets the witness.
  • Anka's mother calls from the jail cell.
  • Click on the barred window to talk to her.

  • The stranger is headed to the gallows and is not talking.
  • Anka's father is still lost.

  • Click on the jail cell window and talk to the assassin.
  • He will tell you where your father is of you sabotage the gallows.
  • Look at the metal plate on the gallows to learn you need a screwdriver.
  • Take the pincers from the gallows.
  • Talk to the shopkeeper to see if he will lend you a screwdriver.
  • To get the screwdriver, you must find his bird.
  • Walk left to the inn.

  • The bird is on the lamppost, but it is too high to reach.
  • There is a flower box blocking the alley.
  • Knock on the door to the inn and the innkeeper will ask you to move the flower box.
  • Enter the alley and look in the right barrel.
  • Take the pierced gourd (wineskin) that falls out.
  • Exit the alley and talk to the innkeeper again.

  • In your inventory, use the pincers on the bow and arrow to remove the rubber suction tip.
  • Use the bow and arrow on the balloon to trigger a mini-game.

  • The object of this mini-game is to pop the required number of balloons with the given arrows.
  • Aim with your mouse and left-click to fire.
  • The longer the purple arrow, the more power when it fires.
  • For the first level you need to pop 15 balloons with 5 arrows.
  • Aim to take out as many balloons as possible.
  • If you do not make goal with the alloted number of arrows, the level will reset.

  • In the second level, you need to pop 20 balloons with 4 arrows.

  • For the third level, you need to pop 10 balloons with 4 arrows.
  • There is a wall preventing you from firing directly at the balloons.
  • You need to aim up to arch the arrow over the wall.

  • Knock on the door to the inn.
  • The innkeeper will give you seeds to catch the bird as thanks for watering the flowers.
  • Walk right and return to the fountain.

  • Place the seeds in the birdcage and pull the lever on the gallows.
  • Once the bird flies to the cage, click on it to put him in the cage.
  • Knock on the shopkeeper's door to ask for the screwdriver.
  • Use the screw driver on the plate at the base of the gallows.
  • Click on the opening to trigger a mini-game.

  • Move your mouse around and you will see that you can move up to four at a time.

  • The object of this mini-game is to move the luggage around in a slider puzzle to move the small brown bag onto the train.
  • Click and drag bags to move them.
  • There are 4 levels to this mini-game.

  • Talking to the next gentleman will automatically give you another ticket.
  • The next passenger is the mean kid.
  • He demands you answer a question in return for his ticket.
  • The correct response is: 5 cents.
  • Now that you have collected all the tickets walk through the left door to find the conductor.

  • Take the hook hanging on the side of the stove and open the top.
  • Take the fire wood and place it in the stove.
  • Open the upper left storage and take the kettle.
  • Fill the kettle with water at the sink.
  • Open the 2nd from the right storage and take a cup.
  • Inside the lower right cabinet are teabags.
  • Combine the cup and the teabag.
  • We need something to light the stove, so walk right to the next car.

  • Try to take the lighter on the right table.
  • The owner says he will let you have the lighter in exchange for a newspaper.
  • Walk left and return to the kitchen.
  • Open the upper right storage and take a newspaper.
  • Walk right to the next car and exchange the newspaper for the lighter.
  • Walk left and return to the kitchen.

  • Use the lighter to light the stove.
  • Place the kettle of water on the stove to heat up.
  • Once the water is hot, take the kettle and combine it with the tea and cup.
  • Walk to the right twice to give the lady her tea.
  • Another gentleman asks you for a newspaper.
  • Walk to the left twice to return to the kitchen.

  • Take the newspaper out of the cupboard but it is missing pages.
  • Take the page in the bin next to the stove, but it is wrinkled.
  • Open the ironing board and a page will fall to the ground.
  • Place the wrinkled page on the ironing board.
  • Open the oven and take a page.
  • Open the left cupboard and move the tablecloths to find a page.
  • Take the iron from that cupboard and heat it on the stove.
  • Use the iron to smooth out the wrinkled page.
  • Open the middle cupboard and move a pot to find a page.
  • Take the page taped to the wall.
  • Walk right to the next car.

  • Counting from the left, open the 3rd storage compartment and move the suitcase to find a page.
  • Open the 5th compartment and open the suitcase to find another page.
  • One page is behind the center curtains.
  • On the shelf on the left wall is a torn page.
  • Select the torn page to trigger a mini-game.

  • The object of this mini-game is to reassemble the page by sliding the pieces.
  • Begin by sliding all the dark picture pieces to the right.
  • I found it easiest to work on the coffee stain first.

  • Take the final page and walk right to deliver the paper.
  • Walk left twice to return to the kitchen.
  • Time to make pizza!
  • Open the left cupboard and take a can of sauce.
  • Counting from the left open the first storage and take the rolling pin.
  • Use the rolling pin on the dough.
  • Open the second storage and take the olives.
  • Open the third storage and take the can opener.
  • Use the can opener on the sauce.
  • Pour the sauce on the dough.
  • Take the cheese and the grater and combine them to get shredded cheese.
  • Place the cheese on the pizza.
  • Place the olives on the pizza.

  • Open the center cupboard, move some pots and take the pizza pan.
  • Use the pizza pan on the pizza.
  • Place the pizza in the oven and close the door.
  • You will see 20 minutes elapse.
  • Open the oven door.
  • Try to take the pizza but it is too hot.
  • Open the 4th from the left storage compartment and take the oven mitt.
  • Use the oven mitt on the pizza.
  • Take the pizza cutter from the 3rd storage bin and use it on the pizza to trigger a mini-game.

  • The object of this mini-game is to make three cuts on the pizza, dividing it into 7 pieces, each with an olive.
  • Click on the orange dots to move the cutting lines.

  • The conductor has nothing else for Anka to do.
  • He places a mini-game on the counter for Anka to play.
